Yes! I used to have one of those scales, too. I've also used the handheld BIA (bioelectrical impedence analysis) device at the gym, and also had body fat computed by personal trainers using calipers. I found that calipers usually give the lowest result, BIA the highest, scale in the middle. None of these are as accurate as "dunking" but they're good enough. I'm sticking with BIA. Thanks for the kind words. My father's family tends to live a long time, so I've probably got another 20 trips around the sun, and I want to be strong 💪 enough to enjoy them!

This. My goal is not weighing X pounds. My goal is to get to <26% body fat. I started out at 48% and am now at 29.5% . I gained a pound the first week of lockdown and drug that damned pound around with me for a month. Since then I've lost about 25# . Now that I'm back in the gym swimming and lifting, I'm building muscle and decreasing body fat. Plus I've been a lot more calorie careful. If you think it's hard at 40, double the difficulty at 73.

Yep, I have a friend who had WLS just before the lockdown. She had to lose 50# (out of 275) on her own before she was eligible. So far she's doing well --- down 120 (including the pre-surgery 50) so she's almost at goal. She's really tall so 150 is goal.

Oh, the baby definitely wasn't early! She might have even been "late" if the original 8/22 due date was correct. But there's no way they could fake the birth date on the hospital monitor. And the date on the monitor, 9/6, squares with the monthaversary postings.

The baby was born September 6. In Chase's IG pictures in the hospital room, you can clearly see that information on the hospital monitor. Also, all the monthaversary pictures he has posted since are on/around the 6th. I seriously doubt that babymama would allow him to arbitrarily change Aurora's birth date. September 6th would probably mean conception sorta around Thanksgiving--- still REALLY soon after the "proposal. "
