  1. I've read in a few places how the creator of the series had no intention of writing Grace to be hated. So, he fixed it for the last few episodes. I'm thinking he's made the same mistake with Jared's character. He thinks he's writing him to be this protective loving person. But, this last episode was over the top at the end. Hopefully he'll read all the negative feedback and fix him for next season. He's a main character and I'd doubt he's planned to make it so that for the rest of the series he's hated. I think the Grace is pregnant story is stupid. Would have been more interesting for it to be Michaela from before she disappeared. Then that baby would be the one the major was looking for and they'd have to figure out how to keep them away from them. And they should never have had Jared and Lourdes get married. She could have been dating him, or even engaged and ended things when she came back. Now, he looks like a jerk for cheating and not caring that he lost his wife and close friend. Poor planning. Maybe that type of plot would have worked 10 years ago when he first came up with the story idea. But fizzles in today's age. Hopeful for a season 2, but also hoping they don't turn Jared into a permanent jerk.
  2. Does anyone else feel it's odd that the love triangles are no longer? Seems like a lot of build up for them to fizzle out. Danny disappeared and Lourdes left without a fight? Too easy. I'm sure Michaela will realize she's pregnant soon, but will keep it from him. Maybe their baby will end up being the real Holy Grail and not Cal?
  3. I wondered the same thing about the burning house!! I wasn't very impressed with the ending of this season. How can Emily feed the baby with her being breastfed? Is there formula hidden in the escape vehicle? I get June not wanting to leave Hannah there, but not knowing for sure that Holly and Emily are going to make it out? That would make me at least want to make sure one of my kids was fully safe from Gilead and go with them. After last year's attempt failing, I wouldn't feel 100% about this one working. I also agree that June would likely be killed immediately once she got back to town. Is she going to live in the woods and hide out now? Or sneak over to Emilys old Commanders house? He'd probably hide her out for a little while. The writers may have boxed themselves into a corner for season 3 it seems... and I hope they can make it work without the same stuff happening over again.
