  1. Oh, and just exactly what attitude is that? M for Marge Dolman....the red headed cutie at the hardware store. Dan's dream lover.
  2. If I had planned ahead with vacation time from work, I would have so done this. Wish I had!
  3. I for "Inherit the Wind" "Then it happened." "What happened?" "Becky....cut......the cheese."
  4. F for Free Samples..........in Thrilla Near the Vanilla Extract
  5. Finally! It's March 27th and FINALLY we get to see what in the hell the Conner's have been up to all these years. I'm way more excited for this than I care to admit. I've been harassed by family all weekend poking fun at my Roseanne love, and I could care less. My entire night is planned around having my butt planted firmly on my couch by 7:50 PM. I have high hopes, but at the same time, not expecting a lot either. Hopefully that's a happy medium.
  6. And this is why I hated Darlene and David getting married. That is exactly what this was. It was way too easy, obvious and I don't feel went with Darlene's character at all. The whole "Oh nooooo's, we're pregnant so let's get married!" thing was too forced.
  7. Z for Zero.....as in ZERO days until the new season of Roseanne!! (I realize this is lame, but Z sucks, and Ziggy had already been used.)
  8. I just watched this episode and the quote never fails to crack me up Jackie: Sorry I'm late, the baby kept me up all night Roseanne: Well, you married him.
  9. O for Oreo - since Roseanne is the Oreoooo-iest of them all!
  10. K is for Kiss - As in, when DJ didn't want to kiss his classmate in the play, or for the "BIG" kiss between Roseanne and Sharon
  11. H is for Harris Conner Healy, Darlene and David’s daughter.
  12. E is for ER, where Darlene went when her appendix burst.
  13. I might be the only one willing to play, but why not restart for the revival? A is for Apple, for the apple bob in Season 2's "BOO!" Added bonus quote: "Where are all the apples? Didn't we buy like a 100 apples? Can't I even have an apple in my own house!?"
  14. "You know, people who live in glass houses shouldn't EAT stones." I have no idea why I didn't make that connection sooner. With the limited amount of episodes (I secretly hope they choose to pick up another season or 2) it would have to be easily explained, and that's a way to do it. All of her other additions were resolved within an episode or 2, too. I would be ok with that.
  15. You know what, now that you mention Roseanne being the character with the addiction it's triggered something for me. Roseanne IS the most likely addict. Smoking, Bingo, Food......she has an addicts personality, and for that reason alone, it WOULD make perfect sense.
  16. From "We're in the Money": Perfume Saleswoman: Do you know what the fastest way to a man's heart is? Roseanne: Yea, thru his chest. From "Born to be Wild": Ziggy: Amazing, she's just like you! Darlene: I am not! I am nothing like her! Roseanne: Darlene, you are no more like me, than I am like my own mother. Darlene: Oh...God. From "The Pied Piper of Lanford": Ziggy: She digs my eyes. Roseanne: Well, red always was her favorite color. From "Goodbye, Mr. Right": Dan: We need to get you one of them biker names (to Gary) Gary: How about Psycho? Dan: No, we're saving that for DJ From "Boo!" Roseanne (to Jackie): Help me think of something that will really scare Dan (paraphrasing, I can't remember the exact wording) Jackie: Tell him you're pregnant. Roseanne: I don't want to kill him. I've been on a Roseanne binge for the last month to prep for the revival. I have so many quotes running thru my head it's ridiculous.
  17. Thank you! It's nice to have other Roseanne fans to talk with, finally!
  18. I have a few UO's. I absolutely love the 1st Season. I know that Roseanne was still coming into her acting capabilities then, but I still think it's fantastic. Most of my favorite episodes are from the first 2 seasons. One of my least favorite episodes is "Don't Make Me Over." I don't know that I've talked to anyone else that doesn't like that episode. I have a hard time not reaching thru the T.V and beating Darlene and Becky's heads together. The ending when Roseanne realizes it was all a front so they could con their way to a concert breaks my heart into pieces. Roseanne is a lot of things, but she loves her family fiercely, and they were being ungrateful little brats. I cannot stand Nancy. Not even with Arnie.
  19. I use this in real life, almost daily. It's my favorite go to. I haven't read all of the pages to see if this one has been brought up yet, but my favorite episode is "Toto, We're not in Kansas Anymore" and the part when Darlene scares Roseanne after the lights go out. Roseanne: That is not funny! You're grounded till menopause! Darlene: Yours or mine? Roseanne: Your father's! My 2nd favorite from that same episode: Becky: Can't we have her put to sleep? (About Darlene) Roseanne: We tried but the vet backed out.
  20. Long time listener, first time caller. Anyway, we are now LESS than a week away from the premier. I am SO excited to see what the Conner's (or Wagner's, depending who you ask) are up to. I absolutely hated late Season 8 thru Season 9, so for myself, forgetting most of that took place is going to be quite easy. They've been showing a lot more preview commercials and I smile like a loon thru all of them. Things I'm curious about: The stair chair is interesting. Every time I see that commercial 2 things pop into my head. Craft-matic Adjustable Bev, (probably from all the hell Roseanne and Jackie gave her) and when Roseanne threw her back out and yelled "I can't move and I don't even have one of those buttons!" It's going to be hard reconciling 30's - 40's Roseanne and Dan with 60's - 70's Roseanne and Dan. How political this will get. I understand the necessity this day and age, but address and move on. Don't harp. How Mark's death will be handled. Who has the addiction. This intrigues me a lot. At no point (other than the pot episode) were drugs ever really a major part of the show. It seems a bit odd to me that someone within the family would become addicted to drugs, but considering the opiate crisis, and Roseanne always making the show as realistic as possible to working class, they probably felt the need to include this. I like the idea mentioned further up that it could be David. It would explain his absence due to TBBT, and for whatever reason just seems more plausible to me. What will they choose to keep or ignore from late Season 8 to Season 9. I'm not a big fan of shoving time forward too fast, but come on Tuesday!
