At some point I saw somebody on Periscope mention an IGN live feed on YouTube, so I switched to that b/c it was higher res & a better perspective on the Once trio. I really want to watch it again, but I haven't had time too. Also, I had no idea that Scott Porter is so freaking hysterical.

Yeah, that NerdHQ panel was legit one of the best things ever. YNB tweeted "Go to Periscope NOW!" so I went to her channel and there was a few minutes of her peeking out from behind the curtain, going onstage and introductions of Retta & Scott Porter. I had it running on my iPad while I was surfing the Net on my Mac, barely paying attention to it, when suddenly I heard Colin's name. By the time Zach announced Jen, I was spazzing out so much and so busy trying to alert people that I completely missed that he then introduced Josh & didn't realize Josh was there for about another 5 minutes. LOL. Good times.

Not to mention Jen commenting during last SDCC about how Colin's Prince Charles pants were tight. "Just saying." If they can make comments like that to/about each other and it doesn't bother them, then it shouldn't bother anybody else. Friends tease each other. What a shock! Exactly! Crackship to your heart's content, just don't try to force that crackship on the writers and cast members. Head canon isn't canon. I can't deny, I'm amused that after a weekend of SQ shippers relentlessly begging for a selfie of Jen & Lana, Jen posted a pic of her and Colin.

Meanwhile, they talk about Lana's boobs all the time. But that's OK. SMH.

Here's at least a partial transcript of this Lana interview: “Being the hero/savior is not a role that [Regina] ever wanted. She wants to be happy but she doesn’t want to have to be like ‘be the sheriff or be the hero or be the savior for everyone’. That’s just not really her thing. So now she’s becoming that. And everyone’s going to turn to her for help. So she’s having to deal with … that.”

Oh, yeah, anything that's a blog post at one of those user-submitted sites is basically worthless opinion. Unfortunately, most people don't understand the difference between actual journalism, professional writing and a random post from a random person. It's all the same thing to them. Believe me, that fact upsets me to no end, given that I went to journalism school.

I'm pretty sure the person who asked the SQ question that irritated Jen was the StarryMag writer. The editor of StarryMag (whose Tweets you linked to) also writes for Huffington Post's blog section and has written several "articles" for them blasting Jen, Once and the entire fandom for being homophobes who bully SQ fans. In one of the pieces, she screencapped a tweet of Jen's and basically called her homophobic. She is VERY agenda-driven and, frankly, not too bright, because I'm not sure how deliberately asking loaded SQ questions and making Jen angry is supposed to help the SQ cause. IMO, she did way more harm than good to SQ with that stunt. I hope that StarryMag is not allowed anywhere near the Once pressroom next year. Jen's Twitter mentions were filled all day yesterday with seemingly every SQer begging for a selfie with her and Lana. It was not forthcoming. In case anybody doesn't realize that the online hate affects the actors, Sean referenced at SDCC the fact that he was doubtless gonna get more death threats on Twitter, and a girl who was at a M&G with Sean & Lana at the Brazil con Tweeted: Lana and sean talked about how there are ppl who hate them or want them dead which is why they don't share as much. They were + both a little teary eyed and comforted each other and Lana said sean gets it a lot and I was BEYOND PISSED

It's kind of funny, in a sad way, that A&E said they created this show to bring hope, and it's only made me more cynical about TV shows.

I mean, I KNEW they'd make St. Regina the new Savior, because TS, TW, but it sucks to have one's fears confirmed. I'm sure they'll have her be WAY better at this Savior business than that last pathetic excuse for a Savior. I can't find the link right now to post in the Spoilers Only thread, but in one of the interviews I watched this morning, Jen said that Emma would have a lengthy fight against the darkness before it totally consumes her.

Emma & Regina are flipping roles, so Regina is indeed the new savior.

Not that simple, as Lancelot was the one who first married Snowing by Lake Nostos, and he and Ruth tricked Snow into drinking the last of the water to cure her infertility.

A&E said in this video (beware spoilers) that they're making this season 10/12 eps instead of the usual 11/11 eps so the 100th ep can be the spring premiere.

It's A&E's fault for muddying the explanation by writing it the way they did to cater to SQ fans. Poor Jen.

Somebody in that panel actually asked Jen about Emma choosing Regina over Hook by sacrificing herself for Regina, and Jen was NOT amused.
