I have female cousins on my mom's side who are on the tall side. One of them married a guy who's at least 6'3". Their daughters are both around 5'10" and their son is 6'4". I'm squarely average height for a woman and I feel very short when I'm around them. Then I go stand next to my 5-foot mom and feel tall. :)

Plus Dan (well, John Goodman) is 6'2"(according to Wikipedia). I have a friend who is 5 feet tall, and her husband is maybe 5'7". Their older son has long been taller than her, and will almost certainly be taller than his dad, if he isn't already (I last saw him about a year and a half ago, and he was about my height (maybe slightly taller) at 13 years old; I'm 5'4" - right in the middle of my parents at 5' and 5'8"ish). Too soon to tell with their younger son. I have another friend who is 6 feet, and her husband is 6'3"; I'm curious to see how their kids will turn out (they're only 6 and 9 now and about average height for their ages, so hard to say). Genetics is fun. :)

Meal kits designed for their needs aren't a bad idea. Doesn't Dr. Now have support groups? Bringing in someone to conduct some basic cooking classes would be a good start, too.

I think her issue with grandma was just that she was actually paying attention to what Sarah was really eating and that frustrated her. We did sewing in 7th grade and cooking in 8th, too. I use "junior high" and "middle school" interchangeably, though the school I went to had "Middle School" in the name.

What kind of name is Wick? And they said it about a million times, too. Wick, Wick, Wick...stop saying Wick!! (Italicized part my actual thoughts during more than one scene.) Garcia really needs to learn when to stop talking. Didn't really buy Emily not thinking a woman would torture the guy. Haven't they seen it all by now? Why would that surprise her?

I was thinking the Houston humidity got it as soon as she went outside.

There was that obese-little-people-get-fit show (I don't know if that was TLC but it seems like it should be).

It bugs me that this goes to 10:05. Criminal Minds starts at 10, people! And why do they need two hours and 5 minutes for this, anyway?

Duggars, Little People, or Sister Wives? Decisions, decisions...

My mom used to make baked chicken with cream of mushroom soup which was then turned into a gravy. It's the only way I ever would have eaten anything mushroom as a kid (or now, for that matter). I liked the gravy but the bits of mushroom were always pushed to the edge of my plate.

Why get her all settled into the bed with the hair covered and all if they haven't even checked her weight yet?

I never did particularly like tater tots; that scene didn't help.

I'll give her a point for recognizing and admitting what she was doing, and actually asking the doctor for help. Most of them just deny it and hope he won't pick up on it.

"I'm so excited." As she sits staring blankly out the window. Tater tot casserole? Ew.

I was wondering if they sleep in the chairs, too. At the hotel with her sister she said she couldn't sleep in the bed.

I wonder if the people in charge of the show make her sign a release of some sort in case she steps on something and gets hurt.

I literally LOLed. That's Genevieve. She's usually barefoot. Which is stupid, given the work they're doing. I'd be surprised if she's never stepped on a nail or something.

Maybe mom should take some lessons from grandma.

"the furniture isn't here yet" You just got there. You haven't even taken off your jacket. At least the stairs will force her to get a little exercise...

Yeah. "We're working on that" = I'm gonna try not to be the one to move down here. Not that I really blame her.
