  1. This season is truly hilarious and chaotic. It's not only nice to see some fun being interjected instead of boring ass predictable weeks, it's fun to see this cast almost certainly HATE each other. When's the last time we had no solid alliances beyond Charlie/Maria and the cast going after each other in such an egoistical way? All of them trying to claim moves that might not be theirs, them trying to take control from other egos, players making bad mistakes because they can't predict what's going on? It's fun to watch, something we haven't seen in a long time. There's no true dominant alliance. The closest we have right now is Charlie/Maria, that's it. For me, it's fun to not really root for anyone and watch their bad gameplay spiral. Even the good players can't wrap their heads around the bad gameplay, so it makes for a fun season for me. I fully get why others will be annoyed with this season. I just like having nobody to truly root for and getting to watch mess and chaos reign. Q shoved Venus out of the 0 vote finalist spot quite quickly. Venus definitely has a better shot to win now than Q. But Q's issue is if he can actually GET to the end or if others will simply want him gone for continuously derailing the game. His inability to play the game and pissing people off is hilarious. Venus still sucks at the game, she also pisses people off but not to the extent Q has. She does have good perception of the game, she just has no ability to connect with people socially so she has no way of making a move without using an advantage of some kind. Liz getting mad about Q was hilarious, but I do think she has a point. Q derailed the next couple of days with his antics. The immediate discussions and even next Tribal became about Q, not Tevin's blindside. Liz did make that move, so I don't blame her for being upset. But she needs to realize that she needs that to be under the radar, so she can bring it up at FTC if she can get there. Hunter not playing his idol was ridiculous. He clearly knew something was up, was paranoid to mention his idol to make a move, and questioned people at Tribal. He should have played it. That was a massive blunder on his end. Tiffany messed up too, but she didn't toss out the playing her idol threat so last minute, so she had more time to gauge the situation AND they all knew she had it. Jeff's really matched the energy this season. It's weird, I gotta admit.
  2. My best guess? Ben goes out 5th (he feels like a fifth place boot), Liz loses to Kenzie in firemaking (I think Maria could win F4 immunity and stupidly bring Charlie, given how much she's about loyalty), and then we have Kenzie winning. I've seen speculation that we could have our first unanimous winner. That could be interesting, but with Charlie in F3, he'd have to have a disastrous F3 performance or he would have to do nothing for the rest of the game. So, if it's not unanimous, I could see a 7-1-0 for Kenzie-Charlie-Maria. I strangely think Liz could get a vote if she was in F3, or her bemoaning about the Tevin move she made being overshadowed by Q is foreshadowing that she gets no credit at the end for what really IS her move. The other option is Maria goes out 5th (she tries to take credit for getting Tiffany out, she's seen as an immediate threat by Kenzie and taken out), Ben's the F4 firemaking loser, and it's Kenzie-Charlie-Liz. But if that's the case, it can't be unanimous because no way Maria DOESN'T vote for Charlie to win. It's really tough to gauge which way it's gonna go.
  3. Hunter was the right move, but it sucks. He let paranoia get the best of him and showed that he had a lot of strategic weaknesses. In the end, he was too on the bottom to have had any sway with anyone, so he should have played his idol and then hoped he could find another one or win the next challenge. He should have taken note that everyone on the other end refused to look at him as a sign he was getting voted out.
  4. Damn. Smart move but they really risked it all.
  5. Honestly, Hunter should play it to be safe, but a good point was made: if every Tribal ends up this chaotic because of Q, it derails people's games. So is keeping the goat Q worth it?
  6. Q: I've been at the beach all day, talking to nobody! Ben: It's been nice! I love Ben.
  7. Not Jeff bringing a cushion and popcorn. And he gives it to everyone. AND LIZ CAN EAT POPCORN!
  8. Not Hunter just telling everyone about his idol. I thought he was smarter than this.
  9. Honestly, let Tiff and Hunter play their idols and get Q out. That's the smartest plan.
  10. I dunno, Kenzie might be in a good enough spot, and there's enough chaos in the game, where she might be ok. Typically, taking out an ally this early is stupid. But with huge egos of Q, Venus and Liz, and very clear duos and other threats, I think Kenzie has a shot to get away with this move and slip under the radar.
  11. Oh....OH, Kenzie wants Tiff out too. Holy crap.
  12. I kind of love Kenzie outright telling Q "I am not going to work with you, I don't care what you say right now."
  13. I definitely can see a successful idol play from him. The better question is, who would he target? And will anyone have split votes elsewhere? Maria wants Tiffany gone, Q still seems on the radar (and he'll talk himself back as a target soon enough), and even Venus is still up there as a possibility (given Hunter's "unkillable" description to Venus. So I can see one of Tiffany, Q or Venus leaving tonight.
  14. Oh wow, Hunter drops and Charlie wins immunity! Not surprised, Charlie looked steady the entire time. I'm glad Charlie proved Q (and everyone) wrong.
  15. Different circumstances, given they've been on the island, not eating a whole lot. It's possible Hunter can lose this.
  16. I mean, Hunter and Maria have both won one immunity challenge each so I'd say they all have a shot.
  17. Maria's also done quite well at these challenges. All three have an equal shot to win.
  18. Goodness, Jeff, he's really been matching the spiciness of the players this season. He's not holding back at all.
  19. Q and Venus are fighting to be in that third place spot, as I doubt both of them can't make F3. One, or both, are even gonna struggle to get to the finale since they're pissing people off.
  20. Maybe not. Remember, we got four hours of Bhanu and he still went early. My hope is that the egos can't handle the other egos in the game so the egos take each other out.
  21. So many players this season have huge egos. Q, Liz, Venus all have the biggest of egos.
  22. Liz doesn't realize that she WANTS to fade in the background and then bring it up at F3. Her own ego also can't handle not being the center of attention.
  23. Honestly, this might be the most fun I've had watching Survivor. Typically, all of these bad players would annoy me but there's something about this group that I find hilarious rather than frustrating. Bhanu was frustrating, but Q and Venus are just...funny bad. Somehow, Venus has become a slightly better contender to the end than Q. And that's saying a lot, given how everyone has stated how much they don't like playing with Venus. Q has managed to put himself in a solid "can never win" situation with his antics. At the very least, he's joined that placement with Venus. It's interesting to watch Q talk about how in control he is, how this is his game, how everyone should be playing his game. It does give me the impression that he's playing up a character. But the way he reacted at Tribal also gives me pause. Asking everyone to vote him out because he wants everyone to have a fresh start in the game not only makes it clear that Q wants to take back control, he believes the game revolves completely around him. By taking himself out and saying that the game will start fresh, it implies that him leaving resets the game. It's just fascinating to watch. We haven't seen characters like Q or Venus in a long time, especially not in the New Era. Their cockiness, arrogance and way of playing is just....refreshing. It's bad, it can be frustrating, but it's also hilarious, knowing they don't have a shot to win. And funny how Liz has emerged as a potential contender. The Tevin vote was fully on her, I give her credit for that. By sticking to her vote, it probably solidified the very shaky vote with Q's distraction at Tribal, but even before that with people unsure of who to vote. I do think that someone being adamant on sticking to a vote helps to direct other people to do the same. So good on Liz, she's went from also being a no chancer to having a slim chance to win. Fun stuff this episode, for sure. The Hide and Seek segment was hilarious, given's Q's "BIG MISTAKE" stuff with people either finding other players like him or hiding too well.
  24. Q falls in the Venus territory for me; both entertaining players to watch, but frustrating players due to their poor gameplay and inability to see how poor they are. I think Venus goes in the next couple of Tribals. I can foresee, once Q goes (and I think he goes next; he's not gonna be happy that he ALSO had no control over this vote and he's gonna piss people off) that Venus will be more in danger. I think people will see how dangerous Q was, and how they don't want Venus to skate to the end. Or Venus goes next week and Q follows her right after. But I do think we're getting the next two boots being Q and Venus in some sort of order. There's a small possibility that Hunter gets thrown in the mix too, because I think people will be intimidated by his challenge prowess. But this does make me feel a bit more certain that Tiffany's a late jury boot. I think she'll be able to skate by the next few Tribals, even after she was just in danger.
  25. Luckily, he shot his way to a win through the ground. Nobody respects him now. Even Liz can now win against Q.
