When Van Jones played that clip of Meghan’s dad taking away the microphone from the lady who called Obama an Arab, saying John McCain was standing up for “the best of America,” it made me think of Antonio Sabato’s comments on The View and how Meggy didn’t join Sunny and Joy in challenging his claims that Obama is a Muslim. Van Jones talked about courage on his show and in that moment on The View, Meggy showed how much courage she lacks. I know we’ve discussed this ad nauseum on the actual thread about that segment but that’s all I could think about as the clip played.

That’s why I said it was an interesting bit of information lol, I can’t see Sunny drinking that early, and bourbon no less. ?? I agree with you, I was more surprised that Sunny would be drinking bourbon so early, lol.

Meggy claims she has “vivid memories” of these super rich GOP politicians being called racists. I’m sure that was sooooo hard, Meggy. So sorry you had to go through that. ??

As I predicted yesterday, full of fluff and no hard-hitting questions. There was nothing of substance revealed during this interview. This has been discussed so many times. I think Joy asked her on The View, then Stephen Colbert and now Van Jones. I guess they don’t have much else to ask her.

The story is that her dad happens to be John McCain.

“Trump derangement syndrome” is probably another one of her failed attempts to take a stab at Joy.

This stood out to me as well. The fact that her father was the one who encouraged her to get out of the echo chamber that is Fox shows what a difference in open-mindedness there is between the two. We all know why she initially said no: she’s intimidated by those who challenge her political beliefs and it shows everyday on The View. Being around people who agree with her all the time is where she’s most comfortable. Unsurprisingly, there really wasn’t much substance during his entire interview with her.

I did too. She also said that her and Meghan go out for bourbon after the show. Interesting.

She also wears things that are very unflattering to her figure. That’s not me taking a stab at her body as I’m not a skinny gal myself but she should maybe find a different stylist because these outfits do her no justice. There are times when she looks cute on The View.

I don’t understand it either. The only possible reason I can think of is that they’re trying to create some Jerry Springer-type drama. I mean, Meggy did say on her very first day that her and Joy would never agree on anything and that she wanted to be the next Bitsy. Going after Joy, as we have all witnessed, is only making her look more and more like a fool so I say keep it up, Meggy.

I agree! I chuckle at the ongoing “stormy weather” joke. I don’t have anything against Monica Lewinsky but as April Ryan pointed out, it’s over and done with. Why this is still a conversation, I’m not sure. New Rules was funny this week! “Stop using the same two pictures in those ‘signs of a troubled relationship’ articles. I don’t even need to read the article. If my partner is sitting on the edge of the bed while I’m out of focus in the background, it’s over!” LOL they do use very similar pictures for those kinds of articles. On Trump’s reading skills during the state of the union address: ”The man is an afternoon special waiting to happen. He read so slowly they had to set the TelePrompTer speed to Schatner.” (LOL. he goes on to say): “You can tell Trump has not taken IN new information for decades because he’s always saying, most people don’t know that... about things that most people do, in fact, know.” Clips of Trump using the catchphrase play, including two of my favorites: ”Most people don’t know that Abraham Lincoln was a Republican!” ”Nobody knew healthcare could be so complicated!” LOLOLOL. Yeah, nobody but the almighty Trump knew any of this, ladies and gentlemen. Still makes me laugh seeing those old clips. Overall, much better show tonight.

I don’t see this happening, at all. I think maybe they want to keep her until her dad passes away.

Saw this online: "Who, by the way, is a friend of mine" better be on Meghan's tombstone. LOL!

Oh darn, how could I possibly forget?! She's political expert Meghan McCain, y'all! Anytime I want to know what's going on in the world of politics, I look up what Meghan McCain has to say about it. =)
