Ron is a shit writer. Always was. OLTL had the BEST female cast in Daytime IMO with powerhouses like Strasser, Evans, DePaiva, Haskell, Smith, Goldsberry, etc but he wrote women HORRIBLY. He butchered them and made it the John McBain hour. Kudos to those ladies for powering through but they can only do so much when the writing constantly works against them.

Just popped in to say it was great to see Ty again and I’m already rooting for him to take down the Dimeras. Hope he’s not wasted on Abby. I think he would work better with someone like Chloe. And DAMN Brady and Eve were all kinds of HOT. LOVE Eric and Kassie together. Glad she’s finally got a capable leading man.

I don't even consider them a supercouple. Supercouples died in the 90's. Soaps just don't have the writing or fanfare anymore to warrant it.

Kassie/Eve looked SO GOOD today <3 and Vivian's entrance... Boy was that ever Ron. Her part of the whole episode reminded me of when Ron wrote Irene with the pepto bismal on OLTL... Lol. He loves the camp (too bad I never did).

Although I liked AM, I didn’t think he and KDP had much chemistry at all.

I feel your pain. Franco has got to be the most useless, most loathesome character on GH and is in constant need of proppage. I feel bad for these vets. It sucks. I just wish they'd get rid of Roger.

Popping in to say how much I LOVED the Jason/Sonny/Carly scenes yesterday. Love the use of history in those scenes. Such a deep friendship with those three. I love it. Laura looked pretty and loved seeing Lulu as her little cheerleader. The Grava/Julexis/Curtis xmas was a snoozer IMO. Griffin continues to have zero personality. Julian continues to be a creep. And Alexis continues to be weak AF. The Friz scenes. CRINGE. OMG that product placement - Roger + ham. Ughhhh glad it was just one day. Too bad Cam and Aidan had to be locked in the attic on Xmas.

I can't explain how hard I rolled my eyes when Ron wrote the whole "Chelsea"/"Blair" reference. Blair is my all time fav soap character and I DESPISED this. Typical Ron bullshit. So what - Chelsea and Blair weren't even their own characters? They were just aliases of Eve?! FUCK that SHIT.

You may not have missed them but tons of fans did. Like it or not, Mo and Steve are two of the most popular actors on the show with the biggest fanbase. I don't need to justify their success. It speaks for itself. Roger and Michael, OTOH... Anyway, I will agree nobody deserves to dominate and the show should be well rounded and focused on plenty of vet characters,. My point is I KNOW Frank and his bullshit long since OLTL and I KNOW he caters to certain people and the show will never be balanced or even decent under him so any focus on the vets rather than his piss poor pets is a good thing. They have anti-chem. Then again, I've yet to see ME have chemistry with any living thing.

I never mentioned those other actors so I don't know why you're bringing them up. I happen to agree with you that they have earned their spot and it is a shame they are not valued by TPTB. My point was Roger and Michael never earned anything on GH. They just have the fortune of having an EP who has a hard-on for OLTL and caters to them in every way despite the fact that they have never given even a decent performance on GH. Steve has been amazing in his return and can emote so much with just his eyes. Michael is like a robot. Mo has also delivered great performances (like during Morgan's death) while the only thing Roger can do is give a smart ass delivery. Like it or not, Jason and Sonny are 2 of the show's most popular and iconic characters in GH history and Franco and Finn are amongst the show's worst. Roger and Michael have contributed NOTHING to justify their continuing presence on the show. If not for Frank (the only EP in the world who actually sees something in those one trick ponies), they'd be the first ones gone. Meh. I lost count of how many vets they let go to make room for the OLTL invasion so I don't feel bad at all those flops are being cut to actually bring one of the show's most popular stars back where he belongs seeing as those he never should have been pushed out to begin with. I'd much rather MB and SB rule the show than ME and RH.
