  1. I had the impression that Evelyn's parents had married really young, but 21 and 24 is not unreasonable at all, especially 20 years ago. Makes it even more odd that they were on board with the whole teenage wedding. Especially when Evelyn does not come across as someone mature beyond her years.
  2. I'm almost glad that I don't have to watch these weirdos anymore. The David and Annie segments make me feel icky. Same with Molly and Luis. No respect for Molly after she had him come back. Is it possible Chris paid all of the wedding attendees to be there? Anyone else find it odd that Josh/Aika and Andrrrrei/Elizabeth ended up looking like basically normal couples? Maybe I have just developed some strange new criteria for 'normal' after watching so many seasons of this show.
  3. Nicole, you're never going to live in Morocco so just stop with that threat.
  4. Birth control is an excellent answer for avoiding most issues, whether married or living with a dude.
  5. If I remember correctly from previous seasons, the cheating happened before they ever met in person. I'm not condoning cheating whatsoever, but is "cheating" on an online boyfriend of a few months whom you've never actually met really cheating? More concerning is the taking off her ring and going out with another guy after they met, but the whole storyline is just way overblown.
  6. A few observations/questions from the David/Annie fiasco: 1. Why was Annie sitting in the grass? 2. Why was David wearing a suit? 2a. Does David's outfit determine his personality? Suit = sober asshole, black or white droopy outfit = drunk asshole, red droopy outfit = water-buffalo shopping 3. Did David kick Annie out or did she demand to go to Chris and Nikki's? 4. Will I be strong enough to fast-forward through their scenes?
  7. Good points and I can't argue with any of them. Maybe I really just hate to see that slimeball profit off of this whole situation, but you're absolutely right. Molly could have stopped this at any time. I do wonder if his weirdness started after they legally tied the knot, but it really doesn't matter because she shouldn't have brought such a question mark into her home in the first place.
  8. I'm not proud to admit this, but I teared up during the dinner scene with Josh's parents. I think it is because everyone looked like actual human beings, and the emotions really didn't seem manufactured. I really liked Josh's mom and I do think she was touched at Aika's reaction to his pain. I still don't like Josh, but he seemed like a real person on this episode. And perhaps Aika now understands better why Josh is so hesitant about kids. Although I don't like people making excuses for not being there for their kids. Of course, I have a stupid cold and possibly PMS so my judgement is questionable at best.
  9. I'm not surprised Molly and Luis were already married. The preview from last week where she said Luis didn't have to go back to the DR was the major clue, and then I started thinking about previous episodes and it all made sense. If they're indeed broken up, I don't know how easy it will be to get an annulment (see Danielle and Mohammed). The difference with Molly is that she has a successful business and nice home that she most likely owns, so divorce might be devastating for her financially. Even with her obvious stupidity during this whole situation, I would hate to see this ruin what she's worked so hard for.
  10. I agree, I don't see anything at all that indicates an issue, although I'm not an expert. Kensley actually seemed kind of excited when Luis first got there and was chatting with him a lot. Everything seemed to change when she was drawing with chalk and he was telling her he was her new dad. I'm sure editing plays a big role, but to me it looked like she accepted him as "Luis" until he tried to say he was her dad. Kids that age know who is what and "Luis" was his role until he tried to change it to "dad", who already exists.
  11. Didn't she refer to him as the Dominican Ryan Gosling or some such nonsense in the trailer?
  12. I thought Elizabeth missed and kissed his nose instead of his lips.
  13. Totally agree, and it is excruciating to say but Josh was the less awful person in this argument. They do deserve each other, but she was going way too far with that crap about him being "cut" and destroying his manhood.
  14. I didn't see your post before I posted basically the same thing.
  15. Not that it matters, but I wonder if David's kids have the same mom? Snooki looks like her dad, but his son didn't look anything like him or his sister. I know that can happen when people have the same parents (obviously), but I was just curious.
  16. Josh and Aika deserve each other. They're both delusional and disregard facts that are right in front of them. I do agree the doctor was over the top, though. Luis is a disgusting human being. He gets off on pushing other people to their limit. The sight of him on TV actually repulses me. I don't see how that argument could have been production-driven. It was just too incredibly random and bizarre. I'm sick of bachelor/bachelorette party drama. Every season there is at least one couple with this same tired argument. It's boring.
  17. I'm not aware of too many things, I know what I know, if you know what I mean
  18. Lots they could/should discuss...fears, insecurities, things you've heard, things you've wondered about, physical aspect, emotional aspect, religious/spiritual aspect, birth control, children, closeness, desire, trust...
  19. I read this as "having huge snakes."
  20. It really is a 10 year commitment. I married a foreign spouse and I am legally financially responsible for 10 years (with a few exceptions/circumstances). We didn't do a K1, but either way the 'sponsor' is on the hook for 10 years. What I'm not 100% on is what happens if the couple divorces within the 2 years that the spouse is on the conditional green card. Or, if the foreign spouse obtains citizenship between years 3 and 10.
  21. I wish I could like this comment 582 times. I laughed incredibly hard.
  22. It kinda reminded me of that Golden Girls episode where they're talking about their "firsts" and Rose asks "That first time, didn't it seem like a ridiculous thing to do?"
