I am really hoping we'll see a little more of Carole in the future. I doubt we will, but I liked her a lot.

So, was anyone else wondering if Matthew would be different when he got pot smoke blown into his face? I thought he'd be kinda' fun high!

Meg. I do have a pair of CS shoes that came from Payless. I wore them one time - far too high for me. I had them in the donate pile, and my dog has now adopted them (or at least one) as part of her "Things I Like to Carry Around" collection.

She has two friends? Can't wait...

Is this the female version of Steven what's-his-face? Nasty, delusional and hateful.

In the midwest, the CC/JC do indeed give scholarships. Many, in fact. Around here, many are in small towns, so have dorms, etc. and actively recruit kids who are decent athletes, but may just need a little more time to grow before going NCAA, who need academic support, etc. One of my daughter's best friends went to one on a cheer scholarship for two years - she then went to an NAIA 4-year school and cheered, getting her BSN there.

I feel like I remember from S1 several of them getting more than one associate's degree

David's Bridal has almost that exact same dress this year in its special occasion collection. Not original. Kristina did mention something about having had to drop out of school due to a nervous breakdown. Sure hope history doesn't repeat itself.

Snark Talk: Home, Home on the (De) Ranged

I have to admit to having a couple of her things. I like the color, which my kitchen desperately needs. I needed a smaller rectangle pan, and got hers that was in a set with a 9x13. They're pretty and bright and have held up well. I also have some kitchen towels that are (I think) hers. Again - wanted the bold colors. -
Is he? We all know he likes grossly oversized proportions - does that happen with how he represents his professional success too?

I thought it was funny when Octavio said that he and Geoffrey ran in the same circles & dressed the same people. Um, I don't really buy that. Then when the judges were questioning his look, he started to get pissy. Time to go!

While I liked the overall look, and was impressed by FOUR pieces that were well done, I was really underwhelmed by the shoes. To me, they looked like something you'd see at Walmart - plastic-y, unfinished. And I love some edgy shoes, but quality please! Shantall's red dress was lovely - would look amazing on many, many women, and showcased the jewelry well. Prajje's dress was beyond elegant. Nina said it tended towards costume, but I think a lot of that was styling. Put that dress without the gloves (which were beautiful if unrealistic) and head wrap, with a great shoe and current hair/makeup, any woman could kill it. Love some vintage classics. Anna's gown with the amazing jewelry was simply stunning. I cannot think of many women who wouldn't love that. I could see that on a red carpet easily. Bones's dress was not stellar. There was way, way too much going on. Too much fabric, too many gimmicks. I got the water vibe, but it looked more like water during a hurricane, not the kind of water you'd like to be in. Octavio is a one-noter. Tall hat that looks like the Three Stooges would wear it, massive ruffles. I also think he is a snake. Hope they don't do any more partner challenges so someone else doesn't get hexed by him. Katie - BYE FELICIA! Agree that she just got onto the wrong show. She cannot design for anyone but herself, and I really don't know that there would be a market for her look. Maybe for the Japanese streetwear enthusiasts who suddenly find themselves with children and in a religion that mandates frumpy clothes?

I was horrified by several of the looks. The worst was that monstrosity that Octavio had on his head. WTF! It looked like something a preschooler would have made for a school program. Dude - stop trying to make fetch happen. I get that he's into avant garde streetwear, but when the challenge is to make something for someone to wear for a specific situation, you failed. And don't try to drag Rainbow Brite under the bus. She'll get there just find on her own.

WTAF??? Kat is on Show Group? Even she thought it was a mistake from her expression.
