This show is based on votes, so that is how it should be all game. You're right that it probably wouldn't have changed the outcome, but it would be nice if the fire-making challenge would go away.

Yeah, I'm disappointed too. I was shocked Gabler got the majority of the votes to win. Thought there were going to be more votes for Cassidy. Gabler is an okay winner, but I wish we saw more of his gameplay. Can we please get the entire pre-merge boots for the aftershow with everyone else? I hope there is a future season where they can do that.

I'm glad that Cody is finally gone, but I'm wondering why he gave his idol back to Jesse. He should have kept it. Couldn't stand Cody anyway. Everyone will want to get rid of Jesse now. He still has Jeanine's idol. Still rooting for Cassidy, but Jesse's game is very impressive, and he could go all of the way.

The only way I see Jesse losing is if he goes out in the fire making challenge. If he makes final 3, he will be the winner, hands down. I don't think Owen or Gabler have a chance. Cassidy might, only if Jesse isn't there. I can't see Karla winning anymore. I agree that production would love a Jesse win. If not Jesse, then I'm not sure.

I'm tired of it, too. Do they ever say why they target her all of the time?

Cody could be lying to Karla about going to the Final 4 with her just to blindside her somehow. Would her idol come back in the Final 5?

Even though Sami had his family moment at the beginning of the episode, which was probably a hint that he was going, I was still so nervous for Cassidy tonight. So thankful she survived another vote. I'm seeing a Jesse/Cody or both making it to the end. I'm really surprised more people aren't targeting or looking at them to be voted out. They must be hiding their partnership well. That was an epic challenge, and kudos to everybody for hanging in there underwater for so long. Very impressive.

Bummer that Noelle was voted out. She kicked ass in that reward challenge, though. I was really hoping Jesse would go tonight instead. Jesse came off too cocky with the whole "how to blindside somebody" checklist. Not necessary. Nobody else to root for, maybe except Owen and Cassidy.

I'm thinking the "boatmail" might be an advantage in getting to skip part of the next immunity challenge. I don't know why that would be in this upcoming episode, though.

I'm actually pulling for Cassidy to win this. She won individual immunity tonight and had some positive confessionals.

Betting Gabler's plan goes awry, and he or Owen is voted out next. The way this season is going, it's probably safe to assume.

James going was long overdue. Good Riddance. Him and his scratchy voice can stew over there in the jury. I was nervous for Cassidy, but thank God she was spared. At least Ryan was more gracious in his exit. Still love Noelle. Nice use of her steal a vote to get the ball rolling of the blindside of James. Glad to see that Karla pulled off immunity with a hand injury. For Cody winning immunity... whatever.

Here's hoping Cody or Jesse get booted next week, but it's probably a misdirect.

Even if they were going after Owen, if Owen does have Noelle's steal a vote or Noelle has it, and if James guesses wrong, and one of them do use it, Owen and Noelle would have three votes to the other two in the group of 5.

Yeah, I'm not really feeling this season much either. Now Jeanine goes, not shocking at this point. Jeanine could have been safe if Jeanine, Owen, Noelle, Noelle using her steal a vote, Gabler, and Cassidy voted the same way. Rooting for Noelle and Cassidy now. Owen is the only guy left that is actually likable.

I don't follow anyone's social media, but is anybody besides Cassidy, showing activity? I can definitely see this season being viewed as not one of the greatest. I wonder if that "quit" actually happens and who is it and what causes it?

It's most likely the same as it was the last couple of seasons where they are split into two groups. Having the 7 come after each other would be interesting to see. Here's hoping Owen, Noelle, and Gabler come through the next vote intact.

I wonder if Sami does break from the other side and causes a shift in numbers or all of this talk amounts to nothing at all.

I still can't stand Cody or Gabler. As the last two standing in the immunity challenge, didn't matter who won because both are insufferable. Was hoping James or Ryan would get booted so Cody wouldn't get his way. Always enjoy seeing Noelle compete. She truly is a competitive warrior. Glad she survived another vote tonight.

I don't care what anyone says, I like Elie. Her game was messy, but I enjoyed seeing her play. She at least owned how she got voted out and owned the mistakes she made while playing the game. I wouldn't mind seeing her play again someday. I think she'd do better.

I've been hearing rumors of Karla going deep into the game and that Cassidy might win.

Another woman voted out. Only one man voted out in the pre-merge phase. Here's hoping the women can come together and somehow get a man out. Elie played too hard. At least she was eligible to be voted off and no stupid "twist" got her out. I liked Elie, I thought she was going to go farther than she got. Jeanine should have played her idol on Elie, that probably would have gotten James out. There is really nobody to root for at this point. Karla and Cassidy, I guess. Everybody else is just, meh.

I wonder why Dwight would tell anybody about an advantage hidden under the shelter. If only he knows about it, why not grab it when nobody's looking? Unless Dwight is telling his alliance about it. I hope all of this talk about Noelle calling the shots is a misdirect. I don't want her to go. Gabler needs to go, he's become unbearable.

Finally, a man goes home. That was a satisfying boot. I don't know why Ryan and Geo thought that Cassidy was such a threat that they were targeting her. Glad that Cassidy survived the vote tonight. Too bad Ryan didn't go, but the smart choice was Geo because of his advantage. Karla is playing this game smart. Bye, Geo. What made this episode even better was not even one Cody talking head. Hope this continues.

It seems a little early for a merge already. Could be a fake merge or someone goes out before the merge actually happens?
