  1. Maybe it was just my imagination but when Katie hugged Brooke and it showed her face, it looked like Katie did a small little grin. I'm hoping that she already knows that Bill and Brooke are hooking up and she's going to pull a Sami Brady on them.
  2. Yes, respect the marriage. That's the only honorable thing to do! Just because Liam wants to be with his brother's wife, he should just suck it up and be a man! Bill would never disrespect his wife by being with his wife's sister. Oh, wait!
  3. What I would like in the Maya, Rick and Nicole (the virgin) storyline is that they would take a plot point from the telenovela and have it turn out that Nicole was impregnated with the wrong donor eggs and sperm. That would add a little levity to the show.
  4. I know this is probably an unpopular opinion but I believe Thomas raped Caroline. If it's rape when a frat boy roofies a girl and does whatever he wants to her, then this was rape. Maybe it's because I grew up with a mother who was raped as a young woman and seeing the way it affected her life but, dang it, if you're unable to give consent, it's rape. Then you have to decide whether you believe a rapist should be given parental rights to a child that comes about because of the rape. I don't believe they should. On top of that, as far as I can see, Thomas has no remorse for his actions. Thomas is just creepy! They had him stalking Caroline from the minute he raped her, even going so far as to show up for ultrasounds and the like that should be private. This show seems to have a skewed opinion as to sex and love. Lust and sex does not a great love make! They ruined Katie for me when they had her get into everyone else's business and force this issue. Brooke was bad enough but this was beyond the pale. Then they made Ridge and Caroline "stoopid" to even respond to her with anything other than "It's none of your business." As my Granny used to say, "the characters in this show don't have the sense God gave a flea!"
  5. NOW, I understand why so many posters can't stand Katie!
  6. Any video online for this? Sorry to be so ignorant but just came back to Days from about a 30-year layoff after OLTL canceled.
  7. Just to get it off my chest: So what if Brooke regrets telling Bill she loves him and he's the love of her life (especially where Katie could overhear her). The ONLY reason to do something like that to any "husband" (let alone your sister's husband and one you've already "stolen" from her once to boot) is to try and get him to leave his wife and be with you. Any fool would know that and even though I don't think the characters on this show are very bright to begin with, that is really STOOPID! I've only been watching this show for a little over a year, but I find Katie a much more sympathetic character at the moment and her reaction to hearing Brooke tell Bill that is much more believable that Brooke's telling him in the first place and Eric (must be dementia) saying Katie's reaction isn't Brooke's fault. Of course Bill would tell Brooke it's not her fault, heck, he's probably counting the days to getting back in her pants. Wyatt, where do I start? Since I've been watching I don't think he's even dated anyone that Liam hadn't already dated. It's almost like he wants Liam to break them in for him. What?? Give me a break!! That smashes the Bro Code, even between friends. I realize there aren't many eligible women around BUT c'mon. Even for a soap opera, that's pretty gross. It'll be hilarious if Liam hooks up with Quinn - then what will Wyatt do? Incest, anyone? In fact, I don't think a corporation or two could possible survive with that many clueless people working for them, let alone in charge. Steffy won't let Liam explain and then, because it's been an entire day, sits around half-naked with Wyatt in the bed so they can go to sleep and when Liam gets back he can find them together. Liam gives her a chance to explain but after "days" of giving her hints, she doesn't see what she could have possibly done to make him upset. He should have told her he saw them in bed together. How many people do you know that would be able to not mention it? I don't know any. Don't even get me started on Maya, Nicole, Zende and Sasha. I can understand Nicole asking Rick to un-hire Sasha much more than I can everyone else being mad at her and her feeling guilty enough to ask him to hire her back. For crying out loud, if I were Maya and Sasha had confronted me over it, I would have just told her I wasn't going to stand around idle while she tried to take over my boyfriend and the rest of my life without fighting back. It was obvious that's what she was up to. OK, rant's over. Maybe I'll just change the channel and quit letting the writers aggravate me. Criminy!
  8. To "quote" Saturday Night Live: Abby, "you ignorant slut!"
  9. If he's going to break up with her, Liam shouldn't be alone with Steffy. He should at least make sure there are no rocks or electrical conduits around! He should have learned that much from Ally and Ivy! Thankfully the men in my life aren't this clueless.
  10. I'm going to have to stop watching because I get so angry watching this show I want to through things at the TV. I find whiney Stephanie (why do all of these terrible things keep happening around me? Because you cause them, bitch!) totally unsympathetic, unlikeable and, frankly, unredeemable. As far as Thomas, he just gets skeevier and creepier everyday. Must stay at hospital instead of letting Wyatt have a little privacy with Ivy? Stalkery much! He already makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up but now I believe his photo belongs in the dictionary next to the words rapist and pedophile. Brother and sister are both complete ruined for me. IMHO, the only thing skeevier they could do at this point is sleep together.
  11. Stephanie ... unintentional serial killer. Guess that's a little more interesting that the self-righteous self-satisfied overly done royal B that she usually is. But ... not much.
  12. Is there any possible way to make Thomas more unlikeable. Me thinks not!
  13. I was hoping that when all the Prospect Park stuff was cleared up and went away, that we would find out "Franco" was really Todd Manning. I know Todd isn't popular with most of you, but he is with me, LOL, and he beats a serial killer. Todd at least had remorse for his wrongs and tried to do better. They could say he looked like Franco so Helena brainwashed him into being "Franco" to screw with everybody in Port Charles. Compared to most of the leading male characters on this show, Todd wouldn't appear to be a "Bad Guy", just ornery. He doesn't even have to be Todd, he could be some new character. Then they could give custody of Avery to Ava and she could turn over a new leaf (saved by her darling daughter) and be more like Carly was on ATWT. Always getting into wild schemes then getting her comeuppance and being good again for awhile until some scheme comes to her mind. This show definitely needs someone who isn't goody-goody but at least feels remorse for the bad things they end up doing and gets some kind of punishment for their wrongs, even it is just public humiliation or something. I probably should have put this in unpopular opinions but who reads that (ha-ha). They're called unpopular for a reason. That means about the only people who read that thread are the ones with unpopular opinions who post to it, right?
  14. Thomas still creeps me out, especially when he's sneaking around (if you can call it sneaking when you don't care who sees you) and spying. If I met Thomas in real life, I'm betting he'd be one of those men that makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up.
  15. Thank you for saying what I was thinking. I wondered why no one had mentioned all the changes a pregnancy causes your body. I know that it sounds shallow, but aren't most of us fairly shallow at Nicole's age? Besides there are lots of changes besides just stretch marks and weight gain. There is no way I could have done it at that age. I actually had fertility problems and I would not take a chance asking my virgin sister to be a surrogate for me, having something go wrong, and losing her love and respect forever or causing her to go through what I did. It's not worth it. Besides they have other options. Their DNA doesn't seem that great to me, LOL! Also, I don't think I would be able to give the baby up after bonding with it nine months. I know it sounds silly, but I have a hard time giving up a found puppy if and when the owner comes forward.
  16. I'm late checking in but wasn't Ben in trouble in Florida? Maybe he killed whoever Clyde is being blamed for killing? That would make a lot more sense than having to share Abigail's golden cooter drove him to it. They could make it so that Ben was doing serial killings in Florida but almost getting caught caused him to flee and lay low until the crazy caught up to him again in Salem.
  17. It's not really a story line but more an overall theme that I loved. The friendship between Felicia and Cass [and Wallingford]. I've never seen another soap play the friendship as real and well as Another World did with these guys. Carly is supposed to be a best friend to Jason on General Hospital but it doesn't even come close. More soaps should try the Another World approach. Men and Women CAN be friends and still be interesting.
  18. I've wondered if all belly holding is because of the padding they use to simulate pregnancy. Maybe it shifts around if they're not careful and they're trying to keep it in place.
  19. If it turns out that Paige was killed by Clyde, at Clyde's behest, or that Clyde is the serial killer, then it's Eve's fault because she's the one that told Kyle that JJ was undercover. What the heck did she think would happen? That they'd just kill JJ and no one else would be in danger? I love KDP and I loved Blair but, IMHO, DOL is making Eve pretty much irredeemable.
  20. Can Steffy and Liam get any more self-centered? Of course the only reason Ivy and Wyatt are doing this is because they were both rejected by Steffy and Liam. Having one of them reject you would put anyone over the edge. Give me a break!
  21. I think I'm going to have to take a break from this show. They're trying to make Steffy look virginal and innocent. I haven't even watched this show that long (this is my first taste of Steffy for longer than a couple of days) but the few days I did see her before (trying to "blackmail" Liam into dumping Ivy, etc. in order to get her cooperation with the takeover) were enough to convince me that she was a conniving, desperate, royal B who thought of no one but herself, let alone what was best for the company. Puleez!
  22. I still don't think Steffy has a leg to stand on about Ivy blackmailing her being wrong when she just blackmailed Wyatt to erase the video. Just because he didn't do it, doesn't change the fact that it's still blackmail. As far as today's show, Ivy should just go to the police and upload the video to the internet or at least send it to all the Forrester employees while she's at it. If Steffy says she broke their agreement Ivy could just say that she thought Liam spoke for Steffy and told her to do it, so she complied. I really hate that they are throwing Ivy under the bus to prop up Liam and Steffy. I wish TPTB would take advantage of a new and popular character like Ivy to get out of the "Many (or is it 2?) Loves of Liam" rut and think up some new SLs.
