I think when you have been taught that your only role in life is to produce children, and you 'failed' at your first attempt your mindset instinctively would be to show the world you have been successful .....look see, I did it, I did what I was told I had to do, I made sperm and egg meet up, created a baby and now I am going to show you ever opportunity I can that I am a good incubator because that is how I and everyone I know validates me as a good human being.

I forgive the 6 MONTHS announcement, it appears to be a thing if my Facebook, Instagram, and twitter feed is anything to go by....my oldest niece pretty much announced each month anniversary with a wedding picture up until the their first anniversary, until my sister had a word with her and told her to grow up 😂. These two look 'loved' up, they look like if they had been given the opportunity to actually get to know each other the same way normal people can they would have hooked up. I believe this relationship.

My parents must have been terrible parents , we were barefoot and fancy free in the wilds of middle east with dirt, rocks, snakes, scorpions, glass and all sorts of things......and we survived, so I am less outraged by the picture, I think it's a lovely picture of kids playing out doors, exploring their surrounding and not plonked in from of a teevee or a computer.

I wear a full face of makeup everyday, primer, foundation, concealer, bronze, blush etc etc, yes I know I have too much time on my hands but it makes me happy and basically I feel like 'me' when my face is on 😂. This look is 'instagram ready', from the contouring, the inner eye highlight, the brows etc. While it is a bit much, if she was having a treat and wanted to 'done up' then I can imagine they went all out. I had my makeup done at Sephora last year, holy man I thought my face was going to fall off with the weight of all the products...I looked plastic...however, I loved the experience, it gave me a chance to compare how I do my makeup compared to the 'professional' and it made me feel glamorous for a few hours but I knew walking around that I was over the top. So for the second day in row (what is happening to me) I am defending one of the duggarettes......

Ugh where do I start....... Try as I might to not to feel sorry for Jill reading that diatribe from Derrick I can't, I want to give that poor woman a hug and I now need a shower, a stiff drink and some form of mind altering drug. 'The one' is not a description of a perfect human being, it is a description of 'the one' that makes your heart skip the light fantastic at the mere thought of them, it makes your belly feel like a kaleidoscope of butterflies are fluttering in the pit of your stomach, it makes you see passed all their foibles and imperfections and love that person even more because of them. 'The one' doesn't make life and the world perfect, but 'the one' helps you get through the daily battle and sits with you at the end of the day and says 'we made it through another day'. Do people settle, yes, is everyone lucky enough to meet 'the one' no, does that mean that the person you are with is any less of a person because they are not 'the one' no. However what makes you an extra special Ahole is when you feel the need to publicly announce to the world, that the person who has committed to you in front of thousands of people and your God, provided you with public platform, children and finances to allow you to not hold a decent job for years, is not 'the one'.......I am heartbroken for Jill and beyond repulsed with Derrrrrrick.

As a paying student I would be pissed if someone who hadn't paid tuition was consistently sitting in classes, it is disruptive and disrespectful.

Joy needs a decent bra to get those girls to behave, the dress would fit her better and I think look pretty, in a country cowgirl/farm girl way. As for the bare feet, I am guilty, any and I mean any chance I can get to not wear shoes I will, inside or outside, my shoes are off as much as possible, and I am barefooted.

Whoa that clip of them on the morning talk show, I don't even think they like each other let alone love each other. The blatant lack of chemistry, and zero compassion or empathy shown by Josiah is heartbreaking. I am sorry even if someone I didn't know was talking about something and got very obviously upset I would comfort them, even just a hand gesture or at least focus on them.

21 years and nope never called him hubby, mind you I used to call him Honey waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back you know when you used to gaze into their eyes & be lost dreaming of being whisked away on a white stallion galloping along the oceans edge with your hair flowing behind you......1 month into the relationship I called him by crude names (nothing endearing) & he would sit on the couch, fart and scratch and here we are 21 years later.

We can all be hyper critical of Anna and what we see and perceive as bad choices, parenting skills, and unfathomable loyalty to Smuggar but we are looking at it from a position of logical, free thinking position IMHO. Anna has been raised in a cult like environment, indoctrinated from birth about headship, birthing as may spawn as possible, and the wrath of GOD. Her brain more than likely didn't even compute that she should consider her position, that she might have the option of leaving, that having a baby with a serial adulterer who assaulted his sisters after she was made aware of his offences was an option. If you are brainwashed to the point your are subservient to your 'headship' and I believe even more so to Boob, you don't have the brain capacity to question. When all the people that you know and surround you are pulling in one direction do you question everything you know? you trust them, they, you believe, have your best interests at heart as they are after all your family, headship, and are Godly people. She knows no better - and that is how Boob likes it and wants it. I would say she has behaved exactly like Boob would want one of his own girls to behave and I can only imagine how 'proud' he is of her, and smug he is in his choice of such a virtuous bride for Smuggar.
