I remember in one episode (maybe season 8 or 9?) Kelli was flipping through applications and it was Kelli Q's picture with an email attached to it. I actually paused it to read it because the email was clear as day and it was from Kitty, totally praising Kelli and talking about how great she was. So yes, Kitty most definitely gets in their ear! But it still doesn't explain why Kelli overlooked her all those years of auditioning...

I never understood why they take certain girls either. Rose was not attractive at all and had acne on her chest. And Karissa. Omg. I just don't get it. Her "makeover" did nothing for her. I'm pretty sure Kelli even said she looked "less trashy". Not exactly a compliment there. And when Neal made a comment during deliberations about Maddie and her non-Dcc look that a makeover "won't change her face". Ouch.

I liked Lauren before, but I totally fell in love with her during this episode! She seems so genuine and kind hearted. Loving the new studio. The pictures behind the dancers we're kind of distracting though. I found myself pausing it a lot just to see who was in them lol Loved the alumni workshop! Finalllllllly relevant people and not Melissa R! Cassie definitely annoyed me though with her comment about not being the smiley one and having to lay down the law. Giving the girls advice to not worry if they're "not the perfect, smiling kind of girl". Really, Cassie? You got a way with acting like that because your mom is Judy. Girls get called out for not smiling and coming across as disinterested all the time and Kelli has made it crystal clear that acting that way will not fly.... but thanks for the awesome "advice"?Till this day, all these seasons later, Cassie is the only DCC that has ever come across as so entitled and abrasive. Kelli is girl crushing soooo hard on Brianna. I think we all agree that Brianna should have never been taken into Camp over other qualified candidates, but man this episode makes it all even worse. She looked so lost and just bad next to the other girls. As a viewer, it is so frustrating to see them waste time on her.

I wish they would explain this too. Kelli and Judy do this every. single. season. The double standard is very annoying. I wish they would just be honest and say X brings more to the table than Z, whether it's looks or personality or dancing or whatever. I wonder if they even realize how it comes across to the fans when they do that.

This. The videos of Holly dancing on her Instagram are amazing! She seriously has such raw God-given talent. If she isn't DCC anymore, she certainly has an amazing dance career ahead of her. She should audition to tour with singers as a back up dancer. I could totally see her killing it on stage with Beyonce, Gaga, Sia, any of them!

I liked how Judy introduced Jennifer, Jacie, and Kinzie as the alumni veterans who were helping her teach the choreography. I don't recall her ever doing that before. Really love how much more the producers have included the vets so far, even little things like that.
