They called him that cause they thought he could turn into a fucking Wolf! He was also a Warg, the only one besides Bran who even understood what the Wolf dreams meant. It took being betrayed by his best friend, 3 sworn house armies, and Tywin organizationing the Red Wedding, which is the equivalency to burning a church in our time, to defeat him and still to this day GRRM, the creator of ASOIAF/GOT says that he had to kill off Robb or he would’ve been unstoppable. image. Honestly? The only realistic outcome is for Daenaerys to actually remain Queen, and to continue her reign through terror. Or not terror per sei, but having conquered, realize that it’s ashes in her mouth and literally as well, and that she will have to always govern by fear. She may be a benevolent Queen afterwards, but she seized by conquest and devastation and that’s her legacy. Because seriously, she is unbeatable. She made a very powerful statement. Do not fuck with me. She’s fireproof. Drogon in this episode did what three dragons couldn’t do. And he’s still technically a teenage dragon. She has unsullied, Dothraki. Realistically, she is Aegon the Conqueror reborn . No one should fuck with her after this . But, being David and Dan who don’t care about these things, somehow Jon is gonna be able to kill her and her armies are gonna disperse peacefully I guess, and Arya will be a dragon slayer? I mean, how are they gonna resolve this ? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

I also noticed how protective Greyworm still is of Dany. He immediately stepped in front of her when Jon came in and gave him a look as he was leaving , in the Dragonstone scene. She called him by his real name too. It’s like these two are really the ones who really love each other that are left. They are still loyal to each other 😢

Or how they literally RECASTED Dickon Tarly on season 7, to be a strapping, handsome, sweet natured guy who felt so bad for murdering his friends at high garden, who never fought a battle before, instead of keeping the douche canoe no name actor from season 6 who mistreated Sam. 🙄it’s all perspective. Like the fans who keep defending Mirri Maa Durr and call her a hero, for murdering Danys baby, after Daenarys did her best to help her. 🤦🏻‍♀️ It’s like really??????? Mirri Maz Durr is actually fascinating, because she’s a sympathetic character who makes a great point in season 1 and speaks a truth to Daenerys about how she already was raped before Dany “ saved” her, and how she saw her God’s temple burned and her friends die. It’s a powerful statement and its justified anger. However, what gets lost is the fact that Daenaerys did try to help her , and did order the Dothraki to stop raping. She didn’t have these facts, and it was wrong for Mirri to take out her vengeance on an innocent baby who did nothing . It wasn’t “ evil mad cruelty “ for Dany to burn her. My god, do these people have kids??? You hurt my child and I’m coming for you, I don’t care what you have gone through in your life. D and D literally set this up as a biased perspective against Dany in this episode, that’s why we never see her POV after she makes her decision to burn KL. It’s dehumanizing.

I liked the fact that it wasn’t the Dothraki and unsullied we saw raping and pillaging, but the Northern soldiers. They were just as eager to kill and revel in bloodshed. They hate the Lannister’s and Kings Landing and they had no problem giving into the bloodthirst either. I think it’s very telling that everyone’s focusing on Dany going apeshit but no ones commenting on the fact that it was pretty much only Tyrion and Jon with the “ oh no” faces. The northern army loved this shit, and Jon had to kill his own man to prevent rape. Oh but the North is so much better than these foreign invaders!!😂🤣😂

Seriously the way things turned out? She should have said fuck you to Jon . Why bother? If she’s only the “Queen in her own mind”, she doesn’t owe them shit. She should have concluded her war with Cersei before she lost Her dragons, and half her army fighting this war. The wall would still be standing since the NK wouldn’t have Viserion and then if Jon still wanted her help he could have approached her as the “ official Queen of King Landing”. All she got from helping the North was scorn, spite and LOSS.

And dragon fire. Davos specifically tells Jon in season seven that dragons spit fire, which should be effective against wights. So yes, they absolutely sought her out for help and an alliance. They needed her dragon glass and dragons. And armies. Can we stop with this Dany is worthless narrative?

Well, it’s a rant. Second, it’s funny. Third, he also has other in depth reviews, this was just a rant. Hence the title. And Besides that, everything he says is true. And where do you get the impression it’s because he has a crush on Daenarys? That’s insulting. He also spoke about Jamie, and Brienne, and Cersei and Euron.

Except Jon, the King in the North, bent the knee to her. She’s not just some rando off the street screaming “ I’m queen!!!!”. She is a Queen. She has the armies , and the dragons to back up her claim, and the King in the North, who also, by the way, was just “ announced” King, gave up his crown and swore fealty and the North to her cause. And judging by the crowds that gathered, and their arrival, they were expected. So they accepted it. It’s not comparable to Arya proclaiming herself Queen at all.

I’ve seen this line used constantly against Dany all the time to minimize the help she gave the North. The fault with this logic? Is that apparently, they don’t see her as the Queen of all Westeros. Its a lose lose for Dany apparently right? So, as Queen of the Seven kingdoms, it’s her duty to ensure the safety of her people right? So when she provides Dragons, and armies to the North to fulfill her duty, and even fights alongside the northern soldiers and risks her life, she’s just doing what she supposed to do as Queen and Sansa shouldn’t be grateful? I mean, it’s not really a favor, because If Dany considers herself Queen, that’s part of the job description. Right? That’s the logic at play here? ( meanwhile, Cersei , the sitting Queen is doing nothing and is actively working against them ) So, the war is won! Yay! Dany has fulfilled her duty... but wait. It doesn’t matter , because Sansa doesn’t want to accept her as Queen, she wants the North to be independent, even though that’s the deal Dany made with Jon. And apparently that’s fine now because Dany is a foreign invader and the North doesn’t want to accept her as Queen and now she’s not even legitimate, and the stark sisters don’t trust her, and It doesn’t matter that she helped. Something doesn’t compute. Either she’s Queen of Westeros and in which case she has done her duty to the realm and Sansa owes her fealty, like the rest of the North, or she’s not Queen, and she just did them a HUGE FUCKING FAVOR and helped save all their lives at great cost to herself and Sansa is being a bitch. If you accept that it’s her duty to defend the realm, than you accept that she’s Queen.

Seriously. It’s like ...I can’t even. 🤦🏻‍♀️ And Jon. I don’t even know who he is anymore. He’s not book Jon that’s for sure. Book Jon would kick his ass. He’s not even season 4 Jon. It’s like when he died a pod person took over. For the supposed “ hero of the show” he’s pretty useless. Arya has been the MVP of season 8 and her arc, if you excuse season 7 has pretty satisfying so far. Why Dany is obsessed with him is beyond me and why his rejection apparently “ shattered her mind” is baffling. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I honestly think they had her do this so its more palatable to the audience when Jon kills her. It’s another reason they didn’t focus on her face when she was destroying the city. They dehumanized her completely, she was an apocalyptic demon raining hellfire. This was purposely done so the audience truly despises her, and that’s why people are mad. It’s not just” Dany Stan’s “, or “ denial”. It’s shitty writing and it’s forced as hell and that’s it. If critics , media and unbiased people are all coming down hard, and the actors themselves are unhappy, that means something. People are right, there were seeds for Dany going dark, there were seeds that she has a violent nature. However, committing mass genocide at the flip of a switch, in the span of two episodes, after people surrendered, on a level of Dresden, and at the sound of BELLS, is out of nowhere and that is certainly not how it will go down in the books, I doubt it. David and Dan are clearly over it, they need to get to the mad queen ending and have no problem sacrificing logic on the way.
