Everything about this thumbnail, title, and everything just sums up what this show has become to me. Nothing more than an attempt to manufacture drama instead of a true documentary style insight to cuts and choosing girls based on dance ability. I miss the old days 😞 ELIMINATED ‼️❌

WOW CMT!! Please hear this loud and clear! Viewers would MUCH rather see these spontaneous deleted scenes where we get to see a little glimpse of the girls' personalities instead of staged VK salon visits or "random strangers" asking Kat to move in with them! Lol

I think people are guessing it's her own marriage because she did have "Wilson" in her name but it's gone now. I personally find it really weird when people go back and delete all of their photos with an ex, especially if there are a ton (which she posted about him all the time so she would have to delete a lot!) I still have photos with my ex way back on my Instagram that I just never deleted. Maybe she will address it further..

At the beginning of this season it was Kat that everyone was saying needed a slice of humble pie. But now I think Shaina fits that bill more! Wow. Let others praise your ability and accept it humbly, you don't need to do it yourself... not a good look. I know she has had a rough summer but that was uncomfortable and made me like her less. I also can't believe how oblivious Julia was to her media day blunder. Then dropping an f bomb after the meeting when you know cameras and mics are all around? Her attitude turned me off. Lily's cameos were yikes but I thought everyone else looked great! I hope Bridget is taking care of herself. It could have been poor editing but shame on Kelli for looking mad!!! Show some compassion for your team instead of toxicity for once ETA: while I think Julia's attitude was offputting, so was Kelli's ridiculous comment about "insulting LA dancers" which Julia in no way did, so I guess I'd be mad too.

It makes me sad! She used to be THE most beautiful girl to ever grace this squad, in my opinion. I was blown away by her natural look. Then she started toying with her face, openly admitting and discussing all the procedures she has done (on her YouTube) including lip filler, botox, breast implants, her POUNDS of hair extensions, and now I don't find her attractive at all. Makes me sad. She has sold out and gone full "instagram influencer" but I guess you gotta make money somehow?

Wow 😞 Gina's edited photo is sad, she must not be able to see that she is totally gorgeous without face tune!! She is already thin and then pinching her waist in even more just looks disastrous. She is one of my favorites and if she really does have this disordered thinking and body dysmorphia, I hope she is able to get help.

I got the impression that maybe Chandi mentioned to Kelli that she had done the Ancestry test (not shown) and Kelli asked about it, which is why she used that specific wording. Then she just asked the other girls what their heritage was. I could be wrong but I don't think they all actually do a DNA test.

Yes! Ashley's cut in particular seemed VERY abrupt. I knew it was coming (I'm already spoiled) but the way they went about it seemed.. off. Not even a warning or prior convo about kicks.. just got the axe. Which is extra weird because they've praised her in past episodes for her dance, look, and being liked by her teammates. Usually they give at least a little time to see improvement. I'm wondering if there's more that we just didn't see.

Also, the audio from Sheryl pulling the girls totally sounded like it was added after the fact. It's not like she was mic'd at the time so I guess I understand, but when she goes up to them and says "can you come with me?" it sounds like they recorded her saying it later and stuck it in. Not sure if it only bothered me because I work in A/V production but it seemed unnecessary 🤣 we would still be able to tell what was going on if they had just shown the video.

What an entirely bizarre episode. I can't really even comment on a lot of dancing but here are my initial thoughts: What was that nail salon scene? Why was CMT even included in that? Clearly it was set up, because 1) people don't normally just offer up their house to a complete stranger in public and 2) it seems a little crazy that it just randomly took place while CMT HAPPENED to be there.. no. I'm not sure why that was included, especially if it didn't work out. Have we ever seen them cut girls mid-rehearsal before, except on squad announcement day? That was really weird to just pull Gina Marie and Ashley. They didn't even get the big group hug from the girls at the end of the night. Odd Travis Wall and learning the jump splits were the only times I was actually entertained this episode. It was kind of interesting to see the leaders being chosen, but I really couldn't care less about the Core test. Was Kelli trying to show how diverse they are by asking them about their "ancestry.com results"? Lack of diversity has been a big talking point this season so it doesn't surprise me. All I can really say about dancing is that Lisa is on fire and Kat needs work. Victoria did look good too. This whole episode just felt really contrived and manufactured to me. Brb gonna go binge watch seasons 1-8 😞

I watched the latest episode with my mom tonight. She does not follow DCC extensively like I do, nor does she overanalyze and critique every dance or girl like we do here on the board. That being said, she loves Maddie and she LOVES Victoria. Those are her 2 favorites. She said "Maddie should DEFINITELY be point!" and she "wants to go on whatever diet Victoria is on" lol. It's funny that those are two of the most criticized girls on these boards, yet general fans in real life and on Facebook seem to really love them. It's just interesting to see how much of a contrast there is between the way we see the girls and how the average viewer sees them.

Episode thoughts: Victoria looked great and I'm going to stop apologizing for saying that! She really looks so much better than last year, dance wise and figure. When she was in her small group, she was the only one I could watch. Poor Gina Marie is in way over her head 😞 Lisa's personality rubs me the wrong way sometimes, but sister can dance. I'll see if I warm up to her. No surprise Christina is the lowest ranking vet. Cut her and move on! Amy seems like the sweetest leader. She always seems to be encouraging and supportive to the girls. All in all, I would have liked to see a LOT more dancing and critiques this episode! Don't really need more than about 30 seconds on personality tests or new apartments. I am glad we got to see some new rookies as opposed to just focusing on the comeback girls (or Kat)

I saw that too. I cannot believe they put her on the field with those kicks.
