My newest probably unpopular opinion... I've never enjoyed watching the audition process. I usually skip it on earlier seasons. (Which is why I'm not too excited about the 3 episodes of auditions this season. But I still love the show)

I realize I've going to be talking about a DCC Icon. And I love her DOWN. She's a long time favorite of mine and her rookie season is my favorite season of the show.. with that being said.. I love Jackie Bob... but I haaate how she filters her instagram photos. She's sooo much prettier without all of that.

I'm glad her cuteness was brought up. It's never been a deal breaker for me by any means, but I always thought that she was almost... too "cute" for DCC. If that makes sense.

Question.. the LSU girl got me thinking since she has danced with soo many girls that have gone on to make the team, what other schools are pipelines to the DCC? I remember the rangerettes being mentioned a few times throughout the seasons as well for kicks.

If Holly just has the flu or an injury and we're all here panicked, I'm going to be HIGHLY upset ?

My probably unpopular opinions. 1. Dayton would have gotten the fan vote. 2. PLEASE Permanently bring back Candice Crawford. I loved her. 3. I like Jenna. 4. I don't understand the Erica hype. She wasn't on my radar until I joined this forum. 5. Randomly, I love Amy L. 6. I wasn't the biggest fan of Sydney or Ally Traylor.

So I'm rewatching S11 E1 and around the 21:35 mark when the audition combo is being taught, Judy says they perform the routine 4 times as well. Does the kick line count as a routine that's performed twice? I guess I just always referred to it as "the kickline" lol

How many times do they do the routine during this phase? I thought it was Once then the kickline. But then someone early in the episode said they do it once in the front line and once in the back line in front of the judges. BUT THEN, the cardiac nurse said they do the routine 4 times before the kickline. 4 seems.. excessive lol One front line, one back line, all one line, and.... facing backward? Then the kickline? Yikes.

3 Auditions, 6 Training Camp/MTT, 4 of extras like season 7 I'm guessing?

Looved looking at the little Veteran interviews... and I don't mean to be that forum member but how many episodes will there be this season? I don't think auditions have ever lasted 3 episodes before lol

Nicole Hamilton failed that test her 4th or 5th year and she was just lower on the board that they use in TC to compare the girls. But I don't think anyone was trying to get rid of Nicole... her dancing was PHENOMENAL.

The @ShellyB moment was by far my favorite part of the episode. You look amaaazing and Dayton is absolutely beautiful. If she didn't make it I really hope she auditions again. Can we swap out Melissa Rycroft with Nicole Hamilton, Jackie Bob, or Whitney I.. or Emma? Melissa is cool, but I sorta would have a 5 year DCC OR all-star to fill that slot. Soley based on this episode and what I remember from past seasons, I don't think any returning TCCs will make the team besides maybe Christina. Who spends $1000 on an audition outfit? "Now that was a leg!" still takes me out lmao the other mother daughter moment was cute but that girl won't be a DCC. Whitney needs to stop auditioning. She's cute, and a good dancer.. but I don't really see how she gleamed "come back" from the conversation her last season. Random but I hope Amy auditions again some year. Her cut was so sad and I was really pulling for her.

(Long time reader, first time commenter. Hey y'all! Excited for the season) Last night Jenna was helping the TCC's with routines in the studio. If she's still doing DCC duties, she can't be suspended right?
