There was a season they gave her BRIGHT blonde highlights and I was mortified.

I mostly felt that way about Ally, but I also feel like she was way too eager to answer Kelli when that little blonde veteran was getting kicked off the squad too and that kinda sealed it for me. It was something about her running back to add an additional answer that didn't sit well with me. We all knew where it was headed already. I would have rather had her than Sarah G or Tina but I don't think the forums would have been able to handle another Cassie/Ally scene lol

The vets are gonna have to dance for their lives this year. But I also think a year (or two for some) of the DCC style will do some of the rookies some good. I remember not being the biggest fan of Mia her rookie season, and look how strong she finished. I think Lauren (I think it's her back there) looked good in that routine.

Now THIS is a little more like it! Except for whatever Rookie (or whoever) that is in the back left. She's actually giving me flashbacks of when Danielle Marie used to always look over to see if she was in line. It looks like she's marking it too, TBH.

ADORABLE. Something tells me either Kelli or Judy weren't too pleased. What a roster ? Honestly, this reminds me that I'm glad Jenna is still there. Put her back in front already! I'll even jump on the Lacey train. Still staunchly #CerstenForPoint, but whatever.

I don't either, I think her year as point she was telling one of the TCC's that they need lots and lots of practice so they don't mess up in front of Kelli and Judy and I think she sounds the same.

Okay so. I was looking at Miranda, I think the problem is she is really tall and doesn't know how to use her plié to get lower with the rest of the team. Every time their knees bend, she's half-doing it, but as the same time keeping with the counts. She needs to get as low and powerful as Christina is trying to be, but a lot less clunky. (In my humble opinion lol) As for the rest of them I can hear Judy in my head saying "Christina mistakes, Miranda mistakes, Tara (I think) LOTS of mistakes..." lol

I am nottt enjoying the rookies in the back. Who are they? Christina, Miranda and The Jets?

My smaaaaallest pet peeve is when the rookies are forced to stand in front of the camera the day of training camp and they say they have no idea what's about to happen tonight. There are 11 past seasons of the show!! You know what's up. Erin and Brianna are on my radar. I think Brianna will be the first cut. It just needs to happen. She reminds me of Maddy's first season but even less prepared. Erin tripped in damn near every scene.. I know Judy is concerned. @ShellyB! Loved the cameos. I didn't realize how involved you were in training camp. I love it. But at the same time.. you've been holding out on us. lol I'm starting to get on this Lacey train. She's so mature for being so young and is a really good dancer. Great addition to the DDC. Amy L is really cute. Love Jenna, Robin, and Jinelle. Cersten looked soo pretty in her Jerry Jones close up. Holly sure knows how to seduce a camera. But, I'm not seeing the deal about Simone, I thought she was one of the weaker veteran dancers. Judy called Lauren a mess and I was slightly offended because I like Lauren a lot. lol But she does seem like a take-home girl.. I don't know where she finds the time! But hey.. My favorite rookies so far are Lauren, Keyra, and Kaylssa.

Listening to Cassie call someone's dancing clunky reminded me that Katelyn was robbed from a TC spot this year and I still want answers lol

All the vets look really pretty. I'm a HUGE Lauren fan now, she's adorable. What routine were they learning? I thought Thunderstruck was night 1 but I didn't recognize those moves.

Finally we're breaking into my favorite portion of the show!
