  1. When you think about it on a small scale, people struggle with life changes for this reason. Facing a big monolithic block is hard for us. We have to take it day by day. Think about any vice. Smoking cessation or alcohol or a diagnosis or dieting. You have to break it down into mangable chunks. I actually completely got how hard eternity would be. THEY BECOME FLYING PUPPIES AND PLAY IN THE SKY AND NEVER GET BORED. This topic is closed to further discussion. LALALALALALALA
  2. Oh, I was teasing.
  3. Hey, at least Rowena will sacrifice someone she loves to accomplish a higher purpose, Winchesters. 😂
  4. Fair point. I feel evil saying this, but Oskar seems like pretty great leverage for him. But I do see that.
  5. I am assuming it won't mean that, but for some reason the idea that people would automatically succeed to the role made me think of Dred Pirate Roberts, and now I have that mental image in my head. Right? Writers, it would have taken minimal tweaking to have Sam pressure either of the characters into the actions. If that is what you want, write it that way. It's what saved this one for me. They were so good. I can see it now. They wait for intelligent life to evolve and then kill all the aliens as a result of good faith attempts to protect each other while sending meaningful looks to one another in zero gravity. I . . . Would watch that Don't forget creating unnecessary complications through secrets and lies! So, Rowena actually survived. I am legitimately shocked by that. I didn't expect her to make it. I don't really get why Crowley helped them. I was sort of assuming it was to get to Rowena and then he had access to her but didn't act. Didn't he want MoC Dean? Meanwhile he actually finds the one thing Rowena cares about, and he hands over that leverage to be destroyed. I don't get it. I wish I thought there would be huge ramifications associated with killing Death (who, frankly, has been slacking what with his reapers showing themselves and going rogue), but my guess is that this wasn't thought out beyond the shock value. The plot holes in this episode were fairly monumental, but they sold the hell out of it. I could have lived without the "skank" bs (sigh), but I did like that they actually went dark with Dean. And so ends S10. I actually really liked it there for awhile and then they added extraneous bad guys and fridged Charlie so they could accelerate something that should have been building over time. I think this season had a ton of wasted potential. Still, there were some great moments and some great episodes.
  6. Thank goodness for that at least. Solidarity on disliking this episode.
  7. IMO, this is the only thing that matters in the analysis. Regardless of whether the kid is complicit or not, Dean had very little information to go on and he expressly says he is killing the kid because of his genetic relationship to bad people. He says: "Oh, you are like them. There's bad in you. It's in your blood. Now you can deny it and you can run from it all you want, but that bad.... will always win." It doesn't matter that the kid killed someone or whether he was coerced or whether he should have reported his family's actions. Because what matters in this analysis is that Dean killed him because of who he was and not what he did. That is what speaks to Dean's state of mind. Oh, she will for sure claim it even if it isn't true and I kinda love that about her. As noted by others, it is hard for me to get too worked up about the possessed nurse given how often these guys gank possessed people without ever trying to determine whether they are still alive. Also, as awful as it was to kill the innocent civilian, correct me if I am wrong but it also killed the demon who acquired babies for consumption. As far as demon gankings go, that one is probably way more righteous than Demon #3 who is guarding abandoned warehouse #342. Not saying it's right. Just saying in the context of the morality of this show after that point it doesn't seem particularly egregious. Not sure where the story will take us, but I agree that his actions clearly mirror Cain's murdering of a bunch of potentially innocent people to destroy his bloodline. I agree with this. I think the parallel is really clear here. We have seen Dean actually relax his kill all monster rules lately, and this is a sharp turn left. Ugh. Someone please go against my spoiler policy and promise me I don't have to see any more scenery chewing fake Southern Stynes. DaddyStyne's accent was so bad that my husband, who does not watch the show, overheard it and thought one of the characters was doing a pretend accent as a joke. I have learned to tune out a lot of bad accents in my time, but these were borderline offensive. Add in the just ridiculous, moustache twirling acting and I just cannot with these guys. I think the most offensive thing about this episode was that the Stynes were so freaking boring. I was impatient for Dean to kill them all, as he obviously was going to do, so that we could get on with our lives. It seems to me you could say that about pretty much anyone who is on the show, though. I mean, should they kill Alex/Annie? How normal will her life ever be after being used as monster bait? What about every ethical/non murdering monster they let go? Hell, this is true of the Winchesters themselves. I get slightly more angry at Dean because Cain started to warn him of the consequences and he didn't care enough to hear them. At least he could have then prepared for them if he had asked. I would have respected it more if they tweaked that scene to have him know the risk and decide it was worth it to stop Abbadon. I think it would be nice for them to occasionally address this if they are going to use it as an excuse. They seem to have not even the slightest hesitation or guilt for stabbing demons. My high school did. Actually, I toured a public elementary school last night that had multiple buildings. They weren't fancy like that, but I do think many expensive private schools could have buildings that look like Styne Hall. This. Charlie got killed because of the book, the search for which they both sanctioned, if we need to find a cause. But Charlie got killed because she was trying to help Dean. She was an adult woman who made her own decisions. Justifying Dean's behavior with, "well she was like a little sister" is infantilizing and paternalistic. I tackled this in the prior thread, but nothing about Sam's actions or secrets and lies actually lead to Charlie's death, except possibly not destroying the book (which we don't know is possible) and even then she would have remained a target because of her knowledge. Sam's call got her involved with the witch codex, but the Stynes didn't attack her for the codex. This was some Grade A bullshit. Charlie's funeral was about Sam and Dean's feelings and not about her. If there was any question whether or not she was fridged, the funeral answered them. More on that below, but it was really weird to have Sam tell Cas that much later. All of the yeses. Charlie's funeral could not have been less about her. I mean, compare it to Bobby's death or Kevin's return as a ghost. They didn't even TALK about Charlie. There was no recognition of who she was outside of the context of Sam and Dean. Even the damn montage was about Sam and/or Dean. There was no: here she is being a badass or remember that time she was LARPing? It is all Charlie hugging them and telling them she loves them. FFS, the character deserved a lot better than this. Like her death, which was couched first and foremost in reaction shots by Sam and Dean, her funeral was solely about how her death impacted these two guys. Gross. The entire funeral scene made me slightly nauseated. Literally anything could have set Dean off. We didn't need it to be Charlie. It would have been better if it WASN'T Charlie, because her death just gave everyone a chance to explain away his MoC actions. If we are supposed to be disturbed by how out of control he is, and I think we are, killing Charlie only weakens that by making his murder spree fall more in a gray area. Guys, I am not going to beat a dead horse here about how bad the representation of Shreveport is, but it is not a tiny one stop light town with two police officers. It has a population of over 100k with a metro area of almost 500k. A google search tells me they have 500 officers. Did we really need a stereotypical mouth breathing redneck sheriff here? There is a fucking medical school and university there. I hated this episode, but not for the reasons I was supposed to. Yes, Dean's decline was suitably disturbing. Yes, I think his murder of the potentially innocent Styne and his fight with Castiel were horrible to watch in exactly the way they were supposed to be. However, the Stynes were legitimately the least watchable monster/bad guy I think I have ever seen (and that includes racist trucks) and it pisses me off that they somehow killed Charlie, who had apparently learned how to fight, when they were so easily killed. MoC aside, they didn't necessarily require extra bullets or stab wounds. I found myself bored listening to DaddyStyne monologue. I didn't find myself transferring anger and hate to the bad guys who were responsible for Charlie's death. I was too pissed off at the writers instead. Oh, and if we are going to kill these assholes "for Charlie" maybe we could also be pissed off with them for the multitude of horrifying events they apparently helped precipitate like 9/11 or the holocaust. Whatever. Compared to Lucifer or the Leviathans, these guys were about as menacing as kittens. I am happy that Crowley is back to being evil. I don't really like him, but I probably like him better when he is evil. I am with Sam. Crowley has done terrible and awful things. I also am interested to see if Rowena tries to take credit. I know she is likely to be killed soon, but I have found her to be really watchable. Winner of most unintentionally hilarious moment: the nurse who was polishing the surgical tools. What in the actual fuck? 😂I want to see my face in those scalpels, entirely gratuitous hot nurse that we apparently keep around as the only female in the house.
  8. Ha. At least someone remembered/found the garage. I am still a little bitter we don't get to see those classic cars and bikes up close. I have a lot of trouble believing Dean isn't in there working on those cars. I am actually glad I broke my no spoiler policy and risked googling it because it helps to know that a lot of fans were outraged. I agree about that image. Even for a show that often shows gore, the image of her discarded in the tub like that was just so wrong and disturbing. I get that characters die on this show. It isn't that she died (although I would personally argue that the show needs more diversity AND that the show is more interesting when it isn't just Sam and Dean are isolated and have no community), it's how and why she died and the way it was framed.
  9. Yep. Charlie did this "for Dean." Yeah, I am still not getting the basics of this argument (not that you are particularly endorsing it, I just don't even see how Sam set anything in motion). Sam and Dean sent Charlie to find the book in There's No Place Like Home. The Stynes begin pursuing Charlie because of the book in the Book of the Damned. Dean has changed his mind about how to approach a cure, but Charlie was out of touch and now has the book and is being pursued. Sam doesn't burn the book but it isn't clear that 1. it could have been destroyed or 2. the Stynes would stop pursuing Charlie who had been in possession of the book and is known to them. Charlie agrees in secret to review the Book of the Damned, which is typically traceable but is currently shielded from the Stynes using the Witch's codex which we have no reason to believe is on the Stynes' radar. Charlie leaves with her notes but doesn't have the book. There is no reason to believe she is traceable (they thought the book was being traced) but even if she was, nothing Sam did causes that to happen as the Stynes are still pursuing the Book of the Damned. She is killed when they try to get her notes. She very clearly indicates she doesn't have the book. If they wanted this to be Sam's fault, the Stynes needed to pursue the witch's codex OR the book had to be destroyable and tracked by the Stynes in Charlie's possession. Absent that, they were coming for Charlie because her prior association with the book, which was a search sanctioned by both brothers. oh sorry. That was unclear. The Styne brother seemed to be able to move at lightning speed with one arm cut off into town with no vehicle.
  10. I don't know that I will ever like Metatron, but I wanted to stab him like 43% less so that is definitely a win. 😆
  11. I think the fact that they had her wander off is part of what is so infuriating, because that doesn't feel like her character at all. Beyond that, there was such a catastrophic chain of stupidity, that I refuse to blame anyone but the writers on this one. If they hadn't chained this dude up by one arm. If Charlie had worked from the damn car or gotten some headphones or gone to the other room or literally any other logical response to someone distracting you. I mean, FFS, she worked in a cubicle when we met her. You are going to tell me she is used to quiet work environments? Please. Not to mention the inexplicable ability to apparently teleport and track Charlie. And the failure to take their prisoner's phone. I just can't. I don't really get saying Sam is responsible. I have no doubt her death will be used as something to make Sam feel guilty and Dean go off the rails, but that is literally the problem. She was killed so that we could see the guys' response. Ugh. It's gross. It isn't that she died, it's the way she died and the purpose of her death within the story that makes me absolutely livid. And they didn't even have enough respect to write a logical story to do it. That being said, I am not sure what Sam was supposed to do that would have changed things. Is the argument that he should have burned the (apparently unburnable) book? Even then, Charlie would have been a target. Is it that he didn't have her in the bunker? Cause then magic Styne brother would have been in the same place as she was and could have killed her. Is it that he pulled her back in? She already knew about the book. I don't see why she would stop being a target. I admit, I am riled the hell up about this one. I ended up throwing out my spoilers policy to read fan reaction from a few years ago (and actually feel a lot better that I am not alone).
  12. Same. That little sob was so sweet and I refuse to hear otherwise. 😥 I actually LIKED this one, which apparently makes me weird. I think I was just so disappointed with the way they left Claire on the side of the road. I enjoyed that they actually taught her something about hunting and I enjoyed the bonding over minigolf. I hated that Amelia was immediately killed, but did love the reunion in heaven. Poor Jodi with her house for wayward girls affected by monsters. But I am happy to see that they set her up with a support system. Progress! Overall, this one worked for me, personally.
  13. Yes! Adult Susie was awesome. I loved how she was not having it. This was awesome. Sam has always pushed to kill Crowley, and I loved how this wasn't even a question for him. Kill Crowley? Done. Next please. I continue to think Rowena is a really fun character. I enjoy her maneuvering and I just generally find her entertaining. Honestly, I think she is one of the better villains. HallucinationRowena was a great twist. I never really loved Benny the way other people did, but I did like the use of purgatory and Benny here. The secrets and lies are somewhat annoying, but overall, I ended up liking this one a lot.
  14. I don't know if I should respond with the laugh emojii or the cry one. 😆😭
  15. I don't know if you ever came back, but I really enjoyed your analysis, FWIW. I wish I had your self-preservation, but I am probably too damn stubborn. 😆😭 Yes. I meant to raise this, but forgot in my RAAAAGE. I am trying to find a way to even structure how much it sucks to kill off the openly gay character like this. This show is very . . . straight? There are all sorts of fun ways it could mess with gender and sexuality, given the demon and angel possessions. Instead, most references to being gay are jokes. Frankly, I have been shocked by the fact that they actually introduced an openly gay woman on the show who wasn't just there for the guys to talk about how hot it is for her to kiss girls. I mean, even in this late season, Dean is leering at college women. So, it has been really nice to have a good, strong gay character. One who is comfortable with who she is and sex positive. But, what do you know? We are once again killing off a gay character. To give the men the feels. I am, frankly, tired of watching gay characters get slaughtered over and over. Fridging the pizza is the last straw. I think we can presume it was a lady pizza unless they bring it back later. 😆😩 Good! He should have taken heat for this one. It was a crappy decision. He couldn't have been totally unaware that the show was being criticized for its treatment of women and LGBTQIA issues. I knew about it and I didn't even watch the show. It was a stunt to get people talking. I honestly can't see it as anything else. Spoilers for The Magicians below: I don't care if they write her off. I mean, I love the character personally, but there are 100 ways to say we don't feel like she advances the plot beyond fridging her. Agreed. It was like everyone in the episode was under some stupidity spell. I mean, she said she taught herself in a coffee shop, but she can't work with distractions? I just don't buy her stomping off in a huff like a teenage girl. And don't get me started on the one armed chain. I won't rage quit, because I am too damn stubborn, but I am really pissed off at the moment.
  16. Oh fuck you, show. I have put up with a loooooot of crap in my time, but to fridge Charlie like this is absolutely outrageous. Just in case you thought she was killed for any other purpose than to show how her death affected the men, they showed us reaction shots before showing her dead. She didn't even get a fucking death scene. I am on record saying that I love Charlie, and I particularly love that she isn't one of the like 4 types of women this show constantly writes (hot damsel, evil but also sexy, older maternal but also attractive or hot but can shoot a gun/fight). Charlie was written with her own life and her own interests. She had no interest in sleeping with either guy. She was sex positive and nerdy and smart and completely different than anyone else on the show. So they kill her for shock value? That isn't shocking, Supernatural. We EXPECT it, particularly from sci fi and particularly from this show. WHEN PEOPLE COMMENT WITH RELIEF THAT THEY WERE WORRIED WHEN A FEMALE CHARACTER THEY LIKED SHOWED UP BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WANT YOU TO KILL THEM OFF, YOU HAVE PROBABLY KILLED TOO MANY WOMEN. What would have been radically different would have been actually having her live. And the fucking way she was killed off. The way every single person in this episode seems to have lost even the tiniest bit of logic or intelligence? The way these obnoxious and boring new villains who are basically souped up humans somehow can magically find her and move around at lightning speed? The way they give back Castiel's superpowers last week just to have him babysit? I just fucking CANNOT with you, show. Oh, and let's talk about the Frankensteins. Who thought these douches would make an interesting monster. Really? 9-11? Oh, and they are from SHREVEPORT? So the guy with the "cajun" accent was from North Louisiana? Little geography lesson, the cajuns are down South. Shreveport is a small north Louisiana city and the accent is closer to Arkansas. Though, frankly, I have no idea what any of those accents were supposed to be. Anyway, so they are a prominent family who runs the world from Shreveport and their general motivation is generic eeeeevil and money? Barf. They may be the least interesting monsters this show has produced. I was going to beg someone for spoilers that Charlie is somehow brought back from the dead but, you know, it doesn't matter. Because this show still decided this was an acceptable plot line.
  17. All of this. I can even take the fact that the happy and sweet pizza scene is a calm before the storm. I would like to thank the good people who do the closed captioning because without "(cajun accent)" I would not have recognized it as such. Despite the terrible fake accent from my home state. I loved this one so hard. Dean happy in the car and eating pizza. Castiel recovering his grace. Sam's emotional speech. This one was spectacular.
  18. It was really fun to watch him hustle pool. He seemed so happy and relaxed. It was great to see Bobby, but I sorta hoped he was hanging out with Ellen, Jo and Ash. I was disappointed they didn't even mention Ash. That would have been awesome. I thought the same thing. Are we SURE they aren't racist cars? 😆 Me too. I was sitting there grossed out trying to figure out why he was putting his toothbrush in his armpit. 😆 The saddest part to me about heaven being a replay of your memories is that nothing new can occur. So, she can relive happy memories but she can never have the kids she hoped for. She and Bobby can never reconcile. Not even fakeBobby. If you remember how it ends, those memories might all be painful. HAVEN'T WE BEEN PATIENT ENOUGH? How many roads must a man walk down? I loved this one. The Dean hustles plot was really great. I wasn't spoiled on the Demon eyes, so they were fairly shocking. I hope he managed to eat those nachos while tanking the game, because yum. 😆 I actually enjoyed his scene with Crowley and the showdown with Rowena. I was so excited to see Bobby. I loved the psychic. He was interesting and memorable despite only a few lines. I am a bit annoyed by the secrets and liiiiiies, but the story was entertaining. And then there is the HHGTTG reference. I literally finished the first book for probably the 15th time. Maybe more. It is probably my favorite book of all time.
  19. Ha! Well Dean and Cain had so thoroughly been discussed that I truly couldn't add to it except to say: remember when this happened? That was awesome/sad/amazing. 😆 ETA: I actually had quoted like 15 things and realized that was basically going to be my post. A bunch of "this" and "I agree" Lol.
  20. Well, aside from the points made above about the VA being the wrong entity, he was emergent and I would have expected ER care. There was a disconnect, I think, with the level of incapacity/illness that was shown and the reaction built into the script. I don't know that I have ever noticed that Sam doesn't let Dean eat food. I believe you that it is a thing, but this was so forceful. It made it really noticeable in a bizarre way.
  21. So much this. Probably covered, but it was absolutely bizarre that these guys didn't get any medical treatment, especially after seeing Cole react: 1. quickly to the worm; and 2. while being totally aware of something being wrong. I snort laughed at this description. Gore really goes best with humor. I . . . may need therapy. 😆 This is such a great take on everything. I found myself nodding along with so much of it. The episode wasn't one that worked for me entirely, but you make some really compelling points. I think the face palm moments just bugged me too much. Plus Cole is pretty awful. I didn't like his overly macho flat characterization before and I don't feel like this episode improved my opinion. Without running the nickname thing into the ground, this is a really good summary of what bugged me. I go by a name that is easily reducible into a common nickname, but I don't like that nickname for me. Yet, I will sign emails and in the immediate reply be called by the common nickname. I had a partner at a law firm who refused to call me by my preferred name because he "didn't like it" and another who chose to call me by a nickname he made up that I didn't like at all. I have had people comment on my preferred name in gross and insulting ways. Basically, at the end of the day, I find myself wanting to scream JUST CALL ME BY MY PREFERRED NAME. Now, I give my kids all sorts of cutesy nicknames and my Mom did the same to me, and that didn't bug me. But that is a totally different context. In this context it is presumptuous and awkward and offputting. And yes, I get what he is saying about military units and nicknames. Every guy in my husband's unit had a nickname. But they got it over time because everyone would be sitting around bored (except that often they were just called by last name because that is what is on their uniform). That is a nickname that arises out of a shared and common experience. The context here didn't match up for me. All of that to say, somebody needed to tell him to cut it out. The cake was so weird. What was the point of that? Why didn't Sam let Dean have a piece? Why did Dean suddenly become a toddler and steal some icing? Why was there no payoff? It was an odd choice all around. Just amplifying that the first scene was gross and gratuitous and it bugged me a lot. I am not going to have another soapbox moment about this show and women, so I will just agree that it added nothing to the story whatsoever, and there was absolutely no reason to have her in almost no clothing so it was even more disappointing. This episode had moments ranging from meh to eyeroll for me. If Cole never re-emerges, it will be too soon.
  22. I know everyone hates Rowena, but I am actually really enjoying her creepy, abusive machinations. Hmm, maybe that came out wrong. I think it is interesting to see her openly manipulating a character known for his manipulation. I think she absolutely is supposed to feel like a classic abuser, down to isolating Crowley so that he is dependent upon her. And I think it works, in part, because of their shared history. I agree. My mother and I have a good relationship, and she can still make me doubt myself with a few words. I know a ton of lawyers who love true crime documentaries and podcasts and who watch legal-based shows. The fact that Dean didn't know it was weird and out of place, but I can buy him being interested in true crime as a hobby. I think this is definitely a factor. Even if he isn't feeling things, he has the memory of what it was like to feel. Agree. It was very effective. Honestly, the scenery chewing also reminds me of some of the more effective abusers/manipulators. Abusive assholes often come off as charming. That is why they are effective. Having helped a few women out of abusive relationships, I can say that their abusive significant others always tried extra hard to seem amazing. They had this performative nature about them that became clear in retrospect. Oh, this puts it in an entirely new light for me. Bittersweet again to see Timothy Omudson. I love him so much as an actor. Not enough to watch This is Us, mind you, but I don't know that anyone could get me to watch that show. He makes such an incredible Cain. I am happy that he has recovered enough to start working again. I can't really add to the depth of the analysis in this thread, so I will just comment that I think everyone brought their A game to this episode.
  23. Yeah, I guess I mean that that characterization seems inconsistent tom me when compared to most of his interactions with women. There is precedence for it, but I didn't like it in those cases either. Basically, I hate when they have him ogle teenagers and want them to cut it out?
  24. All of it seems so inconsistent with the Famine episode. Does Dean indulge in a healthy manner, or does he give into his uncontrollable urges? I guess they were going for: look at all this food you can choose from! I think it is a common reaction for new students to get one of everything. The problem is: 1. why are they acting like Dean has never been on a college campus before? and 2. Why is Dean acting like he doesn't know how to eat like a normal person? It was a weird choice. Yes. This was a highlight. Yes. It was gross and didn't feel in character to me. I felt ancient in law school next to all the college kids. Every so often they write Dean like a creepy horndog and I just don't get it. This was one of the things I really did like about the episode. It did feel a bit old school and despite the missteps, I did enjoy that we got some good relationship stuff. Totally agree. This has happened before, IMO. The writers have a concept and the director doesn't take it far enough to sell it. I couldn't tell if they were serious or not, which is a problem. Plus, there were just some really freaking weird lines. For example, wtf was up with the line about having bigger problems if she told someone? Was it a threat? Not a threat? Pretty sure the actor didn't know. I think the deaths needed to be bigger and more ridiculous to sell the spoof concept. The tone was just . . . off. I think you covered it. In the end, I didn't hate this episode, but I didn't love it either. There was some good stuff, but I felt like some of it just missed the mark.
  25. I could not agree more with this. He knocked it out of the park. I had to wonder if JA was hovering and providing feedback or if he just did his homework. Either way, an incredible job. Ha. Poor Jody would end up running some sort of group home for teenage girls who were monster adjacent. You know? I might watch that. Eww. Dating would be a nightmare. Either she is dating 14 year olds or sexual predators who say things like "she has an old soul." Then again, perhaps she wants a break from dating altogether. Still, I think "relive life from 14 on" sounds like my own personal hell. The hormones alone. *shudder* I agree that she has a lot more agency and maturity than the other teenage girls they have left on the side of the road (speaking of *shudder*) and at least she got a ride to the bus stop and some cash, but she is still not in a great place. She is physically vulnerable and she has no network. I would have liked to have her vocalize some sort of plan. Perhaps she can claim amnesia or ask for help from social services at an age where she wouldn't necessarily have all of her information (did anyone know their social at that age?), but it is going to be pretty terrible trying to get around as a 14 year old, even if she tries to age up a bit. That is a great detail that I missed. Also, I love "We're all fugitives from the laws of probability." My understanding is that they were transported into their bodies at that age, so no physical withdrawal symptoms, just psychological factors that may drive someone to drink. I actually will say that this is probably Tina's best shot at rehab up for that reason. She isn't fighting the physical need and she doesn't have easy access. This reminds me of all the shows that have first responders with their hair down. There was a show about medics a few years ago and the female characters all had long, flowing locks. All I could think about was how impractical that would be. Ha! Look, I have face blindness and often cannot identify people out of context. I also have a real problem confusing people who are similarly built with similar hairstyles. There were two guys in my office with the same hair who I recognize had totally dissimilar faces but who I constantly mixed up in my head. Nonetheless, there is no way that even I, faceblind as I am, would have trouble telling them apart. Also, from what I have seen of the audience, there is no chance of confusion between the two. 😂 Speaking of faceblind, youngTina was played by the actress who played Fray in The Magicians. I thought she was familiar but had to look it up and then look at pictures of her in costume and still couldn't quite get the two to mesh in my head because of the wildly different contexts, but I thought she was fantastic in this role. Poor Claire. I think this is reasonable headcannon, though it seems like a lot of work. Honestly, this is my problem with pretty much any time travel story as well. Person from the past comes to the future and stays because loooove. Yeah, that's all well and good but showing up with 0 credit history and no SSN is gonna be a problem. Being a minor, you have the extra layer of CPS. Ohhhhhh. Thanks for that. I was so confused as to why he would burn the hex bag. All I could think was: shouldn't you hold on to that? I am all in on this idea. Just not aliens, right? 😆 This was my reading as well. Good luck fattening up Dean, Hansel and Witch.
