  1. RIP, Deluca. You weren't my favorite character, but you didn't deserve to die either, however nobly. 😥
  2. Ruth E. Carter, Black Panther's Oscar-winning costume designer, just got a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. 🥳⭐
  3. @Mojoween: My response to that is, to quote the old saying, "Familiarity breeds contempt." I love my old-school shows too, but they're not the only things I watch. I also watch things that are outside my comfort zone. When I get tired of something old, I watch something that's not just new, but different. In other words, I can watch/love a show like The Jeffersons, but since I've seen every episode, it can be boring, hence watching a movie like Parasite, a story set in a foreign country and told in a foreign language, but in a way that I could understand, which is why I love it, which proves that some things are much more universal than expected, when given a chance.
  4. To quote the old saying, "Black don't crack." Rosamund Pike's win was nice, but I expected Maria Bakalova to win. Talk about (almost) taking one for the team!
  5. Taylor Boseman's beautiful acceptance speech reminded me of the quote from WandaVision: "What is grief but love persevering?"
  6. Re Christopher Meloni, be still, my beating...heart.
  7. Hello Jamie Lee and the "girls!" Cheers to Jodie Foster, her wife and their dog!
  8. If Rosamund Pike keeps playing blonde sociopathic grifters as well as she does, she might get typecast. The Giuliani joke was hilarious, though.
  9. The Hudson/Hawn/Russell family is giving the Ruffalos a run for their money in the cute department. That unexpected tribute to Chadwick Boseman by the kids hit me in the heart.
  10. Yay for Trent, Atticus and especially Jon Baptiste. Looks like Stephen Colbert's not the only Late Show award winner anymore.
  11. Kevin and Kyra: still gorgeous after all these years.
  12. A Norman Lear musical written by Lin-Manuel Miranda would've been epic. Tentative titles: "Movin'On Up," "Those Were the Days," "And Then There's Norm" and "Ain't We Lucky We Got Him."
  13. The weirdest pair of siblings since Angelina Jolie and her brother.
  14. Congrats to Mark Ruffalo. His award was richly deserved and his speech was the perfect storm of woke and adorable, with his kids responsible for the latter.
  15. Congrats to Daniel Kaluuya and John Boyega for giving such humble and heartfelt acceptance speeches. Although Boyega said that he was wearing track pants, he still managed to look better than Laura Dern's tux.
  16. The February 20th episode of SNL was jam packed with great musical moments, all of which involved gorgeous host Rege'-Jean Page, whether it was his singing "Unchained Melody" during the opening monologue, his cameo in the "Loco" video about going crazy in quarantine, the sea shanty songs with musical guest Bad Bunny (who's not too shabby, either), the gospel sing off or the grocery store rap. But my personal favorite was the tribute to "Driver's License," the song by Disney+ star Olivia Rodrigo. Although I'd never even heard of that song nor the singer before the episode, that the sketch was just a bunch of guys singing the song, debating the meaning of the lyrics and the drama that inspired them was hilarious. That it happened on the singer's 18th birthday was even better.
