  1. Episode 4: Boring, not a bad concept, they just chose people and situations that nobody cares about. To me this would be considered a filler episode since it didn't move the story forward one bit, except for the Sunderlands bizarre interest in raising Susie Coyle. First guy that was infected was fine, very dramatic, but he scratches Liz Tremayne's father. Nobody knows who he is and nobody cares. Why not scratch Liz Tremayne, at least we have seen her before and know a little about her? Then Sheriff Lucilia Cable gets scratched and all we learn is that although she is constantly busting her son's balls, she loves him deeply. Then Doctor Abby Arcane gets scratched and all we learn is that she was afraid someone might take her from her mother. This coming from someone who claims she killed her best friend. This could have been the perfect time to give us a little clue about what happened that day, but instead we got nothing. Think of the possiblities that could have been introduced if they had scratched some of the more interesting characters like: Maria Sunderland - already seeing her dead daughter, can she get any worse Avery Sunderland - horrible man, who has done horrible things Xanadu - even though blind, I bet she has seen some shit Daniel Cassidy - might have given some insight into why he is hanging around this crap town
  2. He was found passed out on the floor. He is living alone. She only took care of him until he was able to take care of himself. They obviously had a strong connection since she just walked straight into his house without even knocking.
  3. Article about some of the new characters in The Purge TV series. Seems like they are going to show more than people just killing each other with the elaborate heist arc. ‘The Purge’: Derek Luke, Max Martini, Paola Nuñez & Joel Allen Set As Series Regulars For Season 2
  4. I paid my electric bill, so I got to see the entire episode.
  5. Shouldn't the title of this forum be Helstrom, not Hellstrom.
  6. Which episode was it? I'll have to go back and find it to re-watch it apparently! There were only 3 episodes, I am pretty sure (not positive) it was in the 2nd episode "Made of Stone", where the man finds out his wife and kid has disappeared.
  7. Trading one terrible incurable disease for another is not a trade everyone would want to make. I wouldn't. I would if I knew one would absolutely work and I could live a relatively normal life. The leaving Seattle experimental cure, they may not be accepted, they don't have any money or place to live, and the treatment may not work, may not work very well or may not give you a good quality of life.
  8. Ryn has been running full speed through the forest for hours and her temperature is the same as it was when she was sitting on an examination table, 92 degrees Fahrenheit. The guys never mentioned how they got the sub to start working again, maybe one of the mermaids is a mechanic. Why exactly does the part-mermaid cult want to keep their bloodline pure? I can see them kidnapping one of the mermaids. Maybe even trying to mate with it. I wonder if there are any male mermen left since the only one we have seen left the ocean to become a human.
  9. Stupid mentions of mood rings changing color, when everybody knows mood rings change color based on skin temperature. They even mentioned that Zombie skin is cold when they looked at the infrared videos of the bar patrons. There was no reason to shoot General Mill's daughter because she would have returned to her normal Zombie self if they would have let her finish eating her human brain. She could have then identified her abductors and maybe told them what their plan was. They had enough Fillmore-Graves Zombies there is subdue General Mill's daughter and her boyfriend without hurting them.
  10. I thought it was weird that everybody was wearing handcuffs, but nobody was wearing seat belts, even though they are clearly visible.
  11. Not sure if it is liberties so much as being an overpowering force, men vs women, well-trained athletic solders vs drugged out hippies, armed vs unarmed, tactical armor vs tie-dyed muumuu. Rather than killing everyone they see, they just drag them out of the way, so the main force can proceed towards their objective. They are really only after one target, the only one that poses any threat. All the rest can be handled with a big hook and pulled off of the stage.
  12. Robin Givens is a little too old for the role she is playing, but I think it is a role that she really wanted to play. He role on Riverdale was getting squeezed out due to her daughter deciding to leave the show, so she probably jumped at the chance to be a headliner. I am guessing the guy that Amara Hughes (Essence Atkins) slept with in Savannah, will be making his way to Atlanta to help Stephanie Carlisle Lancaster (Robin Givens) torture Amara. Really Evan Lancaster (Brian J. White), do you really think Bella Tru's kid is yours?
  13. Great cat-fight, I am willing to put all of my money on a woman willing to kick another woman in the vagina to win a fight.
  14. I thought it was kind of weird that some of the kids seemed to be rich, have nice cars, houses, swimming pools whiles the others seemed to be middle class, but they all seemed to know each other, go to the same school, live in the same neighborhood and all seemed be getting along together. Am I missing something, how big is this "suburb?" Is that how they are normally arranged?
  15. At first I thought time travel girl was from the future, traveling back to visit the past. It appears she can easily travel back in time a few hours, as many times as she likes. It seems weird that she is just now listening to the tape about how to use her powers, I think they wrote it that way so we could learn about her powers. It might have made more sense if she was remembering the time travel rules in her head, rather than listening to them on her headphones.

  21. At first, I thought the regulars were not going to make an appearance at all during this episode. I am not really a fan of time travel since you can pretty much have infinite do-overs until you get the outcome you want. I thought David was strong enough to fight Division 3 by himself, with a little help from his Lenny. David shouldn't need a time travel crutch.
  22. Pennyworth is 10 episodes on Sundays at 9pm EST on Epix starting July 28th. The story is about the adventures of Alfred Pennyworth (Batman's butler) and Thomas Wayne (Batman's father) set in London during the 1960's.
  23. I just figured she stole it from some movie I hadn't watched, the same as everything else she says when she is trying to appear knowledgeable about a topic.
  24. The show was incredibly lax about portraying people who know how to work with infectious diseases. Episode 1, Dr. Arcane is walking to a barrel to burn her hemorrhagic fever tainted gloves, but before she does that, she uses the infected gloves to grab her scrubs, rubbing her infected gloves all over it, then she grabs her favorite friend, rubbing her infected gloves all over him. She burns the scrubs and one of her gloves, the other infected glove she removes with her bare hand and leaves in her hand and proceeds to rub it all over the file she was just handed. Dr. Arcane then goes to the hospital in Louisiana an tell everybody that when treating patients everybody must wear goggles and then the next scene she is visiting a patient without any eye protection. Episode 3, Dr. Arcane walks in on the autopsy by Jason Woodrue and gets very close to the body of an infected cadaver wearing street clothes, Woodrue is also inadequately dressed to be working on an infectious cadaver.
