Peacock is releasing an American version of the British series TV Series "Queer as Folk" originally created by Russell T. Davies and Stephen Dunn. The series will release all 8 episodes on Thursday, June 9. Starzplay has acquired the new TV series “Queer as Folk” for a number of territories including the U.K., several continental European countries, and Latin America. The eight-episode show will premiere in the U.K. on July 1, with other local premieres rolling out exclusively in the other territories on July 31. The release schedule will be two new episodes each week. The new Queer as Folk TV series considers itself more of a re-imagining of the previous shows, rather than a reboot. Queer as Folk aims to depict queer characters who live in the messy middle. People who are complicated, funny, caring, flawed and sometimes selfish, but still worthy of love, and still worthy of narrative by exploring the lives of a diverse group of friends in New Orleans whose lives are transformed in the aftermath of a tragedy, a Pulse-like nightclub shooting in a New Orleans gay bar called "Babylon". This is the story of how the city’s LGBTQ community rebuilds itself. Fin Argus plays Mingus, a cocky high schooler whose confidence belies their lack of real world experience. Devin Way plays Brodie, a charming and sometimes chaotic commitment-phobe who finds a reason to stay in New Orleans after tragedy rocks his community. Brodie and Ruthie Jesse James Keitel plays Ruthie, a trans, semi-reformed party girl who is struggling to grow up. Ruthie and Shar CG plays Shar, a non-binary professor navigating the rocky transition from punk to parenthood. Johnny Sibilly plays Noah, a successful lawyer who is not as put together as he seems. Noah and Daddius Chris Renfro plays Daddius, a fun-loving hedonist who is always the life of the party Ryan O'Connell plays Julian, a pop culture nerd with cerebral palsy who is more than ready for some independence. Kim Cattrall plays Brenda, a martini-soaked, high society southern debutant with trailer park roots, the single parent of Julian and Brodie. Juliette Lewis plays Judy, a single mom who is more of a friend than a parent to her LGBTQ teenage son Mingus. Ed Begley Jr. plays Winston, an emotionally distant father. Armand Fields plays Bussey, the reigning drag queen and matriarch of the local scene. Eric Graise plays Marvin, a jaded barfly who DNGAF about your problems. Sachin Bhatt plays Ali, a charming and empathetic sex worker. Benito Skinner plays Jack Cole Jordan, a self-aggrandizing influencer. Lukas Gage plays Eric, a personal trainer. Megan Stalter plays Meg, an aspiring singer. Meg and George Olli Haaskivi plays George, a friend from the mall. Calvin Seabrooks plays Taylor, a reluctant dinner party guest. Nyle DiMarco plays Leo, a charming graduate student. Peacock’s ‘Queer as Folk’ Creator on Gun Violence Depicted in the Series: ‘I Hate That the Show Is as Relevant as It Is Right Now’

I was reading the Prime Video X-Ray Trivia for this episode. The little kid who keeps teleporting around when Hughie was visiting the Compound V Kids Adoption Agency, Red River, is Madelyn Stillwell's kid Teddy, his mother was killed by Homelander's laser eyes while she was holding the baby in the last episode of Season One. Gunpowder's license plate is 2A4EVER for 2nd Amendment Forever.

Hospital, I think that is Homelander's apartment. I really liked everything that happened in this episode, except the scenes with Mother's Milk, but I can see why he will probably come back to The Boys.

They could have cut all of the Gordon flying around shooting droids scenes. I didn't really want to see much Gordon after he expressed his hatred of Isaac. The drone shooting was nothing but fluff and it also seemed unsafe to fly an experimental space vehicle so close to other space vehicles. Exploding drones at a space port is all kinds of irresponsible and the small pieces might get sucked into the engines of the other space vehicles. Just seeing how close the space vehicles were to each other and the weird maneuvers they were doing at the space port made me feel that there was no logic to how the place was being run and that this is not how space ports will be operated in the future.
