What was the point of Alessandra Ambrosio? Gordon: "What would you cook, Alessandro?" Alessandro: "I would put salt on the skirt steak & grille it!" Wow, girl, did you think that recipe up all by yourself? Salt AND grilling????? Truly inspired. And then she couldn't even hang around long enough to taste anything.

Evan, you're a moron. You keep talking about impressing the judges, why do you keep arguing with them?

Noah gets on my nerves, he's such a brownnose.

Not sure if Evan's arrogance isn't  producer driven.

I had the same thought.  I also wondered why a couple of those trucks just happened to have Old Bay on hand when they normally wouldn't use it.

I always wonder if those people are really driving in scenes where they're behind the wheel.  I can see scenery going by but often they don't have seat belts on which I would think production would insist on if they're really on the road.

I'm not sure what I think about the vegan gals and their problems.  They all seemed nice but I wasn't sorry to see them take all their drama and leave.  I was glad the Idaho guys didn't end up on the bottom.

Old Bay is a staple when making seafood poorbo sandwiches.

  3. Just got to watch the last episode and it reminded me of the ending of Nashville when they wrote Connie Britton out of the series.  Lot of mellow drama followed by last minute survival and then when you think that everything is going to be okay, being t-boned in an accident.  Nashville did exactly the same scenario.

He's an anesthesiologist. Do they have client bases? There are plenty of reality shows that have women with Dr. husbands that appear on the show. Some of the women are Dr's themselves.  If Cam's husband doesn't want to appear on the show then so be it, however, it makes Cam look out of place on the show to film in her house, go to parties and events without her husband. If the producers are fine with it then it will continue on that way. This show is circling the drain anyway. Every reality show needs a good villan and with Thomas gone this show sucks.

I said patient not client.  Not sure that a board certified doctor wants to subject his private life to tv.

It really makes me respect Cam more that her husband isn't on the show.  She deserves to have a life outside of the camera's and to keep certain aspects personal.  Back when Ozzie and Sharon had their show, the oldest daughter refused to be on the show if I remember right. Plus with editor manipulation being able to make a person look good or bad, it is just too risky if you have an actual career that doesn't need to be promoted.

It's not out of respect that Cam's husband isn't on the show, he's a doctor with a patient base and as such has enough common sense about his career not to appear and talk about his home life.

I liked the Navarre Fl couple.  He was picky and particular, but at least they both had a good sense of humor about it.  I liked in the beginning that he bragged about her job since she didn't know how to describe her career because she wasn't practicing law at the moment.

Didn't think that the second house they looked was craftsman style at all.  More of a somewhere in time ranch.

There are 2 black women who have names that begin with a K.  Keturah is the one from London and knew how to fry fish.  Kimberly was the one eliminated last night for reasons I've already forgotten but maybe around the mushroom cottage cheese?

Joe's compliment just felt like so much condescension.  It made me want to take a shower, it was so oily.  I didn't believe he believed what he was saying for an instant.

If I never have to hear Watu talk about how he's a vegetarian again I'd be happy. I'm sure it is producer influenced, but there have been vegetarian chef's before and I don't recall us getting hit over the head with how they never did this, that or the other thing because they're vegetarian.

I like Jamie and Dorian a lot. I hope they go far. Both Keturah and Michael's appearances made me wonder where they came from since I had no recollection of them at all.

Actually rooting for Subru to get the axe after watching him walking around during the pool party episode eating food instead of cooking.

I thought Cameran came off very well in the last episode and she looked terrific.  The prior episodes made her look like a complainer so I breathe a sigh of relief that is over.    It was clear to me she wanted to hire a nanny and so she did and I think this could make for some very amusing episodes.

Still think that Cameran comes off as a complainer.  Hire a nanny already.  All she does is complain about being a Mother and goes from the extreme of smell the baby clothes to giving Palmer a bottle to drink  when Palmer is flat on her back (would think that the child would choke drinking it this way).  At least hold up her.

Is it possible that Kathryn has a low IQ? I'm not trying to be mean,  I am just  shocked at her lack of common sense and inability to do common tasks with any competence. Even her table manners make it look like she was raised by wolves.  She put her expensive china in a microwave- risky thing to do for someone who says she loves it.  She points to the microwave with her leg telling the date to get the food.   Scary.  She also talks very slowly, like she can't think quickly.  Maybe that's not relevant I don't know.

In terms of her hair, it looks like she adds hair to cover what might be roots or a bald spot.  It does not look natural or good.

On the topic of Shep, he comes off badly in this episode, and I'm not sure for me he can recover.

And on top of that she doesn't even know how to set a simple table (everything backwards).

    Definitely just for the show.

    No kidding. Jax and Shep.

Not talking about day care or preschool.  Did preschool for my sone when he was growing up and some people need daycare to take care of their children so that they can work.  Talking about sending your baby out when you are staying home and doing nothing.

On this show, guys' fight > girls' fight x1,000,000

Kathryn and that guy had no chemistry.  Their conversation was so damn stilted.  "Oh.  Meatballs.  As an Italian-American, I love meatballs."  Good stuff.   Kathryn just wants a wallet.  She was raised that way. She is making that expensive apartment look like trash.  Literally.

Eliza, Kathryn doesn't have a problem with you.  She doesn't care about you.  Huge difference.

Naomie is a terrible rider.  I'm a little tired of Danni's hurt.  She shouldn't be so surprised that Kathryn is being selfish.

I'm very slowly starting to see that there may be more to Madison than meets the eye.  I thought she was kind of trashy when she first came on.  I am reserving my opinion for a later date.

Ok.  Sigh. I miss Thomas.  I miss Ashley!

On the bright side, we finally got Patricia's visit to McDonalds.  But.....no ketchup?  Paired with red wine?  Yuck.

Other than horses and a brief shot of Tyson, no pets this ep!  I missed Bethany.  She has eclipsed even Gizmo in her cuteness.

I am really not feeling Cameran on this one.  To the nanny: "Do you believe in astrology?"  I mean, what the fuck?  Talking to Jason on the phone because he won't make a live appearance? Reminds me of Drita D'Avanzo from Mob Wives.  (Not sure if anyone is familiar with that show, but it's generally not a good thing to get compared to Drita D'Avanzo from Mob Wives.  Under any circumstances).

Did anyone else notice Katherine's attempt to set a table.  Didn't she ever learn how growing up.

Can't get over the fact that Cameron ships out her one year old to a "preschool".

More Tyson, please!  The way he looks at Chelsea makes my heart hurt.  Sure he loves boys' night out with Grampa, but Chelsea is his universe and you can see the love in his eyes when he looks at her.

Loved Parricia's segment on guilty pleasure food.  What is up with Costco hot dogs?  This isn't the first time I heard a well-to-do person rave about them.

$1.50 for a hot dog and refillable drink at Costco is quite the deal.

It seems like she would have held the baby on her lap while she fed her, instead of having her lie down on that pillow thing. That seemed so awkward, but maybe that is just me.

The clips of Katherine driving the car with no hands on the wheel, while talking on the phone. Good lord.

Thought the same thing about giving a toddler a baby bottle when the child is flat on her back.  Might choke.

I’m with both of you. Those prices are ridiculous, IMO. $20 for a po-boy? Just a po-boy, nothing else. Uh, no. 🤨

I wanted someone to tell Tyler that the service slowed down because they had to shell peanuts.

I still think Sol Collective, or whatever there name is, should be penalized for not using the featured ingredient.

Can't believe Tyler suggested the price hike on food.  Got to be a tv kind of moment.  Never have seen food trucks with those kind of prices unless they were selling lobster rolls.

    1. And commissioned officers, of course. In that scene LCDR Blackburn and CPT Harrington.

    2. I was a bit surprised that it was prepared Budweiser that they pinned on the casket. I always thought that the operators took the insignia from their breast then put it on the casket.

Speaking of which, who was the additional Senior Chief in that detail? He was apparently close to the team as he sat next to Hays in the bar.

Thought the same thing about the additional Senior Chief.  Wondering if he is an actual seal advisor.

They might be showing the exterior of some random home (with permission of course), as they often do on reality TV, to avoid stalkers.  The Kardashians have always done this....the exteriors of their homes are never their actual homes.

Two military questions (because I'm not military):

    1) Jason is a Master Chief, so his dress uniform is different from the others, but is the rest of the team all the same rank?  Between their uniforms and their hair, I was having a difficult time telling some of the guts apart at the funeral.

    2) What were they pounding into/onto Brett's coffin?

I thought it was a good season finale that would have served as a series finale if we hadn't been renewed.  I'm glad the producers had enough awareness about that when they thought about the episode.

So, Jason did sell the house.  It certainly seems like the show is moving the kids off of the canvas, which makes sense from a storyline/show perspective, but it is a bit lazy.  I bet we won't see them that much next season.

I don't care about Mandy.  She's still as dull as dirt to me.  I will be interested in what the show does with Davis to keep her part of the canvas.

They were slapping their Trident wings into the coffin as a sign of respect for a fallen comrade.
