I'm going to go back and re-watch.  I didn't catch that.  It's good to know that other people are obsessed with this show.  My boyfriend thinks I am out of my mind.

It is in this clip as well.

Ok, well there you have it. It's completely obvious now why Allie was cut. She looked very out of shape, she fell during her solo and her solo wasn't good to begin with....

Raylee's solo was meh as well. Definitely not 3 year vet caliber.

There was a previous post(can't find it) that had Allie's solo and that was a planned fall...Maybe the judges did not know it was planned.

  3. I just watched the show again. If you look at the 31.24 Neil, Melissa and Ramos comment on Katelynn...They were looking at the Jumbotron and they mentioned she did not do anything for them...Sometimes the Jumbotron is a make or break thing. I think she is beautiful, poised and was a good dancer. Did anyone else catch that. This happened to a few girls last year as well. I wonder what makes that difference. She seemed like a sweet girl. Kelli said something as well about Alexandra..the field was swallowing her.

Question, I know K & J like the DCC to be community ambassadors and either work or attend school. Can someone list all the DCC with either their job or school? I'd love to know what these girls do when not cheering. Curious as to what the new DCC are doing since many have moved to the Dallas area.

This is for last year's squad...click on their name and it will tell you their stats with their occupation

  5. I loved getting to know some of the TCC's beyond still photos online. I love Rachel from Plano, TX. I know this sounds crazy but Celinda reminded me a little like Drew Barrymore when she was being interviewed.

  6. The interesting thing about this TCC group who are now DCC is that 4 of them were on NFL teams before. Lauren was a Dolphin cheerleader, Alexandria was on the Patriots for 4 years and a fifth teaching also was a Pro Bowl cheerleader, Savannah and Tara were on the Jets' team. While they are learning the DCC style, they have experience cheering at NFL games. That will definitely be an asset for the team:)

Personally I don't mind if the cheerleaders are from different parts of the county or world when they come to audition. It just shows the reputation and appeal of DCC. Just like some of the biggest cowboys fans don't live in Dallas or even in Texas. I would prefer to cheer for my team or a team that I idolize, rather than cheering for my home team just because I live near the stadium, which for me would be the redskins or ravens.

It reminds me of something I've heard my other older family members say. On Sundays they would see the players in the game, and on Tuesday's they would see them at the grocery store or hardware store. Back when they were more regular people. when more of them actually played where they grew up/lived.

My 83 year old aunt has always loved Dallas as well as my nephew. Which is a brave stance to take in Philly;)

I posted my feelings about Kalyssa not knowing this in the episode 2 thread, so I won't repeat myself here.  I hadn't seen this other preview with Dayton not knowing!  But Dayton did not make it into training camp, and I imagine that this is one reason why.  I also think she could tone up (I refuse to say she looks heavy, because she absolutely does not), and she can work a little more power into her movements and smile.  She has some things to work on, but I think trying out this year was a great experience for her and her mom and this will help her know what areas to work on (knowledge/interview preparation, the test [as per a Shelly comment earlier], muscle tone, and "performance, power, and projection."  That's not a short list, but if she wants to make the team, now she has some concrete areas to focus on.  I'd love to see her try out again and be better all around!  I think she's lovely, seems sweet and like a team player, and also young enough to grow into the skills and role of a DCC.

I am confused...I watched the preview at the end of the show again...They showed Dayton...but when the question about who the first lady was it was Kalyssa who answered that she did not know...Are you sure that Dayton did, because I did not get that impression from the preview.

Hahahahahaha I noticed that too... she was seriously the only chick outside after auditions without a shirt on! And I'm sorry, but if she really was valedictorian and chose to be a Thunder dancer in lieu of college, that's just pathetic. Do both. Maybe she couldn't afford college, and if that's the case, then I'm a jerk.

I did happen to read on her FB page that she had a fundraiser in her town selling T shirts to raise money to get to Texas. I got the impression she does not have a lot of $$$.
