If anything those comparisons actually makes Arrow looks worse than The Flash. TV Ratings have been dropping sharply every year all accross the board since 2016, wether it be the Networks (ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, CW) or the Cable channels. On top of that, The CW keeps losing affiliates every single year. Arrow S4 & S5 ran respectively : - S4 : from October 2015 to May 2016 - S5 : from October 2016 to May 2017 The Flash S4 & S5 ran respectively: - S4 : from October 2017 to May 2018 - S5 : from October 2018 to May 2019 And yet The Flash still manages to get similar ratings to Arrows with a 2 year gap for each season. Just take all the above factors in consideration and let that sink in.

Indeed. Not only people have stopped watching TV in general but the CW has been losing affiliates every single year. That's why i find it laughable when people keep saying "remember when X or Y or Z show had 3 millions viewers now it can only get 1.2 millions ...". It's technichally impossible for The CW to ever reach the threshold of 2.5 millions viewers let alone 3 millions ever again regardless if a show is having a good or bad season (writting & quality wise).

In terms of demo , The Flash is tying with its series low (it already hit a 0.5 in the past) it wasn't a new series low, and on top of that, The Flash was also severely preempted this week in the NY market (baseball match) which is pretty much The CW biggest market. I've been watching SPN for 13 years now (i have yet to come to terms that it's ending next year), i'm very proud of its journey and ratings performance and i would have loved for SPN to be CW #1 show at some point. Maybe next year for its farewell season.

I don't think it has anything to do with Felicity to be honest ! Flash episode was shown Sunday which is a much more competitive day than Monday. However Batwoman introduction might have been a draw.

Actually, The Flash S4 premiered with a 1.1 demo and Black Lightning S1 premiered with a 0.8 demo. The rest is accurate, though.
