  1. Here are dishes that would send Matthew home: - Making coq au vin in Alton Brown's Comeback Kitchen - Loco Moco. Lol. - Penny Davidi's French Hater Soup
  2. In Matthew language, I would say, that yes, I am excited for him to win. He and Tregaye will be the best partners ever.
  3. Oh, I'm sorry, I meant Cutthroat Kitchen. Thank you for telling me.
  4. I claim right for his 'coq au van' mistake 2 weeks ago. Yeah, I wish it would have been Emilia instead of him.
  5. I would never watch Matthew on his show. He is so self endearing, arrogant, and smug. He even made fun of somebody for their presentation. Here are the shows I would watch: - I would watch Jason's show. He knows how to cook, while being funny, humorous, and energetic at the same time. - Although I did not watch Comeback Kitchen, I would also watch the butt he kicked. Or, perhaps I shall say, the lady he beat to get in the finals (Jameka). - I didn't watch Season 11, but Emilia, the lady with curly brown hair, would have been a heck of a good show host. She seems calm and relaxed. - I loved Nancy Fuller, but not as a judge. Is her show still on? - I would watch Tregaye's show, unlike most Previouslies. I just can't get enough of her "on fleek" personality. Her cooking was also pretty good. - Damiano is also another good person I would watch, even though I think he is a bit folksy. Next episode, I really hope Matthew not only gets the boot, but is banned from FN forever. If he wins, I will only be watching certain shows on Food Network.
  6. She was eliminated on Episode 7 of the season where Aaron McCargo or some guy won. I really hope Alton doesn't return for Food Network Star. Sure, he's a nice guy, and he would definitely stand up for Matthew, but I don't like how he sabotages people in his Comeback Kitchen show. It's dirty, it's smug, and it's horrific. I saw a couples episode back on Valentine's Day and Kathy and I don't remember who the husbands name was (probably Jon?) sabotaged all the other couples to have sex while they're cooking. When I saw that, I was like, "I'm over all the sabotages." Too bad Addie (Valentina Lisitsa-lite) didn't return for the competition. But, as I stated in another thread, the best job for her would be a nurse practitioner.
  7. I loved the decor at the end of the Victorian episode. Karen needs to be replaced. Anita Corsini can replace her. She's a great host and I would see the two getting along together. It was a great idea they moved the poison ivy off the tree. I would agree with Tahitigirl about the trellis. The trellis was beautiful. I think they provided a lovely atmosphere for the client.
  8. I love Jason. You should vote for him. He is a great comedian to watch. Heck, he could even replace Bill Cosby for a modern Cosby Show!
  9. His stupid sayings? His Forrest Gump/Gomer Pyle voice? His personality?
  10. Penny Davidi? I got a sample of her on the FN website. And Kelsey was in the season before Melissa's season.
  11. Oh, I thought they did notify the winner. I watched the first episodes of Food Network Star when they had people like Ina Garten and the infamous Paula Deen. When did they start Star Salvation?
  12. Why didn't they tell us who the winner was in the video? I really wanted to find out, but I know that David is not rejoining the competition.
  13. Thank Newborn Jesus Amy is out. I was a bit surprised with the decision but I was glad to see her get sent home. Amy is the only woman left who is Scarlett Johansson with her attitude, behavior, and cooking skills. I would love to see Jason win the whole thing, but I would also like to see Matthew get the boot.
  14. Since Addie the Jazz Pianist left, Cory and David are the ones still left. So I wonder who's gonna get shown the doom of hell next week, or should I say, get back in the competition with Jason, Rusty, and the dreaded Balthazar Bratt.
  15. As you can see, I'm really disappointed in this season. This is not Food Network Star! It's more like Food Network Party-All-You-Want-Star. I'm sorry, but I don't see an actual star in this group of people at all, not even Jason. He may be funny and entertaining, but his cooking skills don't really impress me. Addie The Jazz Pianist was smug and bugged me, but I figured she would make it to the finals because she is a young Martha, a young Daniel. (Addie the Jazz Pianist was a nickname that I got from this lady that plays piano, if she ever retired, the replacement could be Addie: http://www.valentinalisitsa.com/) Heck, she could be the modern Dave Brubeck if she would play jazz piano. Cory was probably the most talented chef in the competition, so I hope he comes back through Comeback Kitchen, but for some reason I don't see him being the next food star either. Amy The Damaris From Hawaii is definitely not the next food network star, and I can see it in my eyes. David "Big Swole" or whatever his name is, is not material for this show at all, although I can see him having a sense of humor. I predict Jason will win this whole thing, because the person who comes back through Comeback Kitchen isn't usually the next FNS. The fan loser, Matthew, came through Comeback Kitchen, so, I would do 3 of the following: a) meet him in real life, b) chat with him on Skype, or c) say You gon' get eliminated soon (in a Jason accent). He is the evil one, the evil Balthazar Bratt himself. Imagine being stuck in a plane seat with him sitting next to you, not knowing when you'd get out. It'd be scary, ain't it? Oh, and boobs, boobs, boobs! I didn't forget about that. I'm betting Giada could be replaced by Valentina Lisitsa 2.0.
