I just finished watching the whole episode and... Oof Shushanna pull yourself together omg. I don't even want to harp on her too much because it feels wrong, she seems a bit disturbed and not all there.

I cannot believe it either! there is no accounting for taste I guess.

I absolutely loved that the other Jordan was comforting her while asking half confused: "So where you close to him?" LMAO like seriously I never saw her talking to Eric omg Yes! WTH is wrong with her, she also sort of picking her nose when NZ Jordan was trying to ask her out, sheesh how disgusting

I agree so much with this post, I feel exactly the same. I quit TWD and was enjoying fear because they had their own thing and better pace going on. I was actually excited that Morgan was crossing over because I do like the actor very much and now I watch this steaming pile of crap that has Gimple written all over it. I am so incredibly disappointed, it's the same slow mind numbing pace, the never ending idiotic monologues, meaningless artsy shots of shoes in the rain, close ups etc etc etc for the love of God ENOUGH, I just do not have it in me to watch another Gimple soap opera, that man should be banned from the writer's room forever. I'm giving it one more episode( i didn't finish this one), if it's the same TWD 2.0 I'm quitting and will get my zombie fix from reading the forums and watching Z Nation(Which I considered to be a much inferior show before, now I don't know).

OK I need to vent right now. I just watched the first 30 freaking minutes of FTWD premiere and I'm furious. Once again moron Gimple ruins a show I once liked. No sign of Madison or Alicia or ANY of the people I tuned in to see. I DO like Morgan in FTWD but did Jesus, Carol and Rick had to make an appearance hogging camera time and start a stupid idiotic boring ass monologue in the beginning? GTFO of my screen, I quit TWD for a reason, not to ever listen to another god damn monologue ever again. I can't believe they let Gimple co write this show too, for the love of God man, leave my shows alone. I don't want to quit this show too, if next episode is as boring as this one, I will get my zombie entertainment from following the social media and this forum just as I do with TWD. Now that I got that off my chest, I'll read the comments to see what you all think.

I really should get used to it, you're right they have done it since the beginning and I fall for it every time. I'm still in shock Coral tripped in the forest and he is gone. Beth and Tyresse were also utter ridiculous, I wish they had died guns blazing and taking some villains down with them.

I only recognized her from "New Girl" and I'm not even sure it was the same actress, she was supposed to be in a love triangle with one of the main actors and I didn't like that character either. She really does have a knack for playing initially sweet turned obnoxious characters. Tyresse death episode was all kinds of crazy, someone mentioned "Lost" and that's exactly the feel it had, I have no clue what the message was supposed to be. Does anyone miss the garbage people at all? it's hilarious that they were never mentioned again after they turned into soylent green that episode and people are still talking about Glenn and Abe(and of course Carl).

Haha Yes! she was totally flying under the radar when she was surrounded by superior actors. Before that episode I never noticed how completely out of depth she is compared to the others. omg that episode...Denise acted stupid the whole friggin episode, she didn't even have to go on that run, but she was hellbent on proving she was as tough as the others. Also risked her and Daryl's life getting a stupid soda. When she started her really loud speech, I was sure she was going to die. However I thought it would be a walker that would get to her since she was stupidly raising her voice. I hate when they take characters and make them act unbelievably stupid all of the sudden just to justify their demise.

Now that I think about Tara, (keep in mind I only watched seasons 1 thru season 7 epi 10) I didn't hate her before her Oceanside episode. In fact I did like her sister and little niece during the governor days. I even understood why Tara was on board attacking the prison since she didn't know better and later regretted it. But I drew the line when they(she and Heath) went to Oceanside, I hated that episode with a passion. Since the attention was solely focused on her, I found her character unbelievably childish, obnoxious and completely clueless.

THIS is infuriating. I watched a clip of that scene and I feel they were trying to manipulate me into caring for Negan. Oh look Negan's voice trembled, he cares, he loved Carl. Blech give me a break he only got upset because he had dibs on killing Carl and a walker got to the kid first. And didn't he try to bash his head in one episode? a milisecond before cgi Shiva attacked a savior on command. anyway rant over, I just hate stupid Negan and his stupid bat. Good for her! at the rate TWD is killing all the popular characters I reckon she doesn't have much time left on the show, better for her to move on to bigger things.

Thanks for the link! WOW that has got to sting for sure. Even with all the backlash I still thought they were going to pull bigger numbers. I'm definitely in the group that skipped the premiere, hell I haven't seen season 8 at all, I will forever miss little Coral.

Does anyone know what the ratings were for this episode? curious to see if they were able to raise the ratings like they wanted.

So happy to see him moving on! also I agree with the killing Rick theory. Not that they should kill him but that the writers are planning to. I think they want to start fresh without the original cast except maybe Daryl. I think they had a huge crush with the Neegan character and want to make him happen at all cost. I can't remember if it was Kirkman who said TWD story line may outlive Rick Grimes and that he wouldn't necessarily be there until the end.

This is a good idea, I'm switching to FTWD and I like it so far, so I would love to see Andrew Lincoln there too. Of course just my luck, Gimple took over that show now too. Let's hope he doesn't completely destroys it.

I'm out too, I've been for a while. After reading the comments on TWD fb page, I'm glad I didn't watch. I'm curious as to what the ratings will be after the premiere. I'm sure there will be enough viewers to avoid cancellation but curious to see if the rating do indeed drop.

Wow, so the rumors are true...oof can't believe they thought this was a good decision. I dropped the show back when they killed off Glenn but was going to give season 8 a shot since I reasoned : well Glenn's death was in the comics so they are trying to be respectful to the original story blah blah . However, Carl's death makes absolutely no sense. So much potential for stories there now that he was almost grown up, one of my favorite scenes were the father and son team offing walkers left and right. How can they do something so detrimental to the whole premise of the show, wow...

I agree I hated how Rachel grabbed the rose right before dumping Fred's butt, I didn't like how she totally ratted out Lee and Bryce to Eric, aside from that I'm loving this season and Rachel overall. By the way alittle OT but kinda related, I just read bachelor in paradise has been cancelled so I don't think any of these guys will get the chance to go, happy I don't have to see whaboom's face again since he was soooo bachelor in paradise material.

Oh. my. God. I haven't seen ANYONE as annoying as this guy in my entire life. What is his problem, I agree with the dude that confronted him, he is sooo not there to find a wife. I also agree 100% with you and I will add that he can whaboom himself out of the show anytime, the sooner the better.

I agree, he has progressed as a player and I don't understand why some comments say he will never win if he gets to the end, no matter what. I don't agree at all. Tai has a very good chance to win if he gets to the end, depending on who sits next to him.

I agree 100%, IMO the show went downhill from then on. From the catastrophic move by Varner (that would never have happened with Sandra there) to the now catastrophic move by Cirie. To boot, I really, really dislike Sarah. I think I'm rooting for Brad and Aubrey out of spite.
