  1. You think they will air the 1997 episode with Alec Baldwin and Tina Turner?
  2. I absolutely agree with you there. Gaetz is getting was too much coverage and Rachel should have focused more on other topics instead. Besides a few supports from the other group, I don't think he is that well-liked.
  3. Saved by The Bell star Mark Paul Gosselaar says this episode of SBTB will not get made today and he's still convinced it will not I remember the Native American episode. It's funny because Mark is half Dutch/Jewish and half Indonesian descent. I think his mother is Indonesian. I could have imagined how he felt about that episode.
  4. How many episodes did George Segal did?
  5. Dermatologists says that Gwyneth Paltrow's use to applying sunscreen is dangerous
  6. Wheel of Fortune contestant loses over technicality and fans aren't having it I hate to play Devil's advocate, but I think they made the right decision. Your thoughts?
  7. Rachel's interview with AOC made my mom hold her breath whenever she speaks. I am use to her speaking her mind, but my mom has issues whenever she does speak what is on her mind. Such as a bigger $10 trillion infrastructure bill she proposed and adding her own list of problems that should be addressed, etc. I love AOC's passion and all, but she can't win too much with my mom. My mom is more of a Pelosi/Schumer fan, but she can only take AOC in small doses. Again her opinion only. All my other Puerto Rican relatives love her, but Mom is pretty neutral when it comes to her. She doesn't hate or love AOC. Rather, she is pretty meh on her whenever she is on TV. Again, her own opinion.
  8. William Shatner thinks there is a #Metoo generation gap: "People of a certain age took a certain freedom."
  9. Interesting that Tina Turner never liked that song. Wow, the original was pretty 80s bad. So glad Tina turned it into a classic.
  10. I almost vomit when I heard that Matt Gaetz story broke out. Interesting that the party is very silent about it, though. Why am I not shocked about that?
  11. She was singing in other late 1920s-1930s MGM films as well. She never had a strong voice to begin with.
  12. Capitol Records condemns late former exec's reprehensible past racist comments on Tina Tuner Geez, some things never change. Disgusting....WTF?
  13. Luke Evans, Olga Kurylenko, and Jacob Tremblay to feature in upcoming film Bear Season
  14. That fourth wave is scary. Even my state (NY) is opening up too early. I wondered if the governors or mayors would listen to Dr. Walensky. It does sound serious when she mentions we are opening too early because of these new variants. Your thoughts?
  15. Well, I try to have an explanation on these sort of things, but I don't. It is just that Tina was doing assisted suicide when she had kidney failure, which is legal in Switzerland. But when her second husband donated his kidney, she stopped.
  16. I wondered who would be the next person they cast. Any guesses?
  17. And that's the way to say what's there. Bravo, Ms. Nora Roberts.
  18. My guess? Hereditary. Actually, Tina did have kidney failure, has PTSD, a stroke, and among other health issues. The Oprah conversation tells about Tina receiving her second husband's kidney. They were together for more than 25 years and to think it went back to the 80s. That's quite remarkable. That's dedication. I am so glad she found a person that cared. Reminds me of Annette Funicello's husband Glen Holt who was with her all the time.
  19. The part where Tina Turner expresses anger was one of the rare moments in that clip. Hearing her voice raised to an anger level and the banging of her hand on the table is the perfect way to sum her frustrations. Hearing her late son in that old interview discussing the trauma of what he saw, Jesus.....no one should suffer for it. And I am with her son: apology, my ass. It was not sincere. Poor guy.
  20. I know. Other than Ike himself, her mother was really something. Your daughter gave you a home and you act like that still? Tina deserved much better. It is wonderful she married a nice European gentleman. It is not mentioned in the documentary, but she had kidney failure and suffered a stroke. Her husband offered his kidney to her and Tina being modest, did not want him to do that. She always insisted that he was young and that Tina was old, but he was adamant about it. That’s dedication. Another thing is that she still suffers from PTSD. She did left with grace. And her new mansion in Zurich is really something. Seeing a picture of teenaged Tina Turner is something. However, the pictures of Tina shows what an magnetic presence she was, even when they showed her not in the best moments. You still saw that charisma she always carried with her.
  21. Anybody watch this! I was getting teary-eyed when near the end of the documentary they showed present day Tina at the Broadway play musical and everyone giving a standing ovation. What a life she lived. Damn, those talks about Ike from interviews. WTF?
  22. Jeff Garlin's complexion scares the crap out of me more than the late George Segal. White-gray hair, thin ruby red lips, and unhealthy pallor...I tell you, when Garlin yells, I expect a heart attack and him keeling over. I hate to sound tragic, but when he yells, I say things like please take it down a notch. And I thought John Goodman's unhealthy skin was worrisome. Since the last few seasons, Garlin's skin tone was off and with the drastic weight loss, I am concerned.
  23. That is why it is necessary to pass these bills now!
