  1. The opener seemed like it was edited by a high school kid. Still far better than usual...
  2. I don't blame it, actually. TTD is harder and harder to endure. I swear that annoyingly frantic rave music they play whenever Chris Hardwick has to stop talking for thirty seconds gets louder every single season
  3. From the title, I was hoping it was going to be an episode where they dress up as monsters and infiltrate Negan's Halloween party. Rick would be a wolfman, Coral would be a mummy (with bandaging over the hat to try to hide it,) Heath would be The Invisible Man, Tara would be a ghost eating Twizzlers, and Daryl would be Cousin It.
  4. If I had to sit through that whole recital, I would have cried too.
  5. Obviously I'm not the target audience for Alex's maternal issues. My take on it was "Children are obnoxious and Maggie is hot as hell, do the math." But if it is gonna be a thing, I really struggle to believe that sitting through the musical recital of your sister's co-worker's completely untalented kid is going to be the final straw. Either let the whole thing just be a big philosophical difference that eventually hits critical mass on its own, or come up with a better "aren't children precious?" moment. And the Reign storyline seriously needs a fast-forward button. But besides all that, yeah, I enjoyed this week. Maybe this season will give us a good strong early streak before the inevitable return of Monorail.
  6. Well, it wasn't particularly good, but it was better. No Negan speeches, no weird time lapses or dream sequences, and when they didn't shoot bad guys at least they bothered to explain why. I give this one a C. Last week wasa good solid F.
  7. What is this ending? Did the show have an epiliectic seizure?
  8. The good guys need to start dressing up as Negan. That way absolutely nobody on either side will ever just shhot them.
  9. Carol needs to stop babysitting these LARPERS and just go kill Negan.
  10. Wasn't the plan last week to waste 10,00 bullets, make everybody except Negan surrender, and then have a zombie horde kill them all? So, apparently that's the plan for dealing with enemy populations. Maybe that's when you should have stopped fighting for Rick.
  11. Well, Morgan, that jail cell just got very crowded.
  12. Tara's a badass now. I need to start eating more Twizzlers.
  13. Zeke, you're awesom when you have a tiger. But without one, you're just long-winded and pretentious. I suppose probably you always are, but the tiger is cool enough to get you some leeway.
  14. So Jesus is becoming Pacifist Morgan... does everyone just pass their crazies to the next character when they're done with them? Is Coral talking on a phone to Lori?
  15. FPP's like "Dude! I was gone for one episode! And you found a new Pee Guy?"
  16. Well, I think we're about due now to hear negan talk more about the shitting pants.
  17. So is there actually a narrative to this season, or it just a bunch of random scenes like "Eraserhead?"
  18. Carol is way behind on her dusting. Use that ragmop Zeke's wearing.
  19. I can't wait to see all those armored cars hit a bump and fall over sideways. Or, you know, just get ambushed from the other side... I like Diane. So... goodbye, Diane.
  20. Even Negan's people are more organized than Rick's.
