I just wasn't clear what you meant by performer. If it's doesn't include that actual dance then I could see how some might think Rashad was the best last week. I would argue Simone or Nancy but he obviously had an emotional dance. Simone and Nancy brought emotion and actual dancing though. imo

Only if dance is not counted as part of the performance. It wasn't a dance, it was just lifts. If anyone is being pimped it's him. Regardless of pimping and scores, that are never fair, I think we all know who the top three according to the show will be.

Yes please! They are bound to have musical guests, let her dance during those performances. I laugh that we are already talking like she is eliminated. This show is nothing if not predictable.

I'm disappointed because my favorites and Heather and Nancy. I'm hoping David somehow falls out and one of them can sneak in. The other three are complete locks.

I feel like Simone and Rashad are being pimped to the max. I think because Normani is so far and away ahead in the votes. She's on the way to an easy win in my opinion.

I hope she makes it to fourth place at least. She is for sure not winning. After this week I'm worried for every week after she'll get eliminated. I just need to see her free style. I'm ok with Maks sitting out her free style if she makes it that far. :) Give us a solo, maybe some of her friends backing her up.

That's what the celebrity basketball game is during all star weekend. They have professional women's players, retired male players and celebrities play together. I think they do a celebrity softball game but I'm getting way OT. I'm rooting for Heather as well, not to win I'm realistic about who's winning, but to just make it as far as possible. Also rooting for Nancy and really anyone who the show is not shoving down my throat.

She's not a professional ballroom dancer though. It's like Rashad going to try and play baseball. Since he's an athlete it would help but he's still not a baseball player. There have been so many contestants with dance experience and a couple that even had ballroom experience. I don't get the continuing talk about Heather. I guess because it's clear she so good. She's not going to win anyway so that should help some people out.

That's true of 99% of the people on this show.

Aside from all the technicalities and differences of opinion, this is exactly what the show wanted casting her. Every single dance, every single SM post has this same debate over and over. The show gets to have all this attention and online activity and with her not winning they get away not getting the ultimate backlash. Pretty smart. Sucks for Heather the show giving her middle placement every week, getting jazz you know that will be made a bid deal. It's certainly interesting to see how the show is playing this. It's weird to me that Nancy and Heather are getting such similar treatment though. I don't get why they are doing it to Nancy.

Heather quit dancing professionally to be an actress. That was around when Glee started. So pretty much exactly the same situation as Corbin except she has a more impressive dance resume. People hear the name Beyonce and that's all they focus on. That was ten years ago for two years. I agree realdancemom she's not going to win anyway and I have my doubts she'll even make the final even though I really want to see her freestyle.

I hate contemporary on this show so much. I also think it's a little questionable that some couples get live music and others don't.

Totally. The show knows exactly what they are doing. Maks, who has never done jazz, is choreographing though so that evens things out in my mind. ha.

Scores are such garbage if you compare the contestants. I mean I know it must be hard to judge such a variety of talent but it's still funny to see what the judges pull out.

I feel Nancy and Heather are going to meet the same fate and be out long before some others I would like to see go.

She said she hasn't had any ballroom training so I'm just taking her word on that. I think with that Tango what you saw was how quickly she is able to improve because she's a dancer. I know a lot of people see no growth in her but if you compare her first dance to the Tango I see the improvement. I was shocked Carrie Ann mentioned it as well because I don't except her to notice anything like that.

I think the difference is timing of the injury between Maks and Sharna. I agree with completely about the rest. I think because he realizes Heather isn't winning. It's nice he was in rehearsal today.

I'm not arguing her dance ability. I'm just talking about my opinion on switching partners on dwts. Which is not just a dance show.

I understand your point and I know a lot of people feel that way, I'm going have to disagree though. Yes dancing is easier for her, but again she is not a ballroom dancer, in addition this is a live tv show, audience voting is involved. There are a lot of other factors other than oh she's a dancer. I know at the beginning of the switch Heather mentioned it was an easy switch for her physically but the emotional part was hard changing partners. I just feel she shouldn't have to change again after building a partnership with Alan for so many weeks. I just saw an interview with Access Hollywood and Peta said Maks could be out for another two weeks. Time for him to withdraw in my opinion. Heather also hasn't been dancing professionally for quite some time now.

My question is if Maks missing next week too, how many weeks does he have to miss before it's a little unfair to Heather for him to come back especially since it happened so early. That would be 4 weeks with Alan, compared to one with Maks. The four women is my dream final but I know there will be a guy in there so hopefully it is Rashad over any others.

Which is unfortunate because she actually has a really funny personality. But people already have who they are voting for and the show has their picks, so I think it's a lost cause at this point. In another season Nancy would be a sure thing for the finals. I knew she would be good but she's even better than I expected.

Pretty sure Alan choreographed the cha cha as well as the tango. I saw it in an after show interview. I do think it's interesting Julianne both times has complimented Alan's choreography. Tons of content in both dances.

This has been a standout to me. Alan has choreographed the last two dances and it appears Maks hasn't been in rehearsals. When Sharna was injured she still choreographed and was there teaching James and instructing Jenna on her vision. I get the feeling that Heather doesn't really care though and is good with Alan.
