  1. We just spent the weekend with my DH sibs and cousins. Someone asked what my favorite restaurant is. I said any one that wasn't my kitchen. I'm tired of cooking.
  2. So Jill has been there every day? Unbelievable; talk about wearing out your welcome. (if they've ever been welcome) Even if they're in a private room, the chaos they must bring when in the common areas would make me scream if I were a parent of a child in NICU. Picture the amount of time it must take for all Rod visitors to wash hands, sanitize phones etc. And don't even get me started on the praying vs medical care!!!
  3. I had a Maytag for 23 years. I replaced it with the same because it was on sale and I didn't want to take my chances for it to go out on me. I have a basic fridge; smaller to fit the space and no icemaker or water in the door. Our old icemaker broke years ago and we've gotten used to using ice trays.
  4. Did you notice when they were singing "Jesus love you" that Jill panned to the woman in the headscarf? And YES to everyone mentioning the disturbance, germs and general inappropriateness of the whole family.
  5. I rarely watch any of Jill's videos, but did after seeing a mention of Kaylee's birthday. Kaylee looks SO uncomfortable with Jill filming. I want to slap Jill's phone out of her hands and tell her to give everyone privacy!!! I had twin preemie grandsons in NICU and there's no way that everyone could go see them!! Especially holding their hands. I had a nurse even correct me when I was patting one's back; she said it's better to just lay a hand on them, not pat.
  6. I'm sure Kaylee wanted to pose for smiley pictures with Jill. /s🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
  7. I was able to find Tim's home with the helpful description above. I'd like to know how many speeding tickets he'll rack up being right in a school zone!
  8. It is such an interesting article. Their daughter in school was talking about Punxsutawney Phil and the dad knew about groundhogs, but not Phil. From the article: "These were the gaps Aaron and Christina had become accustomed to finding as they learned about a world whose boundaries extended far beyond the one in which they had been raised. There were so many things they had not learned, and perhaps would never learn." How sad to think of how much you missed that you might not be able to catch up. Thank goodness they made the change for their children.
  9. @ginger90 I had the same thing happen, but thankfully my 3 year old granddaughter knew where the volume was!
  10. Oh @Nysha I am so sorry you are going through this. I hope this new boyfriend is out of the picture soon and you can be part of your grandchildren's lives.
  11. I also felt like I didn't remember this as I couldn't figure out how I could forget Jim beating Bobye. It was Jim Holt doing the beating, not Jim Bob!
  12. James is on a Carnival cruise. Wonder how he'll handle the partying?
  13. @Jeeves Have a wonderful time on your trip, I can't wait to read all about it!
  14. I have one called Picture This. I just checked and it does have a paid option, but I've been using it for a long time without a subscription. I don't tend to use it for anything more than identifying a plant.
  15. I noticed that all of the older girls are wearing pants and only younger are in skirts.
  16. If he bails, I bet Jill goes back and reveals who he is. No way will she let him get off scot free.
  17. I only noticed is that no one is wearing seatbelts and unrestrained people in the back. How these people have survived is amazing to me.
  18. How can it be perfectly new AND only worn once? Maybe she meant practically new?
  19. @JeevesThe book is available on Amazon prime for free, so I ordered it. I don't know if I'll read the whole thing, but I'll get a good idea. I'm not a fan of any organized religion and these separaitist ones can be especailly disturbing.
  20. @Scarlett45My granddaughter's other grandparents have a camper and I know they keep a stash of kids toys and games in it for when my son's family camps (tent) near them. Because it stays in the camper, it's a special occasion when they play with them. They might like a small basket of toys or crafts. Coloring books and crayons, sticker book, magic ink book, small portable games, sand toys. Or you could go the food route and get them s'more supples for the campfire.
  21. Can you share the youtubers name please? I'd love to convince DH to camp again!
  22. Even with the smaller crowd they're using disposable dinnerware. Their stryofoam will be in that landfill forever.
