  1. Yes. I always do that for some reason.
  2. FJ was an instaget. I didn't get any missed clues or run any categories. I had a horrible, horrible DJ. I did manage to get at least one right in each category and I had one category where I only missed one, but it was definitely not a shining moment for me.
  3. I have no idea if this take will be controversial or not. But, if it wasn't wrong for Nina to "rat" out Drew and carly (and it wasn't) and it was ultimately Drew and Carly's fault that Drew went to prison (it was), then it's also not Lois's fault that Carly is getting hated on. Nina is the one who informed the SEC AND who lied to her husband and daughter about it for months.
  4. It was a little odd coming after his big speech about how he can't be nice any more. If it's not midnight yet, he has plenty of time.
  5. She sort of did when she said anybody could have turned them in. Shockingly that did her no good. What the heck time was it supposed to be? Yesterday they already had the fireworks and the Savoy(?) seemed to be closed. yet today, Laura and company were still out and Martin said it was already the New Year in Singapore, implying that it was not yet midnight in PC. Also, I remember Tracy saying that she and Bobbie were going to Amsterdam together, but now all of a sudden, Bobbie has been there for months and Tracy had joined her later.
  6. I got FJ. Whoo-hoo. I got the missed clues of blue chip and Jerry Maguire. I got the entire category of stocks and investments right.
  7. Yeah, I know it was to draw it out. But, it was ridiculous. The why didn't you tell me almost always follow the what didn't you tell me. Considering this is what Sonny considers vital information (I don't, but Sonny does) it made no sense that he was patient to get to that while being mad that he didn't have it.
  8. I found it bizarre that Sonny yelled at Michael for like 20 minutes about not telling him, and asking how long he knew, etc, before asking who. Like how was that other information more important than knowing who? but, at least now we can all get on with our lives. I wonder if anybody will fill Drew and Carly in or if they'll just go on blaming Ned for the rest of the ir lives. Or will it still be Ned's fault because reasons. So, they can have their cake (blaming Ned) and eat it, too (blaming Nina). Are they going to make Drew all ragey and abusive, because that conversation made it look like that's where this might be headed. I wish the call to Carly re Bobbie dying hadn't been mixed up with Drew coming back. That deserved its own moment.
  9. Me, too. Then, Idecided I did think it looked a bit like a blue jay in shape.
  10. I said Westminster Abbey. I got the missed clues of Taxi Driver, AMC (after GMC), Shinto, raw umber, Wilma, jaybird, Rainforest Crunch (loved that stuff), and Thursday. I got the entire category of misheard lyrics wrong. I had a fairly good first round, but a pretty bad DJ and missed final, and I really need to find a job so I can pay my jeopardy losings.
  11. Yes. That is the worst. I just realized that this is the first year my neighbors didn't set off fireworks at midnight.
  12. I know. That was my point. They're acting like they're all clean and lily white and that Ned (or if they Nina) was the sole reason Drew went to prison. That' what bugs me. However, I, of course, wouldn't expect them to be happy about whoever turned them in. Like, when I was a kid my sister told on me for something and I got in trouble. I was mad at my sister. No doubt about it. But, at no point in time did I think getting in trouble wasn't my own stupid fault.
  13. I never really thought of that. Must have been especially hurtful when Rachel told her she "lifts right out."
  14. Honestly, I don't really have a problem with Carly/Michael/Drew etc being upset with whoever turned Drew in. Obviously they're not going to be happy about that. And since they think it's Ned, for whatever stupid reasons they have, I understand them not liking him. However, where it all falls apart for me is the moral high horse that they think they are on. And acting like Ned murdered somebody while they're hands on sparkly clean. Especially when Carly was married to a mobster who actually was responsible for murders. So, Carly confronting Ned like she did and threatening to send him to jail (loved Ned's befuddlement on that threat, btw) was just to over-the-top even for Carly, IMO. And, Lois being worried that Sonny was going to kill Ned over this because he hurt Carly. It's been several months. So, I would think if he were going to do it, he'd have done it by now. Plus, I don't think he would hurt Olivia, Brooklyn, and Leo like that over something that's already happened. sure, if he had reason to think Ned was a continued threat, then maybe. Sonny took Eddie in when Ned lost his memory for cyring out loud. That does not scream "He Must Die," to me. And, I'm sure she'll back out at the last second, or they'll get interrupted, but I really wish Lois does just tell Sonny. I don't care if it's "none of her business." Although to be fair, she's jsut assuming and has no more proof than Carly does that it's Ned. So, on that premise, she should probably should just keep her mouth shut instead of making unwarrated accusations. But, why should she be the only one?
  15. I don't know about that. I really feel like more or less everyone in town needs to be blackmailing her. Just for the ridiculousness factor. Honestly, if I were Nina, at this point, with Ned/Oliva, Michael, and Cyrus all knowing, I would know beyond a shadow of a doubt would come out and I would just rent a billboard and let the rest of the world know.
  16. Ugh, Carly. Even if Ned did turn you in, it's over and done with. Just ignore him. And, Sonny acting like Ned attacked poor, defenseless Carly. She's the one who got in his face. He even tried told her he didn't have time for her nonsense. Lois figures everything out in 5 seconds, yet months later, the rest of PC is still blaming Ned. Much as I hate to agree with Cyrus about anything, Nina really should take his advice. Just in this, though. I'm sure the rest of his advice, in general, should be ignored. Did Trina and Spenser go to that party, or did Trina put on her dress just to immediately take it off? I think they should have had Gregory chicken out at the last second, with Alexis jumping. That would have actually been kind of funny. I thought they made a big deal of how they had to jump in the light, but then when they finished it was dark and Alexis was talking about how the stars looked on the way down.
  17. I don't evenr emember the question any more, but I do remember I didn't even hazard a guess for FJ. I got the missed clues of vesting, beatific, 1620 and Virginia Woolf. I got the entire categories of Canadian postal and December right.
  18. I got FJ. I got the missed clue of frisk. I didn't get palpation, but I read during commercials and that word was in my book the next commercial break. Too bad I wasn't a wee bit further in the book, Maybe I would have gotten that. I got the entire categories of where's it at and women on trial right.
  19. No, she was. I've never been much of a fan of Lucy OR Tracy, but you never use someone's dead husband as an insult against them. Never ever ever. That's just a line you don't cross.
  20. Well, to be fair, it's not like Nina was there to see what happened. Carly's hatred of Nelle was public knowledge and even Jax who saw part of it and said he believed Carly couldn't with absolute certainty say that she didn't push her. And, she did lock her out overnight on the freezing hospital roof overnight. It's not much, if any, different from Michael and Carly assuming that Ned turned them into the SEC just because he had motive.
  21. FJ was an instaget. I got the missed clue of sins. And i got the entire category of science right. I had a pretty bad game. But, FJ saved me from losing money.
  22. Yeah, but then Nina wouldn't be the ultimatest baddest bad person that ever walked in PC. This whole story is making me ragey (OK, probably not, but at least annoyed). 1. Everybody just assumes Ned did it. No matter how much he protests his innocence. No matter the fact that Ned has always been the one holding that family together. No matter that assuming is always bad. And no matter that someone was always floating a possibility (Sonny's enemies) that had to be shot down, because it had to the Evil Ned. 2. Regardless of whether it was Ned or not, Carly's (and to a lesser extent, Drew's) insistence that it was the whistleblower who was at fault. No, they never once accused said whistleblower of fabricating evidence, ergo, they did the crime and thus their fault. 3. Nina is being a moron not just fessing up. Yes, I know, she finally tried to, but Carly's medical condition of not being able to keep her mouth shut prevented her from doing so. But, she should have told Sonny long ago. And Willow. She's married to Sonny and trying to forge a relationship with Willow and she has to know that one day this will blow up in her face. On another note, I'm glad someone on the show brought up what I've been saying about NY surrogacy laws all along. The thing I don't understaand was why Alexis didn't bring this up with the other surroagate. I was quite sure they were using her egg, unless they've retconned that and they now used a donor egg with her. And, Alexis's solution for adoption still didn't solve the problem, because Molly can't adopt the baby until it's born. Until then, Kristina could (and I'm not saying she would, but this seemed to be Alexis's fear) assert her right to that child.
  23. I got FJ right. I got the missed clues of Cyprus, Drew Carey Show, Get Smart, and sphagnum. I only got one in homophonic pairs and that's usually a good category for me. Poor first round, great second round and got FJ to end up comfortably in the black.
  24. I was trying to think of an adjective that had something to do with getting hit by a train, so I got nothing. I got the missed clue of restoration. I got the entire clues of possesives, manger and '80s right.
  25. I finally got an FJ right. I feel like I've had a bit of a dry spell on that. I got the missed clues of Ferdinand, Daniel Webster, Oman (just a guess because it had the smallest name and I figured it could fit in something), and The Thorn Birds. I got the entire category of country names right. Not a great night, but I've definitely had worse.
