  1. I knew what they were going for, but I couldn't get past Valentina. Do you get partial credit for a first name? The only missed clue I got was Hartley. I got the entire category of Acts. I totally tanked DJ. I got at least 1 clue in each category, but the only one I did well in was rhyme time where I only missed the 400. Evrything else was only 1 or 2 clues. Totally not my night.
  2. That would have made more sense to me if she just messed up that one batch. But, apparentl her pickles always tasted like crap. Maybe she doesn't like pickles. But, then why make them?
  3. I always assumed it was on the second floor, but I don't know if I had a reason for thinking that. But, if they had the store, living room, dining, room and kitchen on the first floor, then 3 bedrooms, it would make sense that they were all on the second floor.
  4. And without Janine to invite them along we would never have gotten to see "the routine." That would have been tragic, although we wouldn't have realized.
  5. No I was just so late that the l was way before the ate. I thought from the clue that it was a horse crossing. Maybe in the UK horses have wings:)
  6. Where there's a will, there's a way.
  7. I kept trying to count the letters but realized I didn't know how to spell it.
  8. I said Jabberwocky. I realized my mistake the second the first contestant was ruled incorrect, but too l ate by then. I got the missed clues of Hudson and Argentina. I got the entire category of buroughs correct. I got Casey Jones, but I'm not a fan of the Grateful Dead. he's just the only famous train engineer that has songs sung about him (to the best of my knowledge) I had a head slap can't believe I said that answer, but I forgot what it was. I got too deep and said Gaia instead of Mother Nature. And I got the acropolis, but I thought to msyelf why would they have a
  9. My point wasn't whether that it was right or wrong. My point that it was a study easily googled, first thing that came up actually, in what I assume is a respectable medical journal. They made a mistake. Nobody's perfect. As of now, they've apologized on FB and I'm sure within the next week they'll do an add in apology on the show at the beginning. Probably by one of the producers.
  10. I don't care one way or the other now, but I loved the noid commercials as a teen. I thought he was cute. Of course, Domino's wouldn't have cared a lick what I thought of their advertising as I don't think there was a dominos within a 50 mile radius and I never had a pizza from there until college (pretty sure that was after the noid campaign was over with).
  11. For all I learned from school WW2 could have been the second half of WW1. But, now that you mention it, the teacher did skip ahead to the '60s. He was a former hippie. But, the only thing we learned about the Vietnam War were the protests. But, don't worry, since school I have found a love of reading about history. I'm much more sketchy on WW1 than WW2, but I do know they were two separate wars.
  12. It was all political. Granny voted for "fill in the blank" for President and it made her an outcast in Hollywood. She was lucky she could even get work. Porky, well, he wasn't kosher. On a more truthful note, I have no idea who hippety hopper is. Is he the frog?
  13. Yeah. I'm trying to picture my college experience with bodyguards following me around. I feel like the other kids would have avoided me. LOL. And not that this would probably be the case at any college today, but men weren't allowed in the girls' dorm past midnight and before 9 a.m. (I think, it's been a while). So I would have to have a female body guard.
  14. I went to school in the '80s. Usually, the furthest we ever got up to in history was Reconstruction. Maybe I should clarify this was the 1980s. Not the 1880s.
  15. This was from the Journal of American College of Cardiology: I don't think Jeopardy can be blamed for being "problematic" and "insensitive" to just using information and terms that are already out there. I think people need to chill out. I missed last night's game because I had an odd cable problem. All my lower channels (like 25 and below) were out. Higher channels (41 and above) I had. Obviously all the "free" network channels are the lower numbers, so, not that this is a problem I have often, but when I am out half the channels, it's usually the higher ones. All was

    S01.E14: Trips

That was me. And, yeah, I still think she's shady. If it just turns out that was conveniently convenient good timing, and conveniently convenient crime solving, I'm going to be annoyed.

I find it dark that it came out 25 years ago. How'd I get so old?
  18. She couldn't choose to try long distance because that wasn't a choice. That's like me saying I chose to go to Harvard but I couldn't because I wasn't accepted. She only had the choices of now or never because that is what Logan was willing to do. And Logan only had the choices of long-distance or never because that was what Rory was willing to do. Or, using that logic, Logan didn't choose never. He chose get married now. But again it wasn't a choice that the other party was offering.
  19. I think you're misunderstanding what I'm saying. He gave her the ultimatum of now or never. Fromt hat ultimatum, she chose never.
  20. Well, yeah, they both chose the never. He's the one that gave the choice of now or never, though by saying that.
  21. I don't care that much for the later seasons so it's def been a while, so I looked up the transcript. They didn't put the names of who is talking, but I thinkit's easily figured out: I'm sorry. I can't. I love you, you know how much I love you. I love the idea of being married to you. But there are just a lot of things right now in my life that are undecided, and that used to scare me, but now I kind of like the idea that it's just all kind of wide open, and if I married you, it just wouldn't be. So, what? I go to San Francisco, you stay in the East,
  22. I don't see either of them as the injured party in this instance. From Logan's pov, for whatever reason, he had to get married, or at least engaged, right that second. I don't know why he felt that way, but his feelings and needs are his. So, if Rory were more important to him than getting married right away (which apparently he didn't anyway, as he is only engaged in the revial, right?), then that's his choice and she obviously wasn't htat important to him. From Rory's pov: she wasn't ready to get married right then and there. I would definitely want to be out of school for a ye
  23. Well, you know, sometimes you get hit so hard it turns you into a different person.
  24. Bi means you're into men or women. Fluid means that you yourself are sometimes a man or sometimes a woman or somewhere in between.
