  1. Red? *sighs* I am a huge Noah fan but I would have been happy really with anyone else but Red. That’s ‘Murica I guess.
  2. One thing that I thought was particularly interesting is that Adam Levine did not tweet during the Voice Save to save his own contestant. I don’t remember him ever doing that before, but I wasn’t paying a lot of attention when he we talking last night so maybe he mentioned why he wasnt. Still though, it’s a little weird.
  3. What boggles my mind is the fact that we are on season 4 and Brandon says Callie has been in their life for a year. A YEAR. This is longest effing year that I have ever heard of, damn. LOL.
  4. Didn't get a definite cancellation yet, but it's looking that way. :( I feel like this show would be perfect for TBS or even FX. Maybe another network will pick it up?
  5. I cried watching him sing Bird set free. I've been waiting for him to really have a big break out moment where we feel the emotional connection from him and that sooooo delivered. So happy for him, I can't wait to see the hometown love he's going to get!
  6. Lol right?! I've gone from finding him annoying (mostly from his audition), to really feeling bad for him. I actually LIKED his duet with Fantasia and thought his excitement FOR ONCE was a GOOD thing. And it's funny because isn't 99% of their movements on stage choreographed by someone? Who's to say someone behind the scenes wasn't like "Hey Jordan, you know what you should do? When the song starts, grab someone's hand in the crowd. Yeah man, just go for it, the crowd will love it!" :O
  7. I didn't have a problem with what Farkle did, because it felt natural for him to defend Riley in that way. And probably because I hate what they are doing to Maya and Riley, so any way to end this love triangle I am all for lol. It's just weird how Maya is so casual about crushing on her best friends (barely ex) boyfriend. And I don't buy that she thought Riley loved him like a brother, I feel like that's what she was telling herself to make her own personal feelings okay. Which is fine but because it's Disney, they have to have this "reason" for making her act on those feelings. Idk. Do kids really act this way lol? If my friends and I liked the same guy, neither of us would go for him. Why can't the show just go that route and leave it alone? By introducing Lucas as Riley's for two seasons pretty much, the writers kinda shot themselves in the foot. This triangle thing is just notttttt working.
  8. This could be just me being bitter for Evan not being there (all cringeworthy dancing aside, his tone was beautiful), but aside from Jeffery, everyone else was kinda zzzz zzzz for me.
  9. Can we pretty please retire Kenny Loggins songs forever from this show? Or can Pharrell STAHP with these song choices. Josh Kaufman sang it S6 and I felt the same way about it back then lol. Evan's my favorite on his team because of how gorgeous his tone is, and he's not going to last much longer if he doesn't speak up about what kind of music he wants to make. *sigh* Poor Korin. :( She's selling her soul to this show, and I hope she also tells Gwen to stop trying to make her over. It's always a beauty pageant with her, and people who vote on this show don't give a shit (for the most part). I'd like Jeffery to take it all the way, give Jordan a run for his money.
  10. I remember a few contestants a few seasons ago mentioning that they do get paid....but it's nowhere near what anyone may think lol. And they don't get that money up front, it took months for them to see ANY kind of money from Itunes downloads.
  11. Congrats on your win Sawyer? I wonder how many times that kid has closed the show lol. It's not his fault but this show is reminding me more and more of American idol with the producers pushing who they want to to win. Not that he's not worthy, which he totally is, I just wish that the favoritism was a tad less obvious. I loved Koryn tonight, she tore that stage UP for her first song. I also really enjoyed Josh as well, I've been pulling for him all season.
  12. I write for Popwrapped sometimes and wanted to share the Undateable love (in gif form). Lol. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ http://popwrapped.com/news/82639/10-reasons-need-watch-nbcs-undateable/
  13. Happy: Will came out! And he's finally happy! Gunnar and Scarlett (yeah I still like them together. I know, I know) LOVED the song that Juliette sang tonight. Hope it's on Itunes because I need it in my life lol. Deacon and Rayna's hospital vows <3 Sad: Avery and Juliette. They're my favorite on the show and of course that means that they're forever doomed. Meh: Layla and Jeff Teddy (sorry Eric Close, I love ya and all but...)
  14. Prettyyyyy sure that Kim's "Dirty Diana" performance was my favorite performance of all time on this show. I forgot I was even watching a reality singing competition at that point, it was really, really special.
  15. I liked the convo between Nick and Jess at the end because it gave me some hope in my little "shipper" heart. They both were talking about each other, and then said Winston to cover what they were feeling. Or was I imagining that? LOL I'm still aboard the Nick/Jess train, can't help it.
  16. Bus, meet Clark. Clark, meet bus. I was torn between that whole moment with Clark vs. Scott and then vs. the judges. He speaks eloquently and without any type of malice, which kudos because if people were constantly nitpicking me, I would probably have a shit fit on live television. But I can also see what THEY want out of him, because it's what ME as a viewer wants to SEE in him. JLo was right when she said that this is American Idol, and that you have to give the fans/crowd something of yourself (or something along those lines). Give us some sexy. Give us some soul. Lose yourself in the song completely. He doesn't want to try anything different or open up. If RAYVON of all people is finally willing and is doing that, Clark is going to lose this competition. He made me stick up for Scott Borchetta of all people because I totally understood what Scott was trying to tell him, and Clark wanted no part of that. ughhhh. *hides*
  17. I also heard, and correct me if I'm wrong since I didn't get to watch the episode, that Harry basically told Clark he's the only true musician left in the competition? That's so shitty to say that in front of all the other contestants....when some do play instruments as well? :/
  18. Mannnnnn of all the nights I had to miss American Idol because of work and couldn't see Q school Harry live in real time....I am sad. Lol. Watching it back, it was awkward and hilarious and cringe worthy. But I can't say Q didn't stand his ground! Harry and Ryan totally prodded that one out of him.
  19. She said in some interviews that she doesn't want to be famous, that fame invites people in to critique you and what you look like and that she's happy just writing songs for other musicians. I guess she's still into performing her songs but I doubt she'll show her face again. Which is pretty crazy to me since she's really quite normal looking lol, but I guess she has some self image issues :(
  20. I died laughing because my mom texted me "Who is she?" while Sia was singing. LOL. I love her and her music, but she acts like she never showed her face in public before when she used to. All. the. time.
  21. Team Christina is on FIRE this season!! This....makes me really nervous lol. Usually when a team is that strong it has crashed and burned due to crappy song choices so I'm hoping that Christina keeps giving them new and offbeat songs to sing. Can we talk about Adam basically giving Nathan the good ole "A for effort" speech? Poor kid. I don't know why Adam would ever give him that song except for cannon fodder I suppose. He was one of my favorites on his team though. :/ Still hardcore rooting for Joshua and Brian, although song choice is also going to be key here. They have to be careful that they don't make Brian seem even more old fashioned and Joshua way too laid back. Those eyes though man...Joshua reminds me of Jakob Dylan from The Wallflowers lollll. :)
  22. Same. He's a talented kid, I'll give him that. He certainly has a lot going for him, but I don't really like his voice. It's the vibrato I think, it ends up sounding too goaty/Bob Dylanish for my taste lol. I know he will be around for a lonnnnnng long time though on this show so I've accepted it. ^_^
  23. I completely agree with you but because of the Twitter Save, I feel like he's not going anywhere anytime soon. The kid is good at digging himself out of desperate situations and putting on a show (and the judges LOVE it because he hypes up the crowd), so I feel like the Save might help him last a few weeks longer.
  24. I LOVE this show. It reminds me of The League meets Cheers, and it never fails to make me laugh. The ratings have been steady as far as target demo is concerned, so I'm really hoping for a season 3. The chemistry between the cast is fantastic!
