  1. I didn't think this was a bad episode, but it just kind of "was" if you know what I mean. Not very remarkable in any way. Emily Blunt was charming and nice and it was fun to have Seth flex his voice acting skills (the movie looks terrible)... but I wasn't really wowed by anyone on the couch.
  2. I know the episode hasn't aired yet, but I just have to say that I'm a little surprised this show is jumping six months ahead... though I guess it would be pretty boring to watch Divya lay around on bedrest. And bonus, Divya will be back in those short tight dresses (cue eye rolling) in no time!
  3. That was me... Tucker WAS one of my favorite patients, and because I really wish we would see him again! I feel like Royal Pains focuses a lot on new patients with not easily diagnosed conditions. I wish a few repeat patients would show up, even if it was just briefly.
  4. Getting the conversation started-- have anyone else watched past seasons and realized something they hated at the time isn't actually so bad? Mainly for me, it's the Jeanne/Frog arc during season 4. At the time, I really didn't like it at all, but now rewatching the old episodes (usually during USA marathons) I find that I don't mind it. Are there parts that still annoy me? Sure, but in the bigger picture, there was actually some really good stuff going on, at least character wise-- especially with Tony. Or maybe it's just rose colored glasses for the nostalgia of the Bellisario days, before Brennan took over and made a giant mess.
  5. I have to say, one of the reasons I'm most excited about this season is to snark about Divya's maternity style. (I actually like her style, but the super tight short dresses are a bit ridiculous.)
  6. Saw a preview today and I'm really excited for the new season to start! Too bad A&E seems to have buried this show and isn't promoting it at all.
  7. I started watching the show when Ziva was introduced, so she's my favorite. I'm still pissed about how they fucked over her character (more specifically, how they wrote her and the shit that happened in later seasons). I liked Kate too, when I went back and watched S1 and S2, but I prefer Ziva. Bishop is still too new for me to really have formed an opinion. I don't dislike her, but she's too "quirky cute" right now. But I do appreciate the sibling vibe between her, Tony and Tim.
  8. Larrick is one creepy SOB. I didn't really like Kate, but yikes. Despite not liking her as a handler, at least she was smart enough to stash a gun and get a message to Phillip and Elizabeth. I'm surprised Larrick didn't try to torture information out of her either, but I tend to think she provoked him into killing her so she wouldn't give up any intel rather than potentially cracking under torture. She was going to end up dead regardless, but at least she didn't willingly give up intel. I find the storyline with Stan/Nina/Oleg/Arkady/Gaad to be very interesting-- who exactly is playing who here? I could believe Stan is playing a long con, given what we know about his abilities to do undercover work-- just because we haven't seen him report to anyone recently doesn't mean he isn't, as we have seen him report to Gaad about the goings on. I could also see him totally being played by Nina/Oleg/Arkady. Also, I believe that Arkady purposefully told Oleg about Nina being a traitor and her being sent back to Russia, knowing that he would tell Nina, who in turn tells Stan. Personally, I feel like Arkady is totally bullshitting them in an attempt to get the Stealth info. Phillip was really killing it as Ted, the Vietnam vet. Matthew Rhys manages to inhabit all of the the personas Phillip has to take on as part of his spy craft. Please, give him all the awards.
