  1. i’d propose a third theory, that she only identifies gayness in her acquaintances who are stereotypically gay. Flaming Tal , flaming Todd...gay. Ordinary Roy into other ordinary dudes? Not gay, how can he be, he isn’t flaming.
  2. Surely that's possible. I'm game to give it a try.
  3. I've been doing the CSI thing and think that it can be proven the entirety of the Fitness Marshall "tour" possibility was fake, fake, fake. (Note that we start with the information from Whit's own mouth in this first episode of this season..."The Fitness Marshall offered for me to be the third Backup Booty on his national tour, so I set off for Indianapolis to do some intense training for four weeks to get ready to go on tour.") I went back and collated his videos and schedule as presented on his SM. The choreography that Sweatney (all hail AUJulia for that) was "learning" was from a new routine TFM had created for the Flo Rida song "Cake." We can establish that Whit was not learning that choreography prior to that time. That song came out February 28th, with the video following on March 15, 2017. From March 11 to March 19, TFM was in Texas (not Indiana). March 21 TFM posted a video of that choreography sans Whit on March 21st, where his location was tagged as Bloomington, Indiana (he has taught fitness classes at Indiana University). On March 24th he posted the announcement that he would be on MBFFL in April, and he posted a picture of him with Whit. March 26 he was in Boston (not Indiana). March 31 he posted a video of his trip to Florida (not Indiana) for a photoshoot and a Cardio Concert. April 1 he was in Syosset NY (not Indiana). April 15 he was in Indianapolis for a Cardio Concert (having spent time during the previous two weeks in California where his boyfriend was about to graduate college). April 21 to 23 he was at a retreat in Illinois (not Indiana). April 28 to 30 he was in St. Louis (not Indiana). May 11 to 14 he was in Cancun (very much not Indiana), and going forward he began a world tour, Australia, Singapore, etc. SO. When exactly in all this traveling during half of March and all of April was The Fitness Marshall supposed to carve out four whole weeks when he would not move from Indianapolis, just so he could train Whit daily in how to build up enough endurance to dance for more than sixty seconds? And if it was not meant to be daily training, why was Whit supposedly planning to stay holed up in that Indianapolis motel for that entire time? (Indeed, she claims to Tal just before he says he's going to come and get her that she's been at the motel already for "weeks.") TFM and his Booties surely weren't expecting to have the same living conditions, why would Whit sign on for less than they were getting, at least as far as housing for a month was concerned? Why would she, for a stay of a month and as shown in a brief camera shot, pack exactly one (1) pair of exercise leggings and one (1) NoBS shirt in her one (1) suitcase and one (1) backpack? Can anyone tell me that? I think this cannot be told. In my considered opinion. Whit and FTM spent a day in Indianapolis proper, maybe two or three, possibly on March 24th more or less when he and his Backup Booties were in the area, filming that tiny bit of dance, and Whit wasn't at the motel. Then Whit moved into the Catalina Motel right next to the Indianapolis Airport for filming purposes and to look oh-so-pitiful, the crew got their footage, and they were able to fly/drive back to Greensboro. Let us note that according to Whit's own timeline during a recent Q&A, she broke up with Avi in March. During the "rescue" by Tal and Todd in the car back to Greensboro, Whit goes on and on about how much she LOVES Avi, and how the timeline has her shopping for gowns after she gets back to Greensboro. This means that all of the TFM stuff/wedding plans also couldn't have happened in April, since it's past Whit's break-up timeline.
  4. Dance for 18 seconds. Dance for 10 seconds. Dance for 20 seconds. Dance for 6 seconds. Exhausted from 54 seconds of dancing.
  5. Let’s go to the screengrabs! First picture is from her first season, broadcast January 27, 2015 so filmed in 2014, and then from this most recent episode, so filmed mid-2017-ish.
  6. It's such a weird thing, but the continuity involving Whit and her dizziness/fainting associated with specific dance scenes is just odd and I don't know the purpose of it. What I mean is this. Back a few seasons when she had the fainting spell during the danceathon, Whit was seen heading over and sitting down on a chair by some kind of metal pole and a couple of tables with pictures on them. But in the very next moment, when we were supposed to think that Whit then fell off that same chair, she had clearly moved to another entirely different chair and fell off that one. I noticed it because you can see that first, she's on one side of the pole and table, but then in the next moment she's on the opposite side of the pole and the opposite side of the table. This episode, the same kind of thing happens. Whit wears a shirt that says "Running Late Is My Cardio." She starts the class with it pulled fully down to her waist. She does some dancing. Todd does his thing. Then they get the part where Todd asks Whit if she has any questions and brings up the concept of her "situations." Whit starts pacing back and forth. With the next cut, she's got the shirt tucked up under her breasts so that all you can see if "Running Late Is" and the top half of "My." She leaves the studio with both hands empty, walks through the small waiting room outside the studio, still with empty hands and we can see the parking lot outside the door. Cut back to Todd for a second, then cut back to Whit, who suddenly is exiting the waiting room out to the parking lot, but having mysteriously acquired a cellphone in her left hand which you can see her holding as she goes through the door. (I don't have any reason to think she picked it up from the waiting room, since where would it have been? Just sitting out on a table somewhere?) The puzzlement continues in the preview for the next episode, because even though Whit clearly gets into the car with her phone in hand, she is holding no phone when she starts gesturing with both hands. In my opinion, the editing on this show is, either intentionally or not, incorporating rehearsal footage with the final scenes, and basically cementing the whole FAKE FAKE FAKE premise.
  7. Absolutely. Greensboro itself makes things like property-tax records searchable by anyone, it's even in the link name, http://taxweb.co.guilford.nc.us/PublicWebAccess/. For example, as just an ordinary Joe Schmo belonging to the general public, I was able to find out that Whit hasn't paid her property tax yet (thousands of dollars were due in August, and she starts having to pay interest on the overdue amount on January 6th in a few days.)
  8. The Downsizing clip is totally just a case of the studio providing the digital assets where Jason Sudeikis is sitting on the box, with anyone having the ability to insert the digital asset into whatever environment they choose (the original being him talking to Matt Damon). In this case, TLC overlaid the asset onto some footage of Whit in her own kitchen. If you all out there had the pull to get ahold of it, that could be your own kitchen Sudeikis is in. (That said, OMG, if you have the TLC app and can watch the whole episode 501 that's available right now, well, I can't OMG enough with how much it's showing that Whit is a trainwreck from the first second. This season will be glorious snark fodder.)
  9. I thought it was an old video, mostly because, as you can see in it, Whitney can actually move and lift her feet. This didn't even happen any time during last season, let alone lately. Since as far as I've been able to find Whit also hasn't had anything to do with GDT since whatever "class" she film there in 2016, I almost sort of wonder (with the participation of Leslie from GDT in the video) if it was a sort of teaser before the show even got on the air to assure TLC what the network could expect as far as Whitney's abilities were outside of the initial viral video. In my opinion, Whit does look thinner, because it's an old video when she was thinner. Edited to add: I mean, look at that! She does a couple of steps that involve those hops where her feet need to leave the ground, even if just an inch. That's not happening anymore!
  10. Nailed it! I said back on May 18th... "I saw Whit post a video on FB last night and, surprise surprise, it was LENNIE showing up at her house. i will take that to mean that filming has indeed resumed and that a plot arc will have them giving it another shot, because really, there's no other reason for this."
  11. This is where Twit gets to adopt the elderly-choreographer mode of teaching. She stands for a few seconds at the front of the class to welcome them, then sits on a chair off to the side, claps her hands to help guide the dancers with the beat, and occasionally offers spoken instruction. But actual dance? Hoo boy, it's obvious those days are gone. She doesn't even do that annoying thing she used to do, that "So you're doing so-and-so and then @badgalriri overtook me," and she wiggles her hips. Gone. (edited to add: Actual dance will be Todd's or Tal's job.)
  12. The healthcare system must just LOVE the kind of patients they're going to see on an increasing basis, with this kind of attitude blooming.... "Life is too short to focus on weight loss when they could be living life in the fast lane, even when the fast lane can’t quite fully support them. While understanding that they could be healthier, and always striving to better themselves, they don’t let their size hold them back from living their lives full of humor, drama and family adventure."
  13. I've described it as flailing. It's really that. He pretty much just flings his hands, feet, or hips in a direction, and the part of the body attached to those things gets flung in the same direction. He's got no control, power, or strength involved. It's just "there goes my foot up in the air, hope it works out!"
  14. Season 1, episode 3, Todd measured her breast size as 52, waist as 50, hips as 70 inches. That was about two and a half years ago, so at this point, who knows.
  15. That picture is a contradiction. Twit always says that she needs to wear spandex because of chub rub, famously the reason she couldn't wear the shorts the Grasshoppers job required. Well, tell me how those bare legs aren't chub-rubbing her skin raw, especially since she apparently has gained so much weight in her legs that the rub goes from crotch to feet.
  16. I saw Whit post a video on FB last night and, surprise surprise, it was LENNIE showing up at her house. i will take that to mean that filming has indeed resumed and that a plot arc will have them giving it another shot, because really, there's no other reason for this.
  17. Turning her back on the version of herself who said for the show, "I want to know that somebody can look at me the way I am when I wake up in the morning, and I want to be able to look at me the way that I am when I wake up in the morning, and think that's beautiful, because I don't want the pressure and the responsibility of having to put in all this hair, put on makeup every day, to feel that I'm all right enough."
  18. Yikes and owell. Anyway, the relevant site to poke around regarding such matters is http://rdlxweb.co.guilford.nc.us/guilfordNameSearch.php (us public folks have to accept a disclaimer first).
  19. For context, and if this link works, the whole thing can be tound here... http://rdlxweb.co.guilford.nc.us/view_image.php?file=0&type=pdf&sessid=8b105cd446005a74e957abf4ef6f72ce
  20. FWIW, in one of the initial episodes of the series Whit had I think Todd measure her, and her hip measurement came in at 70 inches. That was the episode where they had to find a second tape measure because the ordinary first one wasn't big enough. And where Whit tried to finesse the too-small measure by saying she could try and "suck in" her hips, causing Todd to ask what the point would be, since it would mean the clothing she was measuring for would be too tight.
  21. The spectre of Whit and recurring yeast infections arrives on the scene.
  22. Glenn works in the printing industry in a major role. I've been in that field or adjacent since the 1980's to the present so I know the factors involved. I get it now. Yes, he's not only immune to ageism but in his particular area his age works for him, not against, and he would make a really, really generous income. It's the kind of job that means he can keep going in it until he's physically unable to. That said, as an executive in the company he could absolutely have taken time off.
  23. Favorite Babs quotes so far as I watch.... "I was feeling so secure there for a minute, and then I realized I'm going to have to go home with Whitney? (sigh) It was not a pretty thought." "Everything looks so nice. You're still living here?" "I think that she brought everything that was hard for a stroke victim to eat." "But if you leave then I can't...." "Torture me?"
