The little one with pigtails is Cassie's daughter, not sure about the little one with the ponytail. Lauren has taught Lennon at DCC camp and knows her from the stadium/being around.

I personally don’t think Kelli was particularly awful to Dayton in the office meeting. I wonder, though, if her tone came off differently because she’s speaking to someone that she’s known since she was born, as opposed to a candidate completely new to her. Not trying to go down the favoritism road, just noting that I would speak differently to someone I’ve known all of their life vs someone I just met...even without probably realizing it.

What in the...? I've thought for years DCC and all of their resources SURELY can find better photo editors. I'm not saying Photoshop the girls within an inch of their life, but damn, some basic balancing and corrections would be nice.

Agree! Never mind staying in uniform shape, being able to do that jump split 7 years later is incredible.

Disagree. I can understand if you've never been a fan of Jennifer, to each his/her own, but I think her speech was spot on. It was easy to see that some of the vets could stand to step it up a notch, especially compared to some of the girls trying out, and I think she was just trying to give them fair warning. I've been in competitive dance for a while, so maybe I'm just used to instructors/choreographers and their firm criticism and feedback, but I didn't think it came off as bitchy.

As someone mentioned briefly earlier in the thread, why is Judy so darn quiet? I need more Judy comments in my life, stat. I don't know if it's the edit this year or what, but Kelli is coming off super nasty, much more so than previous seasons.

That's a pretty harsh criticism to place on someone without knowing the details of cuts.

I think, and obviously @ShellyB would know for sure, they run through it twice back to back then switch lines and run through it again twice. I’ve done it in auditions before so the choreographer/judge can see everyone front and center.

IIRC, they usually have a few vets attend the training camp events. I remember Lacey and a few others going to Jay's workout sessions with TCCs.

From what I've seen, Khalyn's and Yuko's pics have turned out the best. Christina has a bangin bod, but her face looks awkward or forced in the photos I've seen.

Not a criticism of VK specifically, but a bit WTF to girls in their 20s lately and these massive false eyelashes. I wear falsies sometimes for volume, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to see with some of the blankets these girls are wearing on their eyes. Am I alone here? Am I getting too old?

Agree. I think Kitty said it seasons ago, the solo routine is a girl's opportunity to showcase their best skills. She nailed it.

Does anyone think it's odd that they separated out Victoria and Dayton in posts? In following the model of the article, I would think it would be in the "2" section and just noted both of their names. I promise I'm not a cat-food eating conspiracy theorist, just stood out to me. Props to anyone that knows what show that reference came from :)

I could not agree more. As someone who has a few years on these girls, I can say that you need a thick skin in life. If your self worth is determined by what others think, on a message board, internet, or even IRL, you're not going to be very happy in life.

I'm not a fan of her dancing, but I don't think she's the worst we've seen. I'm way more interested in the tea re: why her and Dayton aren't in ANY pictures together from tryouts. I thought they were close and I know attended prep classes together months back. WTF happened?

She needs to learn how to stay in line with the group. I can almost hear Judy screaming "LINE!" every 10 seconds.

Most of the time bragging is a sign of insecurity. If you're that fabulous, you don't have to tell everyone about it...they just know. Maybe we should get Gina one of those "I'm kind of a big deal" t-shirts. I hate to throw so much shade on someone I know nothing about, based on clips on a tv show, but dayum she rubs me the wrong way.

One thing that stood out to me when they were talking with Lacey and Robin about Gina was that they chose their words carefully. *They* never had a problem with her but some of her rookies may see her as x, y, z. Makes me think there are things they aren't saying, maybe she's a sweet as pie kiss ass with vets but not her rookies. If so, it's probably really obvious and not a good move.

I think they just spliced her name in for Erica's in editing. You can tell because it's choppy. But yes, making it look like she was GL from the start.

Yes, their house is in the Boston area. While they made it seem more recent on the show, they purchased it in 2016.
