  1. The Stassi breakdown to Jax in front of Brittany was almost too much even for this show. The debauchery is easier to watch than this twisted shizzle. Jax couldn't have done anything else but say what he said and even go to tears. I would be crying too if my ex was now friends with my current and they drink together and braid each other's hair!
  2. Word to all that except I don't find Katie pitiable. She's too mean to pity. The Tom's were on WWHL and Schwartz defended Katie's behavior ("she's changed, she's self aware now") like a neutered pup. Tom's best move - in classic form looking for an out - was making sure they had a prenup.
  3. She should take the bait from Eileen and get herself on a soap opera. She was really good in her audition and that's a place she can age gracefully. But she's gotta get off the pole. Soon.
  4. I still don't hate this show! I found Juliette's POV and the city porn of Paris an unexpected relief after the last couple of episodes. I was never so glad to see an unwanted character! My affection was what you would feel for the water girl at the end of a marathon, but I was ready for a break. Plus her messy life details make her attraction to Noah make sense. Even though the ending was like a poof rather than a bang, I'm good with it. No way was everything going to be wrapped up in a nice little package labeled "finale" and damn all the characters deserved a minute on a plateau. They've been through a lot. Many unanswered questions and lots of dysfunction still to play out. There is plenty for Season 4 to do!
  5. So much true here. But Erika strikes me as a scrappy one who figured out how to "make it in this town" using all the resources she has to maintain her position in a place that will reward you for a fabulous illusion. And gives her something to do while her husband is away. I just hope she somehow unravels all that into graceful aging before something other than her puss is popping on stage.
  6. I think someone said it on WWHL when discussing the show - I don't know - I can't claim it. But they said Eileen's personality is like a vagina in human form. That makes me laugh so much because I have one and that makes complete sense.
  7. Yeah it was like Sister Wives - LA.
  8. Remember when they first started - when she ran into him at the bar - he was a dick. He was drinking on the job and Tinder hopping and seemed bitter and troubled. He would have to be messed up to go for all the baggage you listed. Also, something I think that goes missing with observations of Helen as the woman scorned is she's quite bewitching to men and Vik got caught up in the Helen "thing." Her life sure is interesting, :) she's sophisticated and witty and he seemed to fall under the spell of some kind of twisted happily ever after with her. She uses sex to numb her pain just like everyone else on this show and she works it when she wants to. I am one of the few people that like this season. OK wait I admit I shut it off and didn't return for two days when they started with the French prof POV, but I appreciate the nerve they had to do it! Early on in the series I was very distracted by the exaggerated reactions of people during their interactions but I would remind myself that it was one-sided perspective. The "training wheels" we had for viewing the last couple of seasons were the omniscient flash forwards (and video footage) that helped give us some of the "truth" along the way. We don't have that this season so the ride is causing some motion sickness (I'm also struggling with the prison guard story line), but I trust the writing and am interested in how this plays out. The acting is fantastic too. Maura Tierney is absolutely unleashed in this role.
