  1. Me too 55Unicorns! I must be nuts. But, I found it interesting her real name is Tantanisha. It sounds like a refreshing drink you'd get on a cruise.
  2. So, Tanisha's been angrily replying on the 600lb discussion room on Facebook (ALL CAPS ALL THE TIME) - she said she's always done the cleaning, claims that the producers forced her to say she's bed-bound. She is also alluding to the fact her husband (now ex) was abusive and a cheater. A number of her friends have popped up too. I don't know, I wish her the best but I hope she keeps going to therapy because there's a lot of anger there.
  3. I don't get it. Why is she so mopey now? This episode is a strange rollercoaster.
  4. I like this therapist. I hope Tanisha sticks with it.
  5. Whoa! Did she just say, "Screw the program" to Dr. Now?! Yikes. Good God, get a grip girl!
  6. Back to "life circumstances" stuff and eating bad foods. "Dr. Now didn't give me a plan to follow" - it's the same frikkin' plan you had the month before! *BONK*
  7. Ooops, spoke too soon - husband being rude to Dr. Now. A wild enabler appears! Edited to add: sh*t! They're getting divorced! That was fast! Edited again: replacement man - he looks a lot like the old model.
  8. Good so far - no juggalos, druggies, mouthbreathers, yelling, or craziness...yet. Edited after an hour into the show - I REALLY spoke too soon. Lunacy.
  9. Her youngest daughter is adorable. I really hope Tanisha can turn this around. I noticed the bottle of ranch dressing on the salad too Brooklynista. Dr. Now will tell her off for it after the commercial. ;)
  10. I hope her yellow washing bucket isn't the same one as her yellow pee bucket.
  11. I'm so grateful for this forum and for all of you who bite the bullet and watch this sh*t and recap it for me. I just can't with Twit and her band of barnacles. So fake, contrived, insulting, and just gross. I used to be able to dvr the show and hate watch it, but I can't do it any more. Thanks for your sacrifice everyone!
  12. Mysteries! I was fascinated with the disappearing/reappearing Uhaul and junk car.
  13. The gum. So much gum chewing. When I was preparing to get my gastric sleeve done, we had to attend many appointments in both group and individual format with the doctors, nurses, and dietitian. We were told over and over that after the surgery no more sipping from a straw and no more gum chewing as it can expand the pouch or sleeve with air and stretch it out.
  14. I'm with you Snarklepuss. I couldn't even finish the episode this morning (I dvr'd it). It was just too much of a cringe-fest for me. Fake drama, fake friends, filthy house, dirty people - no thank you.
  15. Me too Azubah! Diana's niece and nephew in law are saints. I was really impressed with the tenacity of this family.
  16. I really feel for the niece. There's a lot of pressure on her (she's in charge of cooking for everyone). I don't know if I could handle that responsibility.
  17. What a boring ass party! Woo-hoo, let's get the hired barnacle band together at 1pm and GET DOWN and PARTY! I've been to livelier funerals. Fake invite to the Folk Festival. It's like a bunch of random weirdos crashed the stage to "dance". C'mon people, get some self-respect. Very lame. The Roy thing - Twit is getting into bunny boiler territory. Just because someone is kind to you, it doesn't mean they are deep in adoration of you. I love the other dance teacher telling Twit that they sucked. It was great, I know it's a set up, but it was interesting how her social barnacles automatically come to Twit's aid. It's like a Pavlovian response or something. Weird.
  18. Hi Brooklynista, My sister is an alcoholic with a myriad of mental illnesses. She is abusive and manipulative. I've finally had to cut her off for my own health, it was hard but I had to because she was threatening me and my husband. All that to say, I agree with you. There comes a point where the love is just gone, the person in question just takes it one step too far and it's just too much.
  19. Hi Hockeymom - I read somewhere that because the participants are not part of an acting union, they don't get paid residuals. Seems like a bit of a raw deal financially to me, but on the up side they get the surgery, etc... so that's good.
  20. I'm so sick of this lying liar and her group of pathetic "friends".
  21. That page is crazy. So many people posting are instantly defensive and snarky.
  22. Hey TVBitch - I'm glad you brought up the counselor. My husband was watching with me, and he said "What the hell? Why is she speaking like that? It's weird." I agreed, but I started thinking about it and wondered if maybe the counselor was kind of genius. On "Intervention" we often hear that the addict's emotional and mental maturity is arrested at the age they started doing drugs/drinking. Kristen started abusing drugs (and alcohol? Not sure) in her early teens and seems to have the mentality of a petulant teenager. Is the counselor speaking to her in a childlike voice in order to make Kirsten comfortable and able to open up more? Genius or just an odd voice, I don't know!
  23. My husband and I always say that Dr. Now would make a killing if he rented out apartments to his patients. He could call them "Dr. Now's Bariatric Bunkers".
