  1. Question: the new police captain (who’s working for Diaz) offered to resign and take the blame for Cayden’s death, right? (Not rewatching to check) Imagine if Oliver had accepted. While it’s likely Diaz has whoever would take over working for him, just imagine if that was something else (like the city he wants to take over almost getting blown up) that didn’t go his way since I assume he and the captain knew Oliver wouldn’t accept. I still can’t believe he’s the Big Bad. Hoping Oliver’s comment to Felicity about the possibility of someone they didn’t know of being responsible for the missing money (before they knew it was BS) is foreshadowing that there’s someone out there who’s the Big Bad and it’s really not Diaz.
  2. So do you think if Dinah had killed BS and Curtis found out after the fact, he’d have told OTA? Because I don’t. It doesn’t matter if he would’ve been cool with it or not. NTA is supporting each other, even when they’re wrong, just because they want to oppose OTA on everything.
  3. Of course. They know that they'll likely run into OTA and need Rene there to go, "this doesn't change anything, hoss." Or for him to get re-injured (again) so that they can once again blame Oliver (or maybe mix it up and blame Diggle or Felicity next time).
  4. The only way I'd accept this is if they put the blame 100% on Lance for kidnapping her, bringing her to the cabin and basically being like, "Let me tell you all about my daughter! Be her!"
  5. I was too rage-y at the newbies the first time around to catch a lot of what they said.
  6. Rewatch notes: Gotta love Curtis’ protest about torturing BS when what he does to Diggle could be seen as a form of torture since he causes him pain. Also, his anger about Felicity hacking their system when he HACKS A CHIP INSIDE DIGGLE’S ARM AND HURTS HIM. Ugh. Still can’t believe BS was the most sane one in the room when it was just her and Lance. Also cannot believe Lance trying to attribute growing up without her father playing a role in her being the way she is. Especially since he knows Felicity and Thea’s histories. And why do they have these BS/Lance “bonding” moments be about food? Cake, soup. I was amused by NTA’s awful tailing and them all wearing their masks while driving. The best part about Oliver saying he doesn’t want to see BS’ face? That means he doesn’t want to see any Earth’s LL. I completely missed the axe the first time around, so I watched for it this time. What was Rene thinking? Can they just put the video of the woman taking the money and BS/“LL” side by side and go, “so, kidnapped for two years?” Also, I don’t know how I feel about Lance still working at City Hall after this episode since he seemed to care more about NOT HIS DAUGHTER than the city.
  7. Came up with the idea? If not for her, Curtis would still be doing freelance work. It's not like he was thinking of starting a company or doing anything with the chip or even suggested they use the chip for the company. Felicity can start up a company without Curtis (and his tech). Curtis cannot start one up without her.
  8. Considering if Curtis didn't exist on the show, Felicity would probably do everything herself that he's done? That shouldn't be a problem. She should be able to come up with something herself.
  9. I actually want to see BS accuse Lance of kidnapping her since he actually technically did? It'll never happen, but just imagine...
  10. I actually can't believe how Arrow continues to manage to find new levels of stupidity and just plain awfulness with the newbies. Somehow, I find myself hating them more with EVERY SINGLE SCENE. So, uh, bravo for accomplishing that? I really hope that Felicity's allowed to get a word in about what Curtis did because the newbies seemed so against letting her, and I really wanted her to smack Curtis in the hospital when he was all, "no, we're done." Uh, no, Curtis, we're done. I feel like I need to rewatch this episode because I was hating the newbies so much every time they were on-screen, I probably missed more stuff to hate the newbies for. Why couldn't we get two or three more Olicity (with or without William) scenes instead of that episode? There is NO coming back from what Curtis did to Diggle. Yes, the others agreed, but if he hadn't brought it up, they wouldn't have known it was possible. Really hoping this is the end of Lance's stupidity/creepiness about Black Siren. As for Black Siren's "I'm Laurel Lance, I was kidnapped two years ago, etc." bit? It wasn't the worst part of the episode, so I'll give her that?
  11. "In the only way that really matters" Meaning the fact that she looks like her? So, looks are what matters?
  12. I don't believe that "I'm sorry."
  13. Curtis, you could've stayed quiet. They wouldn't know about this without you. So I'm blaming you.
  14. Can they send the newbies out of the country with Black Siren? Just get rid of all of them in one go.
  15. Hold up, why are the newbies assuming that Oliver's taking BS at her word? Because they want to be right?
  16. Lance, are you honestly willing to sacrifice the entire city for someone who's NOT YOUR DAUGHTER?
  17. Shut up, Curtis. Hey, remember when you fed Felicity nanites?
  18. I honestly don't get this. They could've written OTA vs. NTA in a way that had at least some people on NTA's side and didn't make the newbies out to be horrible, horrible people. Instead ... we got this.
  19. Shut up, Dinah. Shut up, Curtis. Shut up, Rene.
  20. Uh, Rene, Oliver was TRYING TO FIND THE BOMB THAT WAS GOING TO DESTROY THE ENTIRE CITY! Shut up, Rene.
  21. Black Siren is the most sane one in this room.
  22. Before the others do something stupid? Shut up, Dinah.
  23. "I didn't see her exactly. I just dragged her off and have her locked up somewhere to make her see she's actually my daughter."
