Watching the previously on, I realize it could've been worse - Dinah could've said "Felicity Megan Smoak is dead." For real dramatic effect.

Trying to go into this episode thinking positively. But then I remember Diaz still exists.

I'm more focused on Dinah's hair, TBH. Look how bleak the future is, yet it looks like Dinah has time to go to a hair salon and get her hair done, maybe even between scenes. "Hold up, I'll tell you what else has gone horribly wrong in the past X years, but first, I have a hair appointment. Maybe a mani/pedi too."

I'm assuming she will in court in this episode, given Oliver's line about not really being a lawyer, presumably from a second visit. So that's something at least.

Same. But you know what? I'll begrudgingly accept them ignoring it (i.e., be pissed and probably write a long rant in Bitterness thread) as long as they don't act like Diggle offered to help and do everything possible to help and she refused it or like Diggle did help and she doesn't say anything.

Yep. Also, if Oliver gets on her case about working with BS, it would give Felicity the perfect opening to go, "Well, it's not like I had anyone else." Oliver could bring up Diggle, and Felicity could go, "Sure, if you consider telling me to move on help."

Hold on, is Black Siren actually claiming that Oliver is at all responsible for Diaz getting away when she's the one who screamed him off the roof when Oliver had him? Really? Ugh. Also, this means we're getting two Oliver/Laurel scenes in this episode, since he doesn't say that lawyer line from the promo in that sneak peek and is the one to walk away. Hoping Felicity joins her for the second visit. I need at least one Olicity scene if I have to sit through two Oliver/Laurel ones.

Do we know for certain 707 is Kat’s first episode? could the final scene in 706 introduce her (but maybe not reveal who she is beyond her name, William possibly saying “Maya?”)?

Maybe it’ll be a hologram. Dinah will go, “We got a cube with this in it. Note said it definitely wasn’t from Felicity and she was totally dead. So obviously she’s dead. Did I see it happen? No. Did I see a body? No. But look at this note. 100% trustworthy and definitely couldn’t be from Felicity faking her death.”

I’m going to roll my eyes so hard if that happens because sure, they’ll take time to go visit her grave which will just so happen to be in relatively good condition (so we can clearly see her name, date of death) despite the very bleak future. Maybe they’ll even bring along tech to X-ray it to show that there is a body in the coffin. Because, you know, she’s totally 100% definitely dead. But then maybe the episode will end with something that suggests she’s *gasp* really alive! What a shock. *cue eye roll* Same. Honestly, the only way the FFs won’t annoy me right now is if we find out Curtis or BS is dead in the future since we know Dinah and Rene are alive. I need at least 1 of those 4 to be gone.

I’m guessing we’ll get at least 2 pieces of “evidence” Felicity’s “dead” in the future.

If she’s not their kid, I’m going to assume whoever cast her accidentally got a piece of paper that said, “look for someone who could play Oliver and Felicity’s daughter.”

That’s what I thought. honestly, if Kat isn’t at least part of the flashforward storyline (if not Olicity’s future daughter), I’ll be shocked. Maybe the most shocked I’ll be all season. Only 8 days until we know!

Same. I’m assuming the person meant Olicity’s? Otherwise 1) spoiler! and 2) WTF. Oh that’s a possibility too.

Same. Hopefully this changes once Oliver’s out of prison and we can get Olicity scenes again. And hopefully we’ll get our Diggle back again. (Speaking of, I’d like a sneak peek that shows me we won’t be getting John “Move on, Felicity” Diggle in 706 since that’s what the photos suggest. I want to be wrong.) And I hate it every time someone asks if Felicity and Laurel are friends now because it just reminds me that Felicity’s “friends” aren’t actually her friends right now and haven’t been in some time. Like Dinah asked if they were friends in the same conversation she told Felicity to go back to witness protection where Diaz nearly killed her.

I don't know why, but for some reason, to me, Laurel is crossing her arms with her expression when she looks at Rene in this clip.

Maybe it'll be something as stupid as Oliver wants William to come home immediately and Felicity goes, "Oliver, there's 1 week left in the semester. You just visited him. Let him take his tests, get the grades for his transcript, then he'll transfer to his old school here. Think about his education."

I'll also take Felicity deciding that her family is only Oliver and William. Diggle can be part of it if he goes back to being the Diggle who cares about her. Maybe Felicity decides that Oliver can no longer make decisions on his own and all of his decisions must be family decisions. Wouldn't mind that. Then again, consider the history of episode descriptions. Felicity learning about Level Two was a "secret about Oliver" in 705.

I hope Felicity's decision in 708 is to put her family first.

Oh yeah, I forgot we haven't had an official casting announcement for SS yet.
