For the first time probably ever, I’m looking forward to at least one SCPD scene. The power of Felicity. -

http://www.greenarrowtv.com/arrow-training-day-official-preview-images/ Do they have to take a test? No, really, what is this? -

I really like OTA sitting in the back. If they could sneak out, I totally see them just leaving Rene behind. -

But Smoak Tech, with Felicity's office, is in Star City. That's the part I don't get about this. -

I feel like if there was even the possibility of EBR not coming back for S8, they wouldn't have had Smoak Tech established in Star City and her so much part of the future storyline (especially moving forward, since she's very, very likely alive). They could have easily had Felicity leave SC with Mia, since no one knows about her, instead of the whole "Felicity is pregnant in the present and everyone's around her and no one's going to know somehow" nonsense. -

Could be proof that 718 will be Laurel's last episode, could be she'll just have shorter hair moving forward. Either way, I really like her hair. -

I feel like Arrow is the only Arrowverse show where fans are basically begging for the main hero to get a happily ever after with his loved ones, but not expecting it to happen. -

WOW. I really hope that COIE isn't included in that. I want 10 Arrow episodes + COIE, but it'll probably be 9 + COIE. -

He has his own phone. Felicity also set up an encrypted messaging thing for him to talk to Zoe while he was away. Central City is not on the other side of the planet or on another Earth. Oliver and Felicity will probably be there at some point during COIE, maybe even before all the craziness so they may have time to fit in a visit. (I have no idea how they'll set up/lead into/kick off COIE, so maybe not?) NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE. -
It's true. Dinah and Zoe were too busy telling everyone Felicity had become evil and was murdered. Mia: "Did you even bother checking into her murder?" Zoe: "Of course we did. She died in an explosion." Mia: "Did you actually see a body?" Zoe and Dinah: "Body? Proof? Huh?"

Yeah, it's messy. I feel like the grandparents would have to convince Oliver and Felicity that 1) William hates them and blames them for everything that's happened to him, and 2) William's life would be in serious, serious danger if they even talk and if they care about him, they'll leave him alone? Then they'd have to convince William that Oliver and Felicity never want to see or hear from him again? I don't get how any of this will make any sense. Also, stop making Oliver and Felicity suffer! I really hope that when they find Felicity, William finds out that it's his grandparents' fault and they don't just brush it aside. Seriously, why can't the Claytons ever be in the wrong? First Samantha's stupid ultimatum and the disappearing check to help her side, now her parents? -
The more I think about 713 being the last time Oliver and Felicity see or even talk to William in the present, the less sense that makes. His grandparents clearly are to blame, and for that, I'm declaring them a bigger Big Bad than Diaz.

Laurel knowing about Felicity's pregnancy could be another sign she's leaving (at least Star City) soon. There was just something about the way she said she wouldn't tell anyone that had me a bit worried. Plus, they're really pushing the Felicity/Laurel friendship and Laurel's redemption a little too hard. And if Laurel does end up betraying Felicity (leading to the 718 episode), that could contribute to Felicity's "paranoia" in the future, as Mia put it. She trusted someone, and they used what she told her against her. Therefore, Felicity decides that she can't trust anyone else with Mia's existence, hence anyone who's not part of OTA and especially not in SC — Roy and Dinah, I still say she leaves at some point this season in the present — is out of the loop. (I could see Felicity trusting Roy, which is why she sends William to him, but if he's not around to tell, I don't see her trying to find him to tell him, you know?) -
I'm still so amused by Laurel bringing Felicity healthy food. I'm imagining her in the supermarket, Googling what pregnant women should eat. "No deli meat, potassium..." And then starting to threaten the person at the deli counter ("There better not be any deli meat or I'll...") before remembering she's turning over a new leaf. Is it bad that I want Dinah to find out in the future that Laurel knew about Mia? I just really like NTA being kept out of things.

Oliver called him John Diggle Jr. in the LoT episode.
-
Of course. But we should’ve at least gotten a kiss. Something more than hug — quick, cut away!
-
Yeah, they should have cut Oliver and Rene’s first scene and given that time to Olicity’s last one. Wish we had seen what came next after she told him.

Until we hear otherwise, I'm going to keep going with my spec earlier: Roy returns semi-soon, they all get the Mark of Four tattoo, Roy leaves again, Dinah leaves. I don't know if she killed Diaz, but I wouldn't be surprised if 718 is her last episode. Or if the finale is. But I don't think she'll be around in S8. They're rushing her redemption arc way too much. -
Do you honestly think that they would've caught Dante if Diggle had gone after him too? No, they wouldn't have. All of ARGUS, the SCPD, every team member, past and present, Team Flash, the Legends, Supergirl, the DEO, etc. could have gone after Dante in that scene and he still would've escaped. Dante obviously was going to be free at the end of the episode.

The more I think about Dinah and Roy not knowing about Mia, the more confused I get. Facts: Felicity raises Mia. Felicity starts Smoak Tech. Smoak Tech becomes successful. IN STAR CITY. Dinah recognizes Connor after a few moments, meaning she knows who he is, meaning she has some contact with Diggle at least recently enough to know he apparently adopted a kid and to know what he looks like. Something really bad would have to happen semi-soon for Oliver and Felicity to make the decision to not tell anyone she's pregnant except Diggle I think? I'm trying to figure it out, I am, but I'm coming up blank. The only thing that makes sense is something I mentioned in the Spoiler Thread: Roy comes back semi-soon. They all get the Mark of Four tattoo. Dinah leaves SC in the present sometime soon after that. But going off everything we've learned so far through this episode? I don't get it. I forgot about that. I'm pretty sure the writers did too.

Right? So, so stupid. Assuming Oliver dies — or at least the public thinks he does — William didn't try to reach out to Felicity at some point? I'm just going to blame everything on the grandparents. Much easier. When I saw that mini cassette tape, my first thought was, "it's going to be filled with messages from Oliver and Felicity for William that his grandparents hid and Felicity recently found somehow." I know that won't be the case, but still.

First of all, LOVED the Olicity scenes in this episode. Loved how happy Oliver was when Felicity said she's pregnant. HATE that William's grandparents are AWFUL, AWFUL people. They clearly cut off all communication and probably move away since I can't see Oliver and Felicity not going to Central City, but they also probably tell William that they want nothing to do with him or something. UGH. I did enjoy the Mia and William scenes, but I hate that the Queen family must continue to suffer. Going to just not acknowledge Dinah or Zoe in the future. Finally seeing the Diggle I know and love again, which was nice. Dante actually comes across as a threat, unlike Diaz, but ... FINALLY HE'S GONE! (I'm assuming. I swear, if he survives that...) Going to need an explanation for Connor ASAP because the only thing that will make sense is Sara going to another Earth/timeline, picking up a younger Connor, dropping him off, and Dyla raising two kids who will grow up to look alike while one is adopted and good luck explaining that? *sigh* Emiko, I was rooting for you. You still have a chance. Oh, and I actually really liked Laurel bringing Felicity a bunch of healthy food. Although I feel like they're really pushing the whole "Laurel's totally becoming good!" angle so hard that she's going to either go evil or just leave by the end of the season.
