  1. Franco American used to make a canned macaroni and cheese with bucatini noodles; it looked exactly like that.
  2. I thought Storm was great. I remember her as a competitor on Rockstar: Supernova about 15 years ago, and she was one of my favorites; so glad to see her again.
  3. My theory is, HA wanted to bail before the final rose, but PTB couldn't let Peter be left with no one to propose to, so they talked her into going through the motions and promised she could break up with him later in the Most. Dramatic. Final. Episode. EVER.
  4. Omigod, I am so bored. This show used to be trashy fun; now it's just a dreary slog through endless inter-bachelor conflicts and he-said/he said drama. (I felt the same way last season with the Hannah/Caelynn feud, and with Colton's virginity dominating as the central theme of the series). And then there are the group dates which frequently involve men beating the crap out of each other. Where are the fun dates? Where's the joy? Where's the alleged romance? OK, I feel better now.
  5. I understand WHY they do the theme nights; I'm just saying I don't like them because they don't allow contestants to present themselves to the best of their abilities. A great country singer can get voted off because he/she sucked at singing "When You Wish Upon a Star" and "Bohemian Rhapsody". It's just another reason why this isn't truly the "singing contest" it's purported to be.
  6. In general, I'm not in favor of these theme nights. Queen songs are not right for everybody. Disney songs are not right for ... anybody. Just let them sing the types of songs that best reflect the artists they want to be. I would have loved seeing what he would do tonight.
  7. She was starting to grow on me the last couple of weeks. but the inappropriate smiling was too much for me tonight. One of my pet peeves.
  8. I threw all my votes to Adam Lambert.
  9. That's what I thought, too! It didn't even have her name on it; it just said "Welcome home, my love" or some equally generic sentiment. Totally recyclable!
  10. I'm another one who doesn't believe that Azan swore at Nicole the way she claimed. "Shut the fuck up" is probably her interpretation of "Please stop talking". I had to laugh at the scene when Lowo and Narkiya were in the hotel room. He was holding her and talking about how glad he was to see her, how much he loved her, yada yada, and the whole time she couldn't take her eyes off the cupcakes.
  11. I have to agree with Mery Ann in one respect ... unless you come from a wealthy background, planning a destination wedding and expecting your guests to shell out for travel expenses to join you is kind of selfish, and I think that was her viewpoint. But Matt has already been married 3 times before. His family and friends are probably sick of going to his weddings, so why can't Matt and Alla just go off to Florida by themselves and get hitched, then come back to Kentucky and have a reception that everyone can attend? My husband is from Ireland and his father was the only one who was able to come here for our wedding; but we traveled there a few weeks later and had a big party for his friends and relatives, and everyone was happy. Matt needs to think outside the box a little bit.
