This is the first season where I've been so completely bored with the episodes that I forget I'm watching it. More than once, I've picked up the remote thinking "Oh man, TC is on and I'm missing it!" only to find that I'm already watching it. I think the chefs are mostly boring, or at least not as many memorable ones as in previous seasons. This far in and I can't remember which one is Dan/Danny or Savannah/Laura. I could also just be old and forgetful. 🤷♀️

They appeared to be wearing Christmas themed tees underneath their summer-gauze dresses. And had them tied in the front instead of the back. Oh Jill, you fashionista you! I didn't watch the video, but did she feed the kids or were they just there to play? Because I can SEE her taking them there to just play and hope someone invited her kids to their pizza party. Edited to say I saw the pics of them on Reddit where they got a pizza and I am honestly in shock. Unless she made Sophia (that's the other one, right?) pay with her piggy bank, then that's a whole other level of awful.

We were yelling at the television with that. Like sure, LCK usually Tom throws a challenge related to what someone was PYKAG'd for, but to be the guy who VOLUNTARILY does it? At no point did Tom do the usual "Valentine, in the challenge you effed up toasted corn and so now this challenge in LCK, you'll be making a dish consisting of nothing BUT toasted corn nuts. And include a beverage." Valentine, you got in your own way.

The female chef who tried the "I say WIS - you say CONSIN!" fueled me with irrational angst when I heard that. I'll probably still cheer for her, there don't seem to be any standout villains at the moment, so I'll chalk it up to "dumb things people on television say". Rasika is my early pick for Fan Favorite. I think she's in for the long haul here. I keep wanting to call her Radhika. Wasn't there a Radhika on the show? I can hear her name in Tom's voice. I'll forget to google this the second I open a new tab lol

Quiet On Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV
ALittleShelfish replied to BetterButter's topic in Investigation Discovery
I didn't catch if they mentioned it or not, but I got the vibe that Brandi may... not be with us anymore? I imagine there was a lot of pain and guilt and possibly some form of survivors' guilt - from both Brandi and her mom. I only knew Dan from "Head of the Class" and didn't realize he was the same Dan Schneider/Nickelodeon. Still, yikes. This dude can't possibly keep denying any of this stuff happened, can he? Common denominator and all. The whole thing was very disturbing and I shudder to think what was left on the cutting room floor, or worse - what victims/coworkers still aren't comfortable bringing up.- 99 replies

Freaknik: The Wildest Party Never Told (Hulu)
ALittleShelfish replied to DanaK's topic in ABC/FX/Hulu/National Geographic
Definitely on my watch list. I lived in Atlanta during this time, and I was fascinated by the entire week of events. I remember thinking how cool it was and how everyone came to the city just to have FUN. And then shit got crazy and it went away. -
Unrelated to anything but I love the addition of the angry emote. I will be cautious how I use it, because using it will 99.999% never be in response to the creator or whatever post I use it on, but just general rage toward any dumb shit that Jillpm does. ex: Jill & OfJill posting their gluttonous feasts on vacations while their 100 children starve at home. That is rage emote worthy for sure. But the person writing the post is not the recipient of my rage because I know they feel the same lol

Ahhhh okay that makes sense then. I was thinking they tried to present it was "we were so tired after our trip, we took a lunch trip 3 hours out of our way instead of seeing our children..." (WHICH... to be fair, would not be out of the realm of Jill's world...) It's been a week of non-thinking for me, sorry. Life will get better and I'll start thinking again, I promise! :)

I can't remember where I read that the Johns Pass/DBD's Seafood boil was prior to the Plexupalooza, but if it was, maybe they flew in/out of Tampa? Because that's a helluva drive just for lunch at a waterfront restaurant. Hm. I have a lot of questions that don't matter, but I want to satisfy at least ONE dumb curiosity today... I know she doesn't post in real time, but I want to know mostly why they can't just be normal people who do normal things. (I probably don't REALLY want to know that, do I?)

So for all of her alleged "Plexus Sisters", did none of them make this trip? Seems she would want ALLLL of the pics of her upline/downline/PlexusBesties. Since all of her pics, activities, etc were only her and DBD, it definitely highlights how she isn't nearly as highly regarded as she wants to believe (or maybe just aspires to be). I think she knows she's not in the same league as most of the others in attendance. I think Nashville was the first time she finally realized "Oh.... I see... um, okay..." with her Dollar Tree Hee Haw outfits and now at this event she was able to capture in her photos how "one of these couples is not like the others". Considering how terrible her photography skills are, it speaks volumes that her pics are able to capture that. but MAHHHHdesty, I guess.
