  1. Well, I just got home, and this live thread is not making me excited, so I’m gonna watch Southern Charm instead. I’ll check the episode thread to see if I want to watch this later.
  2. Some people just have poor taste, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
  3. Wait. They had Felicity apologize to Curtis? What, did they think people loved it when Felicity apologized to Oliver last year so much that they just had to have her do it again, but this time to someone way more smug, unlikeable and completely completely unapologetic himself? Maybe next week she can apologize to Rene for being annoyed when he calls her blondie.
  4. William goes to jail. Diaz frames him for everything he, Cayden James, Slade, Chase, Malcolm Merlyn, GA, the Arrow, the Hood, and assorted TA members have ever done and the murder that Barry was recently cleared of. Plus, that time last week that some kid stole a bottle of Pepsi from the gas station down the street.
  5. Wait, was that supposed to be anti-Felicity? They’re not doing anti right.
  6. If Felicity’s shirts need some time, then Oliver’s shirts would be happy to be there for her because Felicity and Oliver’s shirts have their own relationship completely independent of Oliver. Felicity and Oliver’s shirts have been there for each other, and just because Oliver’s shirts can’t be there for Oliver anymore doesn’t mean Felicity doesn’t have a place in their life.
  7. Right. Like, was Robert killing him self in front of Oliver not real loss? Were Shado, and Tommy, and Moira, and Sara, and Sara again, and Sara also again, and Laurel, and thinking he would never see his son again, and thinking he lost Felicity (multiple times), and Roy having to leave, and Akio, and Slade going cray, and his friendship with Anatoly, and multiple people he trusted betraying him not losses? We’ve seen Oliver alone. We’ve seen him lose people. We’ve seen the other characters lose people. It’s old. It’s tedious. Do you know what season 7 with 23 episodes needs? Something new.
  8. If Oliver’s shirts feel that they can’t be their best selves with Oliver, then I really think that they should get some distance, take some time, and just figure out where they are in life. Maybe one day they can come back and be part of the team again, and maybe Oliver will just have to adjust to not having his shirts there when he needs them anymore.
  9. It depends on just how long a little longer is and how short short is. I’m okay with waiting a little while for a decently sized update, but after a couple weeks I start to forget what’s happening in the story. As far as size, I don’t mind shorter chapters if updates are frequent, but if they’re too short it’s hard to get into the flow of the story before the chapter’s over.
  10. I would like an E2 Roy, just because then Thea doesn’t have to be either dead or broken up with E1 Roy. On the other hand, there won’t be that bond and history that E1 Roy has with OTA.
  11. After everything they’ve already put him through, at that point it’s just torture porn.
  12. The writers and various Star City citizens who contract the extremely specific form of amnesia that causes them to forget what GA’s jawline and other clearly visible facial features look like when looking at Oliver Queen and vice versa.
  13. Nah. This is a soap opera. Memories come and memories go. That’s not something they can’t undo. Although, maybe Arrow could use a good amnesia plot line. It can’t be worse than anything they’re doing now.
  14. Technically, nothing can happen on this show that can absolutely never be undone. Not with Barry walking around in the world.
  15. Maybe the president will remember that time Oliver did the world a solid and helped save it, and she’ll pardon him. People have to admit to the crime in order to get a pardon, no? That could be a reason for him to admit to being GA.
  16. Well this all sounds stupid and awful. I didn’t watch tonight or last week, and I’m not sure when I will again. I might just wait until this season is on Netflix and have it running in the background so I don’t have to devote my attention to this dreck. Why do these writers think we want to watch beloved characters turn into nonsensical pod people or be constantly put through the ringer season after season after season? Like, damn, give Oliver Queen a break. Jesus.
  17. I figured they were stashing Roy at the loft instead of the more obvious choice of Thea or Oliver and Felicity’s apartment. Of course, the loft is only about 0.2% less obvious than those and has an entire wall of windows, but it’s Arrow.
  18. At least this episode wasn’t rage inducing. Probably because Rene wasn’t in it.
  19. Shouldn’t they have made them likeable, in that case? This level of awfulness is either deliberate or the result of extreme incompetence. I’m honestly not sure which.
  20. They probably think Felicity is a ship stall. A six season long, wifed up ship stall. If so, they’re doing it very poorly. Why are the writers’ ideas so bad? Just, like, really aggressively bad.
  21. Makes her look stupid though. Maybe he’s advanced because he has tutors. Maybe he’s being tutored in advanced material not being taught in his regular classes. Maybe he’s good at math and science but sucks at English or history.
  22. I imagine Star City’s budget is a little more strapped than most, what with the annual May crises and regular villain/hero fight cleanup costs. Their police new hire processing costs alone must be astronomical.
  23. When Curtis was telling Felicity that Team Dunderfucks was done with OTA at the end I was waiting for him to add on, “but we’ll still work how Oliver is the devil in to all of our conversations because we really don’t have any other reason for hanging out together. It’s not like we actually care about this city. “ I wouldn’t be surprised to see a picture of Oliver with horns drawn on pinned to a dart board in the notbunker.
  24. Why is Dinah so convinced that Oliver was hung up on BS looking like Laurel? She wasn’t around for the Lauriver mess. She never even met Laurel. She’s seen Oliver give BS the benefit of the doubt like once, very briefly. Maybe? Was she around when they found out About BS? It doesn’t matter. Her attitude had no basis in fact.
