I on the side of those that hated this twist. It screw with the leg and it can totally make a team that rocked in the other tasks to lose for a way behind team just at one try on a lame challenge. Since we gonna have more of this, I hope the next one its better than this (they racing close to each other allowed unfair moves to take other from the race). Lame, as I think the othe twist will be. Still rooting for Kristi and Jen, they did great again, despiste their little self navegation issues. If they get it together, they can go all the way. And yeah, team BB are probably a lock to at least go untill the very end (just assuming from how they are performing, getting focus and how TPTB probably want to have them all the way) unless they mess up.

Apart from the the roadblock and navigation the rest of the leg was meh.. But since they didnt had the teams in different flights as usual, maybe they wanted to keep things more simple for this premiere (and thats why such a close race at the finale). For me, Kristi and Jen for the win. They did the best this leg, are very promissing and its about time for another all girls team to win. I was expecting team Big Brother to struggle more (despiste we didnt see the guy showing how he solved the letters roadblock). Producers want them till the very end, so... Other teams, still need to see.. But the Goat Yoga and the Basketball team are already showing fadig? Geeez! Couldnt care enough about the ring girls. They didnt performed the worst on the leg tho, should have be one of the teams above, BUT, if you struggle that much to park a car, well.. I wont mention what was showed on the preview of the season but I just hope the new twist is something just for one task or one leg at the most. PS: Good to see the show rating rised 70% over last couple seasons.

I think she did but she wasnt giving the words the right emphasys. The biggest fail *showed on camera/close up* was her doing a subdue lip sync while Whitney was screaming a high note. She was too focused on the dance moves, and nothing else (if she wants to be the fierce dancer, she should watch Alyssa on how to build a dance routine for a lip sync). It was really flat like her other lip syncs, it has not build up/no moment and souless in parts. When she lip sync against Nina on her bottom two appearance I totally saw her performance as a crack on her armor. Others gave her the benefit of the doubt saying that it was the song/going against Nina that already gave up etc. The lip sync with the 4 queens together also, she was the least exciting. IMO, last night just proved the crack on her armor. Nothing that she can´t fix but she needed this to seal the deal for her case this season and she didnt.

IKR? This season already was suffering get the audience excited (I just watched the last Pit Stop episode on Vh1 website with Bob presenting and even there he said that he found this season boring till the reunion) and the moments that could make people gag were all spoiled. The finale outcome in particular, like about 90% of the fans/core audience already knew it. It was good still, but imagine how more shocked/the repercussion would be if people went to this finale really expecting Trinity to have a shot, Shea as the most possible winner, Sasha as a second place finisher and Peppermint stuck in 4th?! (at least that was the mindset for alot of the fans before the finale was tapped and the spoilers leacked).

Things that happened and werent aired acording from some people that were there: ´´Ru's entrance was filmed twice, up to the part before she turned around The judges gave an ad lib response based off the the prompter I could see Ru said that the house was overbooked and she needed to find a seat for an old friend of hers and was asking people to give up their seats. She "randomly" chose a seat, which was India Farrah's, and had security come escort her out. Naturally, it was none other than Mimi Imfurst who came down the aisle, picked her up like in S3, and walked out with her. Then Porkchop came in and took India's seat, now that Ru had made on available for her Anytime Valentina was on stage, people would start chanting her name. It also happened a bit during Peppermint's interview, so we'll see how much more of that they'll release. Peppermint also said she would buy another pink skirt with the 100k The crowd lost their shit a lot more at wintergreen They didn't do any questions from the drag queen alumns. I barely remember them from two weeks ago, but it had to deal with trans kids coming out and how she separates trans from drag. They didn't show the video from Katy, it was just the audio Papa Velour also said the he originally thought Sasha was too good, in her artistry, for drag race and then saw how she would excel at it in later seasons Again, no drag alum questions. She was asked about her favorite piece of art, which took 5 minutes, but I don't remember what else was asked They not showing any of the queens saying who they want to lip sync against and not against, only Shea so far Shea said she'd buy that car with the 100K along with paying off student loans S9 queens were not in the audience for B roll footage, so their reactions are genuine, the other audience reactions are 90% B roll They asked Trinity what photo she uses on apps and she said she uses the tuck cause her face would scare people off They removed trinity saying she wants to go against peppermint so if she lost, shed lose to the best lip syncer of the season Trinity got a video message from Amanda Lepore Ru only spun the wheel once The box process took about 2 minutes or so and she went with the crowd Ru said dun dun dunnnn say they approached the front Audience reaction is not genuine, they recorded us to two other people acting out the songs. The audience went so nuts over Pep's reveal that they actually toned it down a LOT. You couldn't hear the song any more after the reveal Ru left the stage for about 5 minutes to figure out who moved on The crowd was chanting Peppermint the entire time, they removed that They removed Shea's slip on the roses. It was the ONLY time she went to the right side of the stage The crowd was chanting Sasha the entire time after the lip sync, and again, they removed that Peppermint's speech was thanking all the trans, non-binary kids, and she kept dropping "if I won" before every sentence The audience standing up and cheering WAS re-recorded for Ru's reactions, but it was barely 50% of the actual reaction, so I think that's why theres so little of Ru reacting to the lip syncs. They primarly did it for Sasha, when the crowd yelled "AND PEP" they said "oh we can edit that in if we want to" `` Overall they say that the reaction from the live audience was bigger and the lip syncs had even more impact live. They probably turned it down cause it would give away all Ru´s decisions.

Like mentioned above, they had to save airtime/chairs to show random youtubers.

IDK.. Maybe her tought process was: If our lip sync comes to a closer one, Ru will save the queen that did the best on the competition so let me pick the one with the lowest score? It was really a upside down situtation. Some queens would be afraid to go against Shea on the lip sync thinking she was the one way ahead/Ru´s choosen one while in the fact, she was the best option to go against, since shes the weakest/least inspiring lip syncer.

Yes, you have a point here... For this season it worked/was a fair way to break up a close race. Seasons with uneven final 3 tho, yes, could be risk. Actually, maybe they might start to consider to decide the finale breaker depending on the season.. Queens would signe out to the show more prepared for anything, instead of think they cracked the code on how to win the show. For me, all 4 went to the finale with a missing piece to make them the winner and after tonight, IMO, Sasha showed herself as the most well rounded queen. Shea and Trinity would be close. Peppermint still is trusting more on her charisma and lip syncs skills (that actually was above Sasha´s and Trinity´s tonight). Looking back, Sasha was able to pull of acting, comedy, looks, have a brand and in the end be a fierce lip syncer aswell.

We could argue about queens winning the later seasons counting more on personality or comedy or fashion over other stuff.. Theres always something.. Lip Syncs, when its given good songs like tonight where both contestants can shine, are a good way to break a tie. You can win a lip sync with dance moves, with a great look, with comedy, with dance moves etc.. Its all about how you combine more of these qualities and put on your lip sync. Also, it was a big slap on the face of Charlie, Valentina and other queens with lame lip syncs/counting to move to the finale without have to do it. Next season we might have queens more prepared to perform fierce lip syncs instead of just play a character for the cameras/the audience fighting to be the ultimate fan favorite.

Not so sure... To make to the finale, you have to excell on the challenges... Even as a fierce lip syncer, theres only a number of times you can fall in the bottom (Peppermint lucky was that she didnt hit the limit). Like, I saw someone on another forum saying that with this format Coco would win season 5,... Like nooo giiirl, she still wouldnt make into the finale anyway.

Ok, lets go straight to the lip syncs cause that was the appeal of the finale, Round 1: Trinity X Peppermint : I knew the spoilers and was expecting Peppermint to kill it. For me, Trinity was ROBBED! She worked her way out the entire song while Peppermint was fadding away most of the song and only showed up for a reveal of a ugly/illfitting dress! I call shade! Round 2: Sasha X Shea: Both times I saw Shea lip sync I was dissapointed/expected more. This was her best on the show but still not enough. Sasha in other hand, we didnt know what to expect and she brought it! And different from Peppermint, she didnt trust only on the use of a prop (the petals), she really gave more emotion and life to the song. Final Round Sasha X Peppermint: Peppermint did her thing but once again, Sasha KILLED IT! Like, I didnt had a big favorite and actually I was really unsure about Sasha´s performance´s skills when I was thinking of her winning. She actually served the two best/most unpredictable lip syncs of the night and deserved the crown. Ranking the lip sync: Sasha1 and 2 (a tie for me) Peppermint 2 Trinity Peppermint 1 Shea. I liked the idea of the lip sync at the finale but it was too short. Next season, they should make a two hours special. PS: Bob The Drag Queen serving Camarooonnn!!!

After her elimination on S7, when people went to attack Kennedy online Katya was very fast to tell her fans that from her perspective, Kennedy totally won their Lip Sync, that she was fierce/deserved her place in the competition, even went further by saying that producers made her own lip sync looks better that it was (I think it was a close one but she went further saying it wasnt even close as a damage control). And on further tweets/ interviews she kept saying that she found no sense from the fans to attack other queens, thas she found it stupid etc. She didnt spare the crazy fans to feel guilty about it and now most of her fans know that the last think she wants/you would expect from her is to take drag sooo serious.

These Valentina stans are probably mostly the same Adore Delano stans. Couple weeks ago I saw one commenting that Adore doesnt need the show, that shes bigger than Ru Paul and that she also won American Idol lmao (they totally change the facts, Adore= Danny Noriega only made top 16 on AI). The thing about Valentina tho, is that she seems to share some of the delusion from her fans, like comparing herself to Selena. When she said that she couldnt reach to the fans cause she was still dealing with her elimination it felt like that at some degree she agreed with them that her elimination was somehow unfair/that should be a giving for her to stay on the show even messing up.

It really seems Ru and the queens realized, after the show aired that this season would be forgotten about two days after it ends so they really came prepared to give the audience a little more to be remembered about this season other than queens giving up on the lyp sinc. Lmao at Trinity to Charlie: ´´Girl, if you gonna give us excuses, stick up with only one, dont give us five``. And well, Valentina confirmed what people started to see but couldnt fully see it during the competition: The bitchy was in totally competition mode, at least when she was out of drag or on untucked. If at least she had kept the same focus on the challenges and runway, but seems she tought her act would be enough for producers/Ru give her a free ride to the top 3 and than the audience buying her act would crown her the winner. She got half the way there... I called this last week and watching this reunion makes it even more sense for me: The queens became very self aware of the cameras on the later seasons, since they know they need to play nice to win with the audience/take the tittle. Just seems tho, these queens went too far to the point they missed alot opportunities to show their real personalities and be more funny. Like, geeez, look at Farrah! Even Kimora, she actually was eloquent here, not that dumb queen we saw during the season.

I think the show needs to bring the competition feeling to the show again and find a way to keep it warm till the end. This is now oficially Ru Paul´s Best Friend Race. Like, I don´t want those fake/forced dramas from early seasons but I dont want it to become such a stress free/friendly competition ( I think some queens are being extra polite and nice because they know they wont stand a chance with the public voting for the winner aswell). Is top 4 week and its hard to bring them down to 3? Separate them in two pairs of 2 to a real lip sync for your life. The two that win goes to the finale, the other two battle each other for the 3rd spot!

Okey dokey... for the first time, not the results that people expected from the spoilers I guess... But once we got the ´´critics`` and everyone just got praise, I expected it to happen... Based on tonight, being nitpick: The performances on stage: Shea>Sasha>Peppermint>Trinity. The looks: Trinity>Sasha>Shea>Peppermint. But not a big distance between them/matter of taste and details. This is a close one and I´m not sure the direction the public will go... I dont even know who I really want to win.,. For the first time I dont have a choose one and I wouldnt mind any of them winning... If we look the full competition and who gave the best/was the fearless with very little down moments, Shea should win. If you think that the outside the box drag should win, Sasha should win... If you go for a unexpected tragetory and a unapologetic bitch, Trinity is the one. But if you root for the underdog, the trans representation, the undeniable charisma, Peppermint is your choice...

I miss the spark from her sometimes aswell but shes comming out of her shell and this week, her presence on stage was the most fun/spark I got from her. Also she was the funniest on the puppet challenge. Unfortunatelly she had to finish with that cowboy look, that was when she lost me a bit (and I guess the judges aswell). I dont think Alexis deserve as much hate as she get, but yeah ,sometimes... Waiting to see untucked if shes gonna get real to herself (as she did after her elimination) or if she will bring up again the ´´why you guys didnt tell me I had a basic look???`` card again =_=

Well, nothing surprising about this week outcome, even without the spoilers. Now on the runway IMO: Rainbow looks: Sasha>Shea>>>Trinity>>>Peppermint>>>>Alexis Unicorn looks: Sasha>>>>>>>>>Shea>Trinity>Alexis>>>>Peppermint YMCA looks: Shea>>>Trinity>>>>Alexis>Peppermint>Sasha (she somehow made it chick but it was underwhelming and probably cost her the winning) Lip Sync: Damm, who is choosen the lip sync songs? Its a gay anthem, but it only allows space for comedy and we dont have comedy queen. Propos for Alexis to serve it at the beginning (that was the only point I thought she could have it) and for Peppermint to keep it up when Alexis went low energy. Still, both had to rely on do their basic dance routines.

Apart from the hot dog ´´challenge`` it was a well designed leg... But yeah, the results and tha lack of pretty much any team changing places and no much suspense at all once it went to the last commercial break made it boring. Scott will get U$999,000 and Brooke U$1,00 right? Results like this makes me almost want the race to be individual, both of course if would miss a good portion on how it works. With the strangers cast tho, they could have done something in the middle so the teams could or should swap partners. That would be a interesting twist and put contestants on test. would have liked it instead of those bad placed U-turns.

Yes, and that was the point the other queens tried do show to her. They were not only concerned for her but for themselves cause they all want to be remembered for being on a fierce season, not on a weak one were queens gave up on lip syncs one after the other. And also like Shea pointed it out, Nina giving up would just take the merit and the attention of her winning the lyp sinc. That Lip Sync that Trinity was on, was supose to be memorable for the fact that she was killer on the stage but people will remember more on how patetic Charlie´s performances was. And Nina should knew better herself after her lip sync with Valentina, how she felt abou it.

This season will be known as the one with the queens that threw the towel on the lip sync. 3 times. Yes, Nina pretended she was trying (just after the other queens pretty much beg to her to not totally blow it like Charlie and Valentina, but still, you could see she was serving like her 60/70%.

Untucked this week is pretty much all the queens having a good time, praising each other hard work with the boys and Nina dead behind them till she return as the phantom of the negative energy going on about give up on the lyp sinc. In other hand, very nice from the guy that was paired with her watching her in the bottom/eliminated and getting really emotional.
