You guys are talking about Aquaria getting a free pass this week (with I kinda agree) but the same happened last week with Cracker IMO. I still need to see both of these queens lip sync to really tell how good would they be (the only ones so far to not lip sync) but I´m wondering, that not only producers/Ru want them to move on, but also, after last season lip sync fiasco (till the finale), they didnt wanted to waste the chance to create some bottom 2 with fierce lip syncers this season. It happened last week, it happened again this week. Again, I mght be wrong since I still need to see Cracker and Aquaria skills as lip syncers (Kameron already surprised us), but I wonder how would these two lip syncs go if Cracker had landed in the bottom 2 last week and Aquaria on this weeks, as they should. PS: I love Monet (who doesnt?) but moving forward, I dont think she would pass next week anyway. Its gonna be pretty much a runway challenge with two distinct looks and Monet has being the one with the least potential to wow us on the runway. The 5 meaining tho, all had their wow moments there.
-
I think It had more to do with the make up... Monet herself dont use alot/has a signature make up and they didnt liked what she did with Tyler´s eyebrows.
-
Lmao, that is it! I was trying to think who we reminded me, it looked alot like Cynthia in one of her runway looks.
-
I disagree ... The show is about the drag queens. The youtubers here are just guests and the focus its on their interaction with their drag partner. So yeah, they cut down parts that would make the episode be about the youtubers/let the queens in second plane. If their fans want more of their interaction with each other and more from their participation, they might check out on their personal youtube channels.

Good episode, once agains the queens of this season are making it hard so it comes down to little details... Based on the final results alone, I would have Aquaria and either Monet or Kameron in the bottom (Monet for execution, Kameron for play too safe).. I dont know if Ru wanted to spare Aquaria from a possible elimination going against fierce lip syncers like Monet and Kameron or if she was spared because of how well she did so far/the fact that her youtuber just wasnt open to enjoy the experience as the others (he was too shy all the way). On the top, I agree, good for Cracker to finally have the win she wanted so much (I think she should have won week 1 actually). She did a great job with her partner and a nice job with herself (despiste the fact that we saw that runway look done a little better from Violet). Asia did great aswell. Eureka.... I think they avoided the potential of them explode together, but I´m not that fan of the style (as the other queens). But its her style, thats what she was going for and I dont see the same problems on execution as Cracker saw.. Lip Sync was very close... Monet gave more atittude, while Kameron was playing more professional/sexy.. I see a pattern on Kameron´s lip sync tho but shes very good. Monet had the disavantage from be there 3 times and the minute she turned back to the judges, walked away from the stage and return to do that slip and it didnt landed very well, that it would be enough to send her home.
-
Kameron is beating the odds... The lip sync was great but if it was about pick one, Kameron won. I wonder if producers/Ru really expected that or if they had Kameron in the bottom instead of Cracker thinking she would be a easy one to beat at the lip sync (as we know they want Eureka at the finale). Anyway, someone said here a couple weeks ago that the black queens would turn out as assassin lip syncers, after tonight, seems we found more fierce lip syncers outside the black queens.

First time this season I disagree both with the winner and one of the bottom 2 queens.. I dont think Asia was that funny, she sorta broke character at a moment and other than that she was more herself, just like Cracker.. I think she was better than Cracker sure, but winning? But from the moment Ru went to her station, It was clear she was pushing for a Asia comeback/victory. IMO, Aquarias was the funniest and I dont have such a problem with her look... Like Ru said, shes the youngest, in 50 years from now, she can look like that.. She could have aged just a bit, but Cracker also didnt aged her face as much... And on the bottom, for me Cracker was the most obvious pick... I understand her character was the one with the most lines, so she had more to screw up, but she just played herself and not as funny as her natural self.. Bottom 2 for me this week would be her and Eureka (she was lazy this week, both on challenge and on runway). Kameron struggled at the challenge but she pulled out the most impressive transformation at the runway (thats what I was expecting the most with this runway) and she brought the acting and fun she missed at the challenge. That should have saved her. It seems the queens agree with me because they really thought Kameron would be safe and they seemed kinda surprised with Asia winning. But since it was a non-elimination, no one was robbed... I think Ru had this on his cards, thats why he threw Cracker a life jacket this week because I´m note sure she would be able to survive that lip sync. PS: As far Monet, as always, really good at the challenge but a big disappointment at the runway. It wasnt neither funny enough (the execution was lazy... She should at least had hold those breasts and than let it fall at some point, her runway this week pretty much let everything hanging) and neither glamourous. PS2: From all the latests seasons, I´m glad we gonna have a extra week on this one.. (unless there is a double elimination, but I doubt it).

Again, this is one of those pre-scripted challenges were its not much about queens creativity and more about their ability on act/lip sync/follow coreography. And to be fair, while some got some better material, it was more even this time around (specially because, in the end, everyone was playing Cher, so...). Kameron and Monet were no doubt more on point.. Monet would have take it on past seasons were runway didnt count at all on challenges like this. But this season, they count and there was no way she would be announced the winner wearing that. It was just me or Ru looked reluctant/not very happy on give Kameron the victory? Anyway,, fun episode, again, very ballanced and a very good/strong final 6. Despiste the close lip sync, Vixen was finished the minute she put herself in the bottom 3rd week in a row for very fair reasons. Watching Untucked, IDK why some of these queens (Cracker in particular) so bothered by Aquaria´s overconfidence. You actually should like it, see as a chance for her to trip , unless what really bothers you is the fact she manages to keep herself calm under the pressure while you are struggling. It seems that now with Vixen gone, we gonna have some more of Cracker X Aquaria but now it seems things changed a bit from the beginning. PS:Asia, stop with excuses. Just do your part well. You failed because your struggled, not because your part wasnt good. And the discussion about the runway look.. I´m glad that Kameron is starting step up and give her most honest and straight opinions.
-
Gonna miss her talking heads and snark/funny comments on untucked. Shes very funny as herself. Too bad she couldnt be near as close to be funny playing a character. PS: Two weeks ago, I had a hard time predicting how the competition would turn out. Now, I´m finding hard we not have a Aquaria X Eureka top 2, with either Monet or Asia as 3rd place? I would bet on cracker but shes fading on challenges she should excel.
-
Well, into the challenge first: No doubt, Aquaria, Monet and Eureka (in this order) were the best. The others, were either meh or miss.. Aquaria just proved that even you not being a comedy queen, you can and should be well prepared for Snatch Game. See Asia running without options, Monique getting out of character every second, The Vixen trying to rely on other queens to hide the fact she sucked? No excuse. On the runway, I felt unconfortable watching the queens on those wheel chairs. I think they could have done a mermaid inspire runway either without the tails or with the queens on plataform made to expose them in a good way, not like that. Anyway, not crazy about most of he looks, apart from Aquaria that killed, making sure she would get a well deserved victory this week. Talking about suck the oxygen out the room, try to hear yourself Vixen.; Christ... For someone that say she battles for political issues, that has to deal with alot stuff, shes comming of as childish queen. And hes obsession with Eureka is getting more and more annoying. She putted a target on her since she just saw her on tv on season 9 and that is it, she just went prepared not to like her. Now with Eureka doing so well and with her sinking, shes just mad that is not the other way around. She expected the queens to be on her side and join her to be against Eureka. Since they werent, she felt ´´bretrayed``. Oh well, unfortunatelly Monique went out of resource and after just be safe every week, have her first critic on stage on her lowest point, everything going on, I think she kinda gave up. She said she didnt had time to learn the song... Ok, might be true.. But from the minute she threw her wig and not even making a effort to fake the lip sync, it look obvious to me she just wanted to be sent home. Worst lip sync of he season by far. Monique gave up and Vixen was all over the place. PS: Cracker, I know you are friends, but dont try to make a case for your friend when he/shes acting like that. She shut you down in return. C´mon, you´re smarter than that.

I hate when any reality show gives contestants a free pass on their sob story (that why I dont like them on competitions where the audience vote for example). Its unfair with other competitors and further on, the contestant that made further because of the sob storie, will get a backlash for that. Yes, its nice/brave for them to bring it up, they deserve all respect and support, but not by getting a advantage on the competition. Its two different things, and if the judges have taken that in consideration by saving Blair, we could start to see queens using their backstories on a strategic way, with would be lame.
-
I think the Snatch Game will be a make or break moment for some of the queens you mentioned... Kameron, will she be able again to do something enough to keep herself safe despiste her quiet personality? Monet will find her way to the top/keep herself out of the bottom by herself/without a group support? And Cracker will finally show how good she can be as a comedy queen or will she fail, stol and go spiral down? (because I dont think she will handle/take well at least be in the top on Snatch Game, comming after be in the bottom). Might also finally be the chance for Monique to get herself out of the safe zone.

This season, daamm! They are giving everything I want from drag race: funny, fierce, vulnerable, smart, model queens (theres all for everyone and probably the one that manages to sell of most of all of this together, will take it), with original challenges (this Drag Con panel was a great ideia because its actually something the queens will need to do after the show), the looks on the runway were so strong ( Asia and Aquaria were my favorites this week). No doubt Team Eureka was the best one and she totally deserved her second victory because she really tied her team together, gave them the right direction, she probably made the others more confortable since they didnt had to be worried about having unconfortable silent moments, and she did it without overshadow the other two. Eureka is a serious contender right now. Team Monique was solid, she really helped the team bringing some natural funny moments to balance out with Aquaria and Asia´s more serious/self centered aproachs... They missed the opportunity on do together the make up on the pit crew guy by the end.. That moment when Aquaria and Asia started to do their own thing, at the same time, cost them.. Monique is hilarious, even during serious moments on untucked. But we saw a problem with her tonight, learning why some of her outfits on the runway come of as afterthoughts, because they really are afterthoughts, and on a runway like today, her last min look didnt stand a chance against most of the other queens looks. On the bottom team, that was obvious.. They already made the mistake of not have a moderator, than they relyed too much on shade each other and it felt forced and staged. This challenge was about be natural.. I feel for Cracker because she really is very funny and smart (I love her reviews on youtube, brilliant), but shes having a hard time to translate her comedy to the challenges so far.. She quite did it last week, but other than that, shes missing it. Soo, either shes gonna figure it out and finally get her win, or she will start to get lost on her own head about it and it might cost her a place that we would expect from her at the final 3. Lets see.. The Vixen is falling the last couple weeks.. Last week she avoided the bottom just by a little bit, this week she was the worst combining the challenge + the runway (the concept was good but the execution was baad). The fact she didnt expected to be in the bottom 2, was counting on be safe, schocked me waay more that she was shocked when she learned she was actually in the bottom 2... Guuuiiirrll, producers can´t keep you out of the bottom just because you bring drama for very long... And Blair.. her look this week was very nice, but she wasnt shinning as we would expect from a broadway queen and tonight it was her time.. Again, with this cast, and specially at her age, she has to be proud to made this far and managed to compete with this seasoned queens without come of as totally out of her debt. The lip sync she did a good job but as expected, The Vixen woulnt go for a lip sync without give 110%. PS: Glad producers are making a effort to make Kameron part of the competition, despiste her quiet personality/lack of shade.

Again, this season its a thought competition... Like, no one really bombed this week (ok, no one but Monet for really be lacklust on the max challenge for the horrible runway look) but bitchy manages to be a killer lip syncer (shes this year Peppermint, just dont know if the competition this season will allow her to go as far..). I´m sorry to see Mayhem go.. She was a really nice and polished queen and I was expecting her to bomb at the max challenge, but she did better than Monet, The Vixen and Aquaria.. The runway tho, not my favorite from her... But what really put her in the bottom/sent her home was the fact that after week one, she wasnt able to steal the scene... Shes more quiet so she would need something to stand out among this group.. Her looks were really good, but IDK, she lacks presence.. Watching her walking on the runway and her lip sync, its too expected.. Other queens are pulling out stuff out of the box while she was doing the basic.. Well done, but basic. As for the top two, Cracker and Eureka both did great and IMO it could be a double win. Eureka went for the more obvious/in your face/shameless joke while Cracker build it up with her puns.. Different styles but both efficient.. And their looks were adorable (Cracker really knows how to sell a character on the runway). And wow, Kameron got her first talking head!!!! She actually surprised me with her max challenge, she did well.. But she still no delivering on personality... She and Blair should be worried because Mayhem had the same problem and went home on just a little slip.

´´Thats what we call a Lip Sync For Your Life!`` , talking on how good she thought it was/how she expects the others to bring that level once them find themselves there.
-
IKR? Week one I didnt know what we would get from her, but based on the last two weeks, shes wowing me with her looks. However, there is no character to Kameron or something that stood out on her out of drag.. At least it not being showed at all.. Her acting with her Mars outfit was the only glimpsy of character we saw from her. I think shes using so strong looks that she felt confident that they should speak for themselves maybe? She said she was unsure on her Mars outfit so she compensated by showing personality. She needs do more of that otherwise....

A great episode. Really good idea do go on reverse and put a ball challenge with THREE looks for each queen (once again, lame on you All Stars season). It really is a great cast when so early on the game its getting hard to see this queens leaving.. Dusty, I didnt see that comming, no this week. I think the fall in the bottom because the judges took in consideration other stuff and even past performances, otherwise, based on what was presented in the runway this week, it would be Monet X Asia. But yep, Dusty would still be 3rd to last and after last week awfull runway, she needed to do better. Unpopular Opinion: I love Miz Cracker, but I was a little underwhelmed with her looks this week.. It was too much on the nose, specially the Mars.. I agree with her when she wondered if she was too obvious/too safe. I would have her in the safe group with Eureka in the top 3, right behind Kameron and Aquaria. And I agree with the judges that Aquaria took this one. It was a close one between her and Kameron tho, but Aquaria managed to take the themes and still put her brand on all the three looks. She had the wow factor without the need to pull of big stuff/alot clothes. And what a great lip sync. Monet killed it but Dusty served (specially in the second hald). In the end, I think one of the weakest queens one of the strongest (if not the strongest) cast left. In other seasons, what she brought would be enough to keep her around further. PS: Kudos for the producers to avoid to point out who would leave by the editing. In other seasons you could really pick from the edit who out of the bottom 2 would leave. This week, after see alot of Monet and Asia and just a little bit from Dusty, I wasnt expecting her to be in the bottom and be the one leaving. Thank you for keep it suspenseful and make the show feels like a real competition again.
-
I think the most of the similarity was because of the crow (it actually looked like they were two crow Queens that fought each other and Eureka beat Yuhua), and since most of the queens where inspired by birds, it should be expected same inspirations, but it wasnt thaat similar. The most problematic looks for this week/my bottom three would be Yuhua (reasons judges already gave), Dusty (giiirl, you stepped up last week, what type of rare beat down bird this was supose to be?) and Monet (pretty much same basic look from last week just with a little feathers add on.. This is not a recycle challenge).
-
Wooow, watchin untucked now.. The call out on Aquaria behavior (even before Drag Race) and The Vixen bringing the potential for her be creating scenes the will set the racists against her.. Thats something it was talked on forums but I dont recall this being said on the show before and I think its about time... She is too harsh/confrontantional, buut, it is easier for the audience to jump on Aquaria´s crying ´´attacked`` white queen agains the confrontational/pointing fingers black queen. Maybe it can finally raise some awareness on the fans?. Aquaria needed that call out. The Vixen tho, she needs to tone it down just a bit.. You can get your point across without be so cutthroat.
-
On the acting challenge I think most of the queens were middle of the road this week.. Apart from Asia´s funny face (thats a gif/meme material) and Blair charming character, everyone else was meh, even Eureka (she was there in the top because the others were reeeaally boring and it seems judges want to boost her confidence). On the runway tho, there were so very good looks, specially from the queens that thought outside the box.. Kameron´s look? Daaamm, that was perfection, every single detail, so good that is the first time I really saw some potential on her, too bad she had to suck on the main challenge. While I think many of those queens could find themselves in trouble based on underwhelming acting (I dont know if its the cast or the material they came with this week) Mayhem really put herself in trouble by accept do so little (lesson learned I guess) and Yuhua.. oh Yuhua... She seems like a nice queen but she was clueless and I think I saw maybe some culture barrier going on because she was misreading even simple stuff the girls tried to comunicate with her.. However, her using those fake excuses was lame (the queens TOLD HER to be more ugly, not the opposite, don´t blame them). The lip-sync was the fair representation of both in the competition: Mayhem is a fighter, a nice queen that can go fierce if her ass is on the line, while Yuhua tries, but she miss the mark for being clueless. I still need to watch untucked to see how things went off stage.
-
Oh yeah... Like, I dont think they should waste they very best (unless you think you might be in trouble) buut at least choose from your top 5 best looks (top 3 depending on the queen) or something that stands out (like Aquaria did). Some choices were really questionable. Kalorie in particular, guuuiiirl, you should be aware that you had to impress/your time was running short, that what you had to present? Even Mayhem bothered me with that gown not fully hitting the floor. Monét and that overdone suit with that hair...IMO, Aquaria, Cracker and Dusty were the most sucessfull this week. Lucky for the ones missing the mark, the runway was like 10% into judges decision this week and thats why the random theme. Still, I think they could have come out with something else and saved ´´your best drag`` for the semi-finals at least.

With the show boosting so much the career of some queens and not so much of others, and also becoming a reference in the drag comunity, I think some the queens are holding alot weight about be on the show, meet the expectations, don´t leave so earlie, dont ruin their reputation... Also, add the stress of the tapings, be isolated from the rest of the world, people that you care.. Like many queens said, its intense... We only see the edit product, and we take like if the time they have taping is the same as the show airs and its not.. Buuut, having said that, producers needs to make sure to balance things and make sure the queens can also have fun so we can have fun aswell... So far, for me, its ballanced.. We are having the crying queens, but we are having other stuff.. And as we pass this early episodes, weaker queens going, things might change. Changing subject, ´´your best drag`` runway for week 2 and would you really expect a smart queen would really waste their personal best this early? Judges themselves said before that when a queen raise the bar high, they need to keep it up. I doubt most of the queens really picked their personal best. The ones that see the finish line, are saving it for later on/last week.
-
Despiste this not be my favorite type of challenge it was, again, heads and shoulders above the similar ones from All Stars (really, if All Stars 3 served for something, it was to make season 10 to look even better). As far the teams delivery, clearly Eureka and Kalorie sank their team. If wasnt for them, it would be more of a kneck to kneck and I even think Ru could have picked the top and bottom on both teams, because some queens shined on the losing team, specially on the runway looks. Dusty for example, she surprised me.. Was expecting her to serve Milk level of unfinished looks/off the mark performances, but she nailed this week. While I agree that Aquaria could have pushed a little further on her interpretation, the combination of her look and those dance moves she pulled of, outshined most of things I saw from other queens this week. But yeah, The Vixen won for be solid all across the board and ´´lead`` her team to the victory. I´m torn on her, it bothers me that shes trying too hard to get on board with the Aquaria X Cracker thing, despiste the fact she was telling the true. In other hand, shes here to play the game.. I dont think shes the most crafted queen, so she knows she needs to stand out on other ways.. On the bottom queens, again, obvious bottom 2.. I felt for both but Eureka needs to get out of her head/pull of this weight and fear of embarasse herself and poor Kalorie, she really was out of her league in many aspects. At least, she can claim she went against a strong cast. For the lip sync, I expected at least some little dancing from the girls, like Alyssa said this is not kindergarten for you to just walk and the song is upbeat. But since both went for only interpret the lyrics, Eureka did the best (still, not enough to beat the queens behind her). PS: Again on All Stars 3, glad they learned that even on a episode where the runway looks are not the main focus of the challenge, you can/should have a fully runway presentation, without severe cuts (but again, that was because of the lame deliberations queens had to do on eliminating themselves). PS2: Ru laughing at Vanessa´s elimination last week? I actually was glad we got to see more of the real Ru. It surprised me the editors hightlighted her going out of character for once.

Trixie at Aquaria almost slapping Jinkx: ´´ Roxxxy Andrew just jumped out of her seat in a gay bar and is claping because someone slapped Jinkx`` lmao.
-
Lmao, so true. This would be a perfect season for a Conjoined Twins challenge. Its gonna take a couple weeks to set apart some of them. I also wonder if one will cancell the other earlier than expected. Anyway, since Miz Cracker has all those photos of her make ups as reference, I´m expecting we gonna get to the point were we gonna have Aquaria looking at those and telling that every single one is a copy of her make ups.
