I have watched Kelly oogle and make a fuss about sexy men numerous times on this show. I am not a prude by no means, but what if Ryan touched and made a fuss over a sexy looking chef. Would that be acceptable. What do we tell our children - women can and men can’t. If other male tv personalities are being fired and reprimanded for inappropriate comments and actions, shouldn’t female tv personalities be held to the same standard. Let’s treat everyone with respect regardless of gender.

Not a Megyn Kelly fan, but I think she was totally correct with her questions to Jane Fonda. Even though Jane looks great for 80, she is irrelevant to most of us and comes across as trying to be cool. Betty White is cool - Jane is not. I saw her in an interview with Lily Tomlinson and she hogged the conversation. I would have liked to hear more from Lily.

I also was surprised how Andy and Kelly reacted to Anderson working on his partner's birthday. My husband and I don't get much vacation time so we use it judiciously and spend it as a family vacation instead of individual vacation days.. We celebrate each birthday at our dinner meal if it is a work day or school day. That is also how we celebrate our anniversary. I don't think Kelly realizes not everyone gets 12 weeks vacation a year. Happy for her but I don't know of many people with that luxury.

I never understood wearing sleeveless dresses when it is freezing. The men are in long sleeve shirts, vests, suit jacket and long pants and the women are sitting there in summer dresses and bare legs complaining about how cold it is. It always seemed to me that whoever picked their outfit was purposely trying to make them look like they were not smart enough to dress sensibly. Maybe now that women are feeling more empowered it will give them more confidence to just say no.

Okay, so they are adding Meghan McCain...a conservative. So we will be back to 4 liberals and a liberal audience disagreeing with 1 conservative. They must pay these conservative hosts a huge amount of money. Let's take bets on how long she will be there before she gets fired too.

Haven't watched the show in a long time, but heard the news about Jedi and knew everyone on this board would be ecstatic. They should just replace her with someone that appeals to the audience. Not a liberal or a conservative observation, but I think it would be more fair to have all liberals instead of just one conservative, especially when the live audience obviously agrees with the four liberal viewpoints. Just my view.

How does Joy get free Medicare. Money is taken out of my pay every paycheck not only for social security but Medicare. I don't understand why people always say Social Security and Medicare is an entitlement and you get it for free. Most people work and pay social security and Medicare taxes. Hopefully, you live long enough to collect. When my mom goes to the doctor, she always has a co-pay and she has to pay exorbitant out of pocket costs for prescriptions because she is in the donut hole even with supplemental medical insurance. And, money is taken out of her social security check for Medicare. And then we have Whoopi wanting money back because she thinks she paid too much money in and doesn't want to pay for anyone else. She is always saying we should do more for the poor just as long as it isn't her.

Right, Ryan, you miss Kelly. Ha-Ha. You are just buttering her up for the take down. Ryan is so way over her level but he knows if he doesn't stroke her ego she will make it more uncomfortable for the obvious. I think Kelly knows it too. She tries so hard to make it look like she just LOVES him, just like she did with Michael and Regis. Kelly, you really aren't that good of an actress.

Most people think that birth control pills should be covered by insurance. What they don't think is fair that it is mandated to be covered 100% with not even a nominal co-pay. Most prescriptions require a considerable co-pay. Many poor women skimp on necessary medicines because of the co-pay.

This is the most boring show on television I can't even snark about it nevertheless watch it. Wash, rinse, repeat.

OMG, watching Kelly try so hard is hysterical. She is so out-classed by Ryan that I almost feel sorry for her. She is back to her strange nervous tics like opening her mouth wide open endlessly but no one is paying attention to her. Ryan is a pro and she is unimportant.

All the schools in our area also serve free breakfast and lunch for all students regardless of income. I do agree with Sunny that if we are serious about solving so many health issues that we have to offer healthy food. I wish I had been encouraged more to think about healthy choices. I think it will take time to change people's mindset, but it will be worth it.

I haven't watched this show in 5 months because I found Mika so annoying. I tuned it on Monday and realized she is even worse. She talks and makes facial gyrations when others are speaking. I find it very disrespectful. She constantly mumbles her stupid uninteresting comments when someone else is talking. They should tape her mouth shut so she isn't such a distraction. Mika, know YOUR worth.........ZERO! She is an insult to women. Please allow one of the zillion professional women to be a regular contributor instead. I don't care if she is Joe's girlfriend; she needs to be replaced.

If I were Andy Cohen and Kelly, I wouldn't underestimate Ryan! I don't think you can push him around.

Did you ever notice how Kelly gets so-o-o-o excited about food. She went on and on about a cheeseburger at McDonalds and God forbid they have food on the show!!!!! I am not wealthy, but I really don't get very excited when I see or eat food. I enjoy it, but I don't carry on about it and make it like it is such a big deal. I can understand a homeless person getting excited, but I don't know of anyone else making such a fuss about food. It's like it is such a treat.

OMG........really, Washing Post. I guess I was watching a different show or obviously appreciate a different craft of talking. I will be the first to admit Kelly's strengths, but they don't include effortlessly, entertaingly, without a script, on live television, every day of your life. It is frightening that our society admires people that offer little value, but for doctors/nurses/teachers and others that are truly doing life-saving work not only get no credit but are paid and valued at a minuscule of what people that offer little value. Entertainment value is wonderful but not on the same scale as someone that just saved your loved one.

Not quite sure why producers think everyone is interested with celebrities-of-the-moment and online polls and then are surprised that viewership is down. I watch the morning news so at 9:00 a.m. I am ready to be entertained. I rarely watch Live anymore because it is repititious and not interesting. Kelly's constant sexual innuendos are so obvious; it would be funny if it was organic. Talk about scripted, you can't help but notice in the background shots of producers holding everything on cue cards....not to mention Gelman (and Art Moore) practically sitting at the host chat table with a clipboard. Talk about scripted, she can't even say the day and date without Shully holding it up for Kelly to read. Never noticed any of that on KLG and Honda.

Ryan, like Michael Straham, is very close to his mother. Ryan mentioned that his mother will watch the show everyday. She will pick up on Kelly's insecurity immediately - if not, already. Kelly is toast.

I think Live With Kelly picked Ryan because they believe they would have serious competition with Megyn Kelly when her new show premieres on NBC at the same time in September, so they wanted a really strong and experienced person. They knew Kelly Ripa couldn't compete by herself or with a lightweight. It won't take him long to be the dominant one.

Vmdc88, that was hilarious about Jeff Rosen and the Tide Pods! I really had a good laugh at that. I suppose there is a big audience that enjoys those Rokerthons, but it just made me switch the channel. On another note, I thought Craig Ferguson did a really good job with Kathie Lee. I had some good laughs this week watching them.

Snowydaze, I also couldn't believe she was mocking Gelman because of his house in Long Island. Did she forget she has not only has a multi-million dollar house in the Hamptons, but also in Colorado, and a 25 million plus plus home in New York....even though she always refers it to an apartment! I actually laugh more at her pretending that she is just like one of us than I do at any comedy show I have ever seen. And when she said she does soul cycling only 3 times a week, I really lost it. How many times has she said she goes on Saturdays and Sundays as well as everyday...even when she is on vacation which is often. I would love to see the faces of the people that work there....are they laughing with her or at her. Of course, I am sure they are fearful of the repercussions if they didn't fawn over her but I sure bet their eyes are rolling. I also find the fake smoking inappropriate. Smoking is a difficult addiction and she should not be acting like it is glamorous. I am very surprised that Disney who doesn't allow any reference whatsoever to smoking permits this behavior.

Jerry acts very desperate to get the job. I think he is goofy, but I like him and think he is a good guy. Having said that, if he did get the job, I don't think it would take him long to realize it was a big mistake. She would treat him like an underling. I still for the life of me can't understand why she was upset with Michael when he didn't tell her about his new job. From what I understood, he was told NOT to say anything. Did Regis get upset with her when the fortune teller broke the news about her pregnancy. Anyway, Michael is enjoying a real lovefest over at GMA. He obviously doesn't miss Kelly with all the attention he is getting. I wonder if they ran into each other at the Oscars. No, that's right, they had her in a closet where she couldn't do any harm while Michael was out on the red carpet talking to all the celebrities.

How hilarious is it that Kelly makes such a point of eating. Like today, with the peanut butter, she kept waving the spoon with the peanut butter on it and then pretending her mouth was so-o-o-o full she couldn't even talk. I was laughing so hard I spit my coffee out my nose. Kelly, eating is normal for most people. You don't have to make a big deal out of it; trust me it is everyday life. She always makes such a fuss when they have food on the show that I assume it is such a rare occasion for her to eat and/or have food.

The Oscar After Show on Monday was absolutely terrible. The clips showed only a few celebrities stopped by their booth and they were bribed/begged with alcohol and mints. They talked to one another and ignored Kelly. Then, yesterday they showed the same few celebrities that stopped by. Not sure what the purpose of their show going when Good Morning America had all their crew there and actually talked to the stars. I agree her hair and make up were, to be kind, unfortunate. I actually felt bad for her.

Regarding having your social security number stolen, it is a huge nightmare and takes years to get straightened out. Believe me, you have no idea how it affects everything you try to do and can make life pretty miserable for a long time. I am not rich, work two jobs, and it caused unbelievable stress.
