  1. Jake? Do you mean Nick? Jake is the actor's name, not the character's name. I was pretty grossed out by that scene. It probably didn't help that I was eating breakfast while watching.
  2. I grew up in eastern WA, but I live in Seattle now. I've found that the writers don't put much effort into finding out what it's really like here.
  3. I'm so glad I'm not the only person who thinks this. I have secondhand embarrassment whenever I see her walking like that. It looks awkward and uncomfortable.
  4. Well, he was in eastern WA, so there wouldn't have been pine trees, but there certainly would've been plenty of wilderness and dry heat.
  5. This annoys me as much as when they would say "I am vampire" on True Blood. It makes the characters sound like kindergarteners who haven't learned proper grammar yet.
  6. Throughout the entire (boring) episode, I couldn't stop wondering what time these kids are supposed to be at school. When I was in elementary school, I believe class started at 8:25; there certainly wasn't time to lounge around the house, gallivant around town, and go to a sit-down restaurant before school.
  7. I agree with you on a number of these points. I also don't have sympathy for Alison. She's an entitled, privileged mean girl who doesn't have respect for anyone. She doesn't care about how her actions affect other people, she only cares about herself. I honestly think she has some kind of disorder. The girl should be checked into Radley. I would cry tears of joy if Ian Harding was written off the show. He sticks out like a sore thumb. When they try to integrate him with the liars, it just fails. He's a predator and should be shipped off to jail where he belongs for committing statutory rape with a student. I haven't gone back and rewatched past seasons, so correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Paige hold Emily under the water? That's what I call trying to drown someone. Ashley Benson IS fantastic. Both she and Hanna are underrated. I don't know why the liars always act like Hanna is the stupid one; she's the one figuring things out half the time. Tanner is extremely annoying. I'm not sure if it's the actor that bothers me or the character, but I can't stand her.
  8. Eddie Alderson would be perfect. He can act circles around his sister.
  9. I've been wanting to say this ever since Levi showed up. He makes vegans look absolutely insufferable, and it doesn't help with the stereotype. I wish Ron could write complex, multi-dimensional characters that aren't campy, silly, and predictable. I've hated the Dunklemonkey since the moment he stepped on screen. He's overbearing, rude, abusive, manipulative, and a know-it-all. I hope he stays at the waterfront construction site and gets hit by a crane. Maxie is a favorite of mine, but she's completely blinded by him. I thought she would have a moment of realization today, but unfortunately not. She's not thinking of her daughter at all. Doesn't she realize she'll lose Georgie forever if she gets arrested? Why does she think Kangaroo Ken (TM Morgan) is worth all of this bullshit when she could have responsible, hot Nathan who actually cares about her? I love IK, but please never let JPL anywhere near this show.
  10. Long-time lurker at TWoP, infrequent poster. My previous display name was epcarie. I freaked out a bit when I saw that TWoP was shutting down, but now I don't have to worry :) I was getting tired of TWoP anyway; the forum didn't have the best layout and the mods were incredibly overbearing. I'm looking forward to posting here!
