  1. That's why I said it felt rushed. Also they agreed to the wight hunt because no one of them, except Jon and Jorah, was risking too much. In fact, it was a very good offer they took quickly. And Jon, being Jon, makes perfect sense taking the job over his shoulders. In fact, the other main option: to go and destroy Kings Landing, was discussed previously and Jon convinced Dany to do not do that. E6 was controversial to whom exactly?. The people who uses the GoT forums around the net are just a tiny minority of the whole audience. The youtubers too. And critics made so many mistakes within their articles that they are an entire different case.
  2. I think the whole season was rushed, but (mostly) it made sense, E5 included. Tyrion suggestion was consistent with his character.
  3. No one of the characters exists in the same Planetos. No one exists therefore in the same "reality". Think about it as Earth1 and Earth 2 in DC comics. In fact, i think Bryan Cogman said something close to that. They never were the same people. It's an adaptation after all. A derivative work where they use the elements of the original narrative if they feel it is useful. In the first season they used many of those elements to create the narrative of their own characters inside their own "reality", in the last seasons they used less of them. That's all.
  4. I know you are asking other person, but yes, the wight hunt made sense.
  5. Or we have Arya playing the game of faces. In fact she tells Sansa (and the audience) that she is doing precisely that. Once again, it made sense.
  6. A very valid narrative choice is to leave the audience to decide what happened in a story. Yet, I felt it was rushed.
  7. We don't know that. It is left to the audience to decide what happened. That is what i think happened.
  8. It was rushed, yes; but I disagree with the "mess" part. At least it made lots of sense and it was consistent with Arya, Sansa, Bran and Petyr characters.
  9. Yes. I really doubt there will be any real backlash from the mayority of the audience.
  10. I think they did not excised anything. She has her own story in the show because Show!characters aren't (and never were) Book!characters.
  11. Oh! I so agree with that. I actually feel like we know nothing, even Jon knows more..
  12. One of those cases where people assumed stuff is Dark Sansa. People assumed Sansa becoming a political mastermind only because....what exactly? Lying to a few Lords and changing her clothes? Interviews? Behind the scenes commentaries? If that is the case, then who is that Jon Snow on screen, because surely he is dead since season 5 last episode.
  13. But people assume what are they trying to convey and then they criticize when the show does not show that.
  14. I really dont get it when people say: D&D think X character is Y But in the show, X is not that! Bad writing! Whatever D&D think of X is probably whatever you see on screen Did not occured to us that Interviews, Behind-of-scenes stuff, etc is mostly promotional material?
  15. He has been evolving, at least, since season 5. Example: In the Daznak Pit (Season 5): Tyrion Lannister: There's always been more than enough death in the world for my taste. I can do without it in my leisure time.
  16. This. He thinks he is doing something good, but actually he's terribly wrong. It works very well with the way D&D write their characters. Example, my fav character: Arya.
  17. IF the spoiler is true, we should remember Tyrion face when he saw the Lannisters troops and Drogon. And what he concluded with Varys about Dany.
  18. Thank you ?. But seriously, where is Ser Pounce??... I want the 2 dragons, the 2 direwolves and Ser Pounce team up! (Ser pounce, obviously, will be the leader)
  19. Jon was elected by acclamation. Kitties? Everyone forgets Ser Pounce!! Support systems in case of bad times are possible even in that world. If she wants to be elected, she better helps. Also if she wants living subjects. Or if she wants to stay in the Living-Team because the Night King will never stop.
  20. I think Dany should respect them if people decide to elect their own leader. And with this I'm not saying they should elect Sansa. Any leader should offer that, whatever those systems are named, at any time in history. It's nice. It's good. As good it's to respect if you want respect.
  21. Exactly. She should let them elect their own leader and respect that. If she wants respect she needs to respect them too.
  22. She is the proof there is a lot of kinds of fans. You don't need to write fanfic or to go to comic con or to write in a forum to be a fan.
  23. There a lot of kinds of fans around the world. I'm pretty sure some of them don't do any of those things. The problem is what are we in denial about in this very specific case: something that someone said about someone who wrote something somewhere else.
